GREEN SQUAD: Hi, Olivia.
[Pop]

SHAKIRA: Is there one in particular that you want to help?
[Pop]
DESCRIPTION: A cougar graphic appears.
OLIVIA: Yeah, I like the cougars, and I want to help them because they're part of the cat family. Cats are my favourite animals.
SHAKIRA: There's lots of ways we can help with something like that. We can organize different events to raise money and raise awareness. And then we can donate that money to organizations that can help.
LISA: I've got a great idea on how we can actually raise funds and awareness. A lemonade stand.
DESCRIPTION: A lemonade stand graphic appears.
[Pop]
[Text Reads] Yeah!
OLIVIA: That sounds really good.
SHAKIRA: And what would attract people to the stand more than...
OLIVIA: I can make up a dance.
DESCRIPTION: A cat dances.
SHAKIRA: Oh, yeah. A dance is a great idea. I was thinking superhero costume.
[Pop]
DESCRIPTION: A graphic of a purple-haired superhero wearing a yellow costume with a green star appears.
[Text Reads] Yeah!
OLIVIA: That'd be so good.
SHAKIRA: Right? Not only will they get us noticed and raise more awareness, but it'll also look really cool.
OLIVIA: Yeah.
SHAKIRA: Why don't you call your friends over and let's get crafty?
OLIVIA: Okay.
[Upbeat music plays]
DESCRIPTION: At a park, Shakira and Lisa follow Olivia through metal arches. Each stops, waves at the camera and then runs away.
[Title] Green Squad.
ELECTRONIC VOICE: Green Squad.

OLIVIA: These are my friends, Taylor and Isabella.
[Text Reads] Hi!
SHAKIRA: Tell us a little bit about the causes you girls care about.
TAYLOR: I care about pollution.
LISA: What a great cause, Taylor. And, you know, what do you think we can maybe do about that?
[Pop]
DESCRIPTION: A graphic of two children putting items in a green recycling bag appears.
TAYLOR: Oh, we can do a community clean-up.
DESCRIPTION: A graphic of paper and a pen appears.
LISA: Yeah, and then we can have people sign up at the lemonade stand.
SHAKIRA: What about you, Isabella?
ISABELLA: Lady beetles.
[Feet tap, pop]
DESCRIPTION: In animation, a lady beetle skitters over everyone. A lady beetle graphic appears.
LISA: Oh, yeah, the lady beetle. That's a very useful insect that protects crops from other insects and diseases. So great cause.
ISABELLA: Yeah.
SHAKIRA: So, are there any other causes you care about?
TAYLOR: The ocean.
[Pop]
DESCRIPTION: A graphic of a dolphin jumping over waves appears. Bee and turtle graphics appear.
ISABELLA: The bees.
OLIVIA: I like the turtles. They live in the ocean, right?
LISA: Okay. Those are all some amazing causes. Now, let's go with some names for your superheroes.
SHAKIRA: Huddle up.
[Everyone whispers]
DESCRIPTION: Everyone leans forward.
[Bell dings]
SHAKIRA: Okay, I think we came up with some good names. We’ve landed on... Drumroll please.
[Drum roll plays, hands slap]
DESCRIPTION: Everyone plays a drum roll on their thighs. A drum graphic appears.
[Exciting music plays, puffs]
TAYLOR: Taylor Tornado.
ISABELLA: Isa-Beetle.
OLIVIA: Olivi-Claw.
[Inspiring music plays, puff]
LISA: Okay, gals, those are some super cool names. Now, I think a name for all of you could be...
[Text Reads] The Eco-Heroes.
[Exclamations]
OLIVIA: Yes, that’s really good!
[Upbeat music plays]
SHAKIRA: Now time to gather our materials. Today we're going to go shopping somewhere very exciting.
OLIVIA: Where?
SHAKIRA: We're going to go shopping in...your very own closet.
[Pop, trumpet flourish plays]
DESCRIPTION: A graphic of a closet appears.
[Pop, Lisa claps]
[Text Reads] So cool!
SHAKIRA: Right? Ok, let's go.
DESCRIPTION: Everyone gets up.
LISA: Let's go shopping.
[Upbeat music plays]
DESCRIPTION: Lisa and Taylor slide a bin out of a closet. Lisa puts on a colourful clown wig, and Taylor puts on a tuque. At another closet, Isabella and Olivia give Shakira clothes, and she drapes them over her arm.
SHAKIRA NARRATES: Our closets are full of forgotten items that can be reused or upcycled when you have a creative project like making costumes. It's way more eco-friendly than buying new. And you save those things from going in the garbage. Plus, it's fun.
[Footsteps patter, upbeat music plays]
DESCRIPTION: Taylor and Lisa run up a staircase and pass Olivia, Isabella, and Shakira on their way down. Everyone sits at a dining room table with clothes and bins of supplies.
SHAKIRA: Okay, I already checked with mom, and she said that we can use all this stuff. So, a mix of my own craft supplies and yours will get the job done. I was thinking we can make capes with the t-shirts.
[Pop]
DESCRIPTION: A superhero graphic wears a green costume and a flowing pink cape. Shakira holds up a blue square of felt and a green one.
SHAKIRA: We're also going to use these. These are the felt pieces that you had in your craft supply bin, and we're going to use them to cut out a sort of logo for the shirt. It's going to be like an Earth. Let's just get crafting. How are you guys feeling?
CHILD: Good.
[Shakira claps]
SHAKIRA: Good? Okay, lets go.
[Scissors snip]
DESCRIPTION: Olivia cuts a letter E out of blue felt while Isabella cuts black felt.
LISA: So, Eco-Heroes, how do we feel about reusing clothes?
ISABELLA: Good.
OLIVIA: Good.
[Pop]
DESCRIPTION: Graphics of a T-shirt and a cape appear.
TAYLOR: If you have like a small T-shirt, you can just, like, make it into a cape or something.
[Pop]
DESCRIPTION: An illustration of the cape in a plastic package appears.
SHAKIRA: You're right. Even if you go to the costume store to buy a costume there, it comes in packaging, and then that goes into landfills, too.
LISA: Exactly. There's always different ways to reuse our clothes, even if they're too small for us. We can change them up a bit.
[Upbeat music plays, scissors snip, chimes]
DESCRIPTION: Olivia cuts lilac felt. Isabella holds a black pipe cleaner, and Shakira cuts it in half. Isabella ties it on a headband. Shakira holds a blue cape with “T.T.” on the back. Isabella draws lady beetles on a white crest with “I.B.” on it. Everyone cuts fabric. Shakira uses a glue gun on a grey tuque. Taylor tries it on, with three green arrows in a circle on the front.
SHAKIRA: Okay, these costumes look really cool. And I have a surprise for you. I've actually invited some of your family and friends so we can have a reveal party of the first three members of the Eco-Hero League.
[Puff]
[Text Reads] Cool!
SHAKIRA: You guys ready to try on your costumes?
TAYLOR: Yeah!
[Shakira claps]
[Text Reads] Let’s go.
[Mellow music plays]
DESCRIPTION: In the living room, Shakira speaks into a microphone. An illustration of black buildings with yellow lights appears beneath her.
SHAKIRA: Now presenting...The Eco-Heroes.
[Applause, cheers]
DESCRIPTION: A woman with blonde hair and a woman with long brown hair clap.
SHAKIRA: Three fearless superheroes emerging from the shadows of your closets. Using their superpowers to protect the planet. Now introducing...Olivi-Claw.
[Cheers, applause, whoosh, hiss]
DESCRIPTION: On the couch, Olivia’s parents clap and cheer. Olivi-Claw wears cat ears on a headband, a white T-shirt, and black wrist bands with fuzzy trim. She wears a blue cape. Olivi-Claw kicks the air in front of her and smiles. She bends her fingers like claws, and a drawing of scratch marks appears. On her shirt is an Earth with “Eco Hero” written on clouds.
SHAKIRA: With her lightning-fast reflexes and claws, she'll slash through any threats that come her way and protect the cougar. Next up, we have... Taylor Tornado.
[Cheers, applause]
DESCRIPTION: Taylor Tornado poses. She wears the grey tuque, a white T-shirt with the Eco Hero symbol, and a blue cape.
SHAKIRA: In the blink of an eye, Taylor will come sweep in and take up all the trash in the park before you can say "peeew.”
[Applause, cheers, fireworks explode]
DESCRIPTION: In animation, fireworks spark.
SHAKIRA: And last but certainly not least, we have…Isa-Beetle.
[Cheers, applause]
DESCRIPTION: Isa-Beetle wears a large white Eco Hero T-shirt, a black belt, red wristbands, leggings, and a black antenna on a headband. She holds the edges of the long shirt and curtsies. Her red cape has black spots and the white I.B. crest.
SHAKIRA: The quiet and clever hero of nature, who will use her superpowers to protect the Lady Beetle.
[Cheers, applause, fireworks explode]
DESCRIPTION: In animation, fireworks spark as Isa-Beetle leaves the room. On the floor, a short-haired boy claps. The Eco Heroes return to the room.
SHAKIRA: A round of applause for our first three members of the Eco Hero League.
[Soft music plays]
LISA: Now, are you girls ready to use your superpowers to work to save the planet?
[Text Reads] Yeah!
DESCRIPTION: Lisa holds a potted lemon balm plant.
LISA: We are going to use this lemon balm to fundraise for the cause you care most about. Are you ready?
[Text Reads] Yeah!
DESCRIPTION: The Eco Heroes and the Green Squad pile their hands between them and then lift them.
[Text Reads] 1, 2, 3, The Eco Heroes.
[Whoosh, epic music plays]
DESCRIPTION: In the living room, the girls spin and change into their costumes.
[Text Reads] Eco Heroes.
[Upbeat music plays]
DESCRIPTION: Shakira, Eric, Lisa, and Kyle bob up and down.
[Text Reads] Green Beat.
[Upbeat music plays, whoosh]
DESCRIPTION: In the living room, the Eco Heroes pose. A cut-out photograph of Shakira smiles. Video footage shows protestors holding signs, including a cardboard sign with an image of the Earth and the text “Help me!” In a laboratory, students work on circuit boards.
SHAKIRA NARRATES: Young people all over the world are stepping up for eco causes they care about. And some are even helping find solutions.
[Chimes, plop]
DESCRIPTION: A gold trophy is labelled “Winner.” The Earth lands in the trophy.
[Text Reads] The Earth Prize.
SHAKIRA NARRATES: Now, a really cool global prize some of those genius ideas. It's called the Earth Prize. And it's the largest environmental competition in the world for kids between 13 and 19 years old.
[Squeaks, pops]
DESCRIPTION: A graphic of the Earth rotates with three smiling children beside it. Red dots appear in different countries, with some dots connecting to photographs of smiling teenagers.
[Text Reads] Thirteen to nineteen years old. 2021. Ten thousand. One hundred and fifty-four.
SHAKIRA NARRATES: It started in 2021, and so far, 10,000 young people from 154 countries have applied.
[Whoosh, water bubbles, bell dings, flatulence toots]
DESCRIPTION: In an animation, water covers a smartphone and text on the screen reads, “Flood! Flood! Flood! Flood! Flood!” In another animation, a baby wears a brown diaper. A clothing pin appears on Shakira’s nose in a cut-out photograph. A red flower grows.
SHAKIRA NARRATES: Winners and runners-up have come up with solutions to all sorts of problems. From an app that can be used to predict flood patterns, to biodegradable diapers made out of coconut and banana fibre.
[Whoosh]
DESCRIPTION: A person holds up a trophy. In a room, a girl wears a robotic arm and looks at a computer screen. A cut-out photograph of Shakira smiles and closes her eyes, her arms raised.
SHAKIRA NARRATES: And winners get more than just a trophy; they get money to help them bring their solutions to life. So inspiring!
[Upbeat music plays]
DESCRIPTION: In the park, the Eco Heroes pose, smiling.
[Title] Green Squad.
ELECTRONIC VOICE: Green Squad.
DESCRIPTION: In Olivia’s kitchen, Lisa holds the lemon balm. Olivia, Taylor, Isabella, and Shakira stand in a row in front of her.
LISA: Are you ready for the fundraising challenge?
ECO HEROES: Yeah.
DESCRIPTION: Shakira nods.
LISA: Perfect, so how do you think that we can help get the word out?
TAYLOR: We can make posters.
[Pop]
DESCRIPTION: Graphics of posters featuring lemons, flowers, and smiling people appear.
LISA: That's a great idea. Perfect.
SHAKIRA: You can even use some of the leftover craft supplies from making the costumes.
[Pop]
DESCRIPTION: A graphic of a smiling lemon appears.
LISA: Okay. So, while Olivi-Claw and I stay here and make the Lemon Balm-onade, you guys get crafting.
[Shakira claps]
SHAKIRA: Lots of work to do!
[Upbeat music plays, pop]
DESCRIPTION: Isabella and Taylor follow Shakira out of the kitchen. Lisa and Olivia stand at a kitchen island with three stacked jars of honey and a red napkin over an ingredient. A lemon graphic appears.
LISA: So, for our lemonade stand, I've actually got a little bit of a twist. Instead of using lemons, which grow very far away from where we live, we are going to use a local ingredient to make... Lemon Balm-onade.
OLIVIA: What is that?
[Pop]
DESCRIPTION: A graphic of a jar of honey with a bee on the label appears.
LISA: So, the ingredients are local honey, and the star of the show is...drumroll please.
[Drum roll plays, tapping]
DESCRIPTION: The drum graphic appears. Lisa plays a drum roll on the counter and removes the napkin, revealing lemon balm leaves on a cutting board.
[Chimes]
LISA: Lemon balm.
[Upbeat music plays]
OLIVIA: That’s a lot of leaves.
LISA: So, lemon balm is actually an herb in the mint family, but it tastes and smells exactly like lemons, so it's going to be perfect for our Lemon Balm-onade. Plus, you can grow it right here, in your backyard. So, step one is to pluck the leaves from the stems.
DESCRIPTION: They pluck the leaves from the stems and drop them into a measuring cup.
LISA: Awesome. Do you want to rinse it off for us?
[Water splashes]
DESCRIPTION: Lisa rinses the leaves in the measuring cup.
LISA: There we go, yeah.
DESCRIPTION: Lisa holds a strainer over the sink.
LISA: Dump.
DESCRIPTION: Olivia dumps the leaves into the strainer. Lisa gestures to the red napkin.
LISA: Place.
DESCRIPTION: Olivia puts the leaves on the napkin.
OLIVIA: Wow, it really smells like lemon.
[Water sprays, splashes, cup clunks]
DESCRIPTION: Olivia folds the napkin over the leaves and pats it. She fills the measuring cup with water and pours it into a pot.
[Text Reads] Perfect.
LISA: Now we're going to move this over to the stove and let it heat up, but not boil.
[Lid rattles]
DESCRIPTION: Lisa puts the pot on the stove and puts the lid on. Later, Olivia adds the leaves to the water.
LISA: So now I'm going to put the lid on, and we are going to let it steep for ten minutes.
[Alarms blare, pop]
DESCRIPTION: Alarm clock graphics appear, covering Olivia and Lisa. After 10 minutes, Lisa pours the leaves and liquid onto a strainer over a bowl. She removes the lid from a jar of honey.
OLIVIA: My friend gave us this honey from her beehive.
[Pop]
DESCRIPTION: A graphic of a beekeeper holding a honey-covered frame appears. Lisa pours honey into the water, and Olivia tastes it.
OLIVIA: Maybe a little bit more honey.
DESCRIPTION: Lisa adds more honey.
LISA: Okay. Stir it up.
[Spoon clinks]
DESCRIPTION: Olivia stirs the Lemon Balm-onade.
LISA: So now that this is tasting great, we will let it cool and then serve it up later at your lemonade stand.
OLIVIA: Okay.
LISA: Perfect.
[Hands slap]
DESCRIPTION: Olivia and Lisa high-five. Outside, the others draw posters at a patio table. A poster advertises the Lemon Balm-onade at the park at 3 p.m. The poster features a rainbow, a cougar, a butterfly, a lady beetle, stars, and a heart. Another poster features a drawing of a cougar and a paw print with scratch marks above it. Shakira, Taylor, and Isabella tape posters to playground equipment, a brick wall, and a pole.
SHAKIRA NARRATES: Isa-Beetle, Taylor Tornado, and I made some awesome, colourful posters about the Lemon Balm-onade stand. Now we're putting them up around the neighbourhood to help spread the word.
[Upbeat music plays]
DESCRIPTION: In the park, Shakira pushes Lisa on a swing as Olivia swings beside them. She pushes them both, and Olivia smiles back at her.
[Title] Green Squad.
ELECTRONIC VOICE: Green Squad.
[Upbeat music plays]
DESCRIPTION: A flag banner at the lemonade stand reads “Lemonade,” with an adhesive note after “Lemon” that reads “BALM.” A green tablecloth has a recycling symbol, stars, lemons, and lady beetles. Text at the bottom reads, “Eco Heroes.” A sign on a cashbox reads, “Donations. Pay what you can.” Shakira, Taylor Tornado, and Isa-Beetle arrive.
SHAKIRA: Wow, it looks amazing, guys.
[Children exclaim]
TAYLOR: Yeah.
SHAKIRA: So, heroes, are you ready for your mission?
[Lisa claps her hands]
LISA: To raise funds and awareness for the causes you care most about.
[Text Reads] Yeah!
LISA: Perfect. Hands in!
[Text Reads] 1, 2, 3. The Eco Heroes.
DESCRIPTION: Everyone puts their hand in the centre and then lifts them. The Eco Heroes run in the park. A clipboard on the stand table holds a sign-up sheet for a Community Clean-Up. Lisa puts jugs of Lemon Balm-onade on the table, and Isa-Beetle holds out a cup. Everyone gathers behind the table and waves.
[Text Reads] Hi.
OLIVI-CLAW: The reason we are collecting all of this money is to help the cougars because their habitats are being threatened by human activity.
CUSTOMER: Wow, that's a very good cause.
[Upbeat music plays, background chatter]
DESCRIPTION: The Eco Heroes sell hairbands and cups of Lemon Balm-onade. The table has a pile of photocopied handwritten cougar fact sheets. Taylor Tornado looks at the clipboard. A customer puts their cup in a compost bag.
LISA NARRATES: The money Olivia and her friends are raising can be used for all sorts of things that will help the causes they believe in. Scientific research, materials to raise awareness, and trying to convince government to make laws that protect the places animals live.
DESCRIPTION: Children gather around the table.
TAYLOR TORNADO: You want to sign up for our community cleanup?
CHILD: I wish I was part of your hero group.
OLIVIA-CLAW: We can recruit you if you want.
ISA-BEETLE: Yep, I think that’s all of it.
LISA: I think that's all of it. Okay, girls, the stand looks like a total success. We sold all of our Lemon Balm-onade
[Lisa and Shakira applaud, cheer]
LISA: Wow, Good job. Awesome. Look at how much money we raised.
SHAKIRA: And we got so many signups for the community cleanup. So, we have your next mission. Like, pretty much like, ready to go.
LISA: Awesome. All right, three cheers for the Eco Heroes.
EVERYONE CHEERS: Hip hip hooray! Hip hip hooray! Hip hip hooray!
DESCRIPTION: Lisa and Shakira lift the tablecloth, and the Eco Heroes lie on the grass beneath the table. They wave.
[Text Reads] Hi.
[Everyone laughs]
[Upbeat music plays]
DESCRIPTION: Shakira, Eric, Lisa, and Kyle bob up and down.
[Text Reads] Green Beat.
[Upbeat music plays]
DESCRIPTION: In front of a green background, a cut-out photograph of Lisa and a video close-up of a bald eagle both have scribbles on their heads.
LISA NARRATES: One animal that’s had more than just a bad hair day is the bald eagle.
[Engine rumbles, boing, bald eagle squeaks, gavel bangs]
DESCRIPTION: In an animation, bald eagles disappear from the sky. A tractor drives across the green background. In a photograph of a nest on a tree stump, the nest falls to the ground. Text beside a bald eagle reads, “Stop.” A judge bangs a gavel, and brass scales shift on the table. A cut-out photograph of Lisa smiles.
LISA NARRATES: These majestic birds started to disappear after years of being hunted, poisoned by pesticides and having their nesting grounds destroyed. Activists spoke up, and finally they were listed as endangered under the law, and measures were taken to protect them.
[Harp chord plays, upbeat music continues, boings]
DESCRIPTION: A photograph features a bald eagle and two eaglets in a nest. A graphic of a pink heart and a checkmark on a pink crest appears. In an animation, a single bald eagle appears on a map of the United States. More eagles appear, and a cut-out photograph of Lisa jumps.
[Text Reads] Three hundred and sixteen thousand and seven hundred!
LISA NARRATES: Programs were started to help the eagles have more babies and to keep their nesting areas safe. There were once less than a thousand bald eagles in all of the United States, but they bounced back. There are now more than 316,000!
DESCRIPTION: A cut-out photograph of Lisa smiles broadly. In video footage, a bald eagle turns and looks directly into a camera. The cut-out photograph shows Lisa winking, smiling and sticking out her tongue.
LISA NARRATES: Now that they're safe, the eagles only have a few ruffled feathers.
[Upbeat music plays]
DESCRIPTION: In the park, Olivia, Lisa, and Shakira slide down a slide and wave.
[Title] Green Squad.
ELECTRONIC VOICE: Green Squad.
[Upbeat music plays]
DESCRIPTION: On a staircase leading to a house, Shakira sits with the Eco Heroes. Lisa leans against the metal railing.
SHAKIRA: So how did it feel to take some action on a cause you really care about?
ISA-BEETLE: It’s great!
OLIVI-CLAW: It was fun! We got all our family and friends together, and we made a lot of money for the Cougars.
SHAKIRA: Yeah, we did, and we also raised…
OLIVI-CLAW: Awareness.
LISA: How did all of you feel about working together as the League together?
[Text Reads] Awesome!
SHAKIRA: It shows that, like when people come together, they can make a real change, no matter how young you are, right?
LISA: Yeah. It's also great when your community comes out to support you.
SHAKIRA: Well, we can't wait to see everything that you get up to, and it was so nice working with you.
LISA: Talk to you soon.
EVERYONE: Bye!
DESCRIPTION: Everyone waves, and Lisa and Shakira leave.
[Upbeat music plays]
[Text Reads] Check-In.
DESCRIPTION: The Green Squad dances.
[Upbeat music plays]
DESCRIPTION: In the Green Squad headquarters, Shakira, Eric, Lisa, and Kyle sit by the table with the tablet.
LISA: Let's check in on Olivia.
[Shakira claps, Eco Heroes chatter]
DESCRIPTION: The Eco-Heroes wear their superhero costumes and run down the steps from Olivi-Claw’s house. Taylor Tornado carries a plastic bag.
IN GREEN SQUAD HEADQUARTERS, SHAKIRA: The squad's back together.
LISA: Yes!
[Eric chuckles]
DESCRIPTION: In the park, Olivi-Claw stands in the playground.
OLIVI-CLAW: Hey, squad, look at all these people that we recruited to save the environment.
[Superheroes cheer]
DESCRIPTION: Olivi-Claw holds an empty trash bag. The Eco Heroes stand with four new costume-wearing superheroes, all wearing matching shirts.
IN GREEN SQUAD HEADQUARTERS, SHAKIRA AND LISA: Oh my gosh!
SHAKIRA: Look how many new members...
[Chatter, fireworks explode]
DESCRIPTION: In the park, the Eco Heroes pile their hands together and then raise them. In animation, fireworks explode around them.
[Text Reads] 1, 2, 3, The Eco Heroes.
IN GREEN SQUAD HEADQUARTERS, SHAKIRA: I remember these people from the lemonade stand. They wanted to join, and now they did.
LISA: And they all have, like, the same costume!
SHAKIRA: So amazing. I wonder what all their causes are?
DESCRIPTION: In the park, the Eco Heroes run with empty trash and recycling bags.
OLIVI-CLAW: Come on.
IN GREEN SQUAD HEADQUARTERS, SHAKIRA: So, this one is Taylor Tornado's mission.
DESCRIPTION: In the park, they pick up trash and put it in the bags. They run across the playground.
OLIVI-CLAW: It’s working so well.
[Children shout]
IN GREEN SQUAD HEADQUARTERS, ERIC: Look at all those smiles.
LISA: Yeah, they look like they're having a blast, honestly and doing something great for the environment.
DESCRIPTION: In the park, they put trash in the bags.
IN HER LIVING ROOM, OLIVIA: I was inspired by the squad. And hopefully, we can help people understand that not to litter.
IN THE PARK, OLIVI-CLAW: I think this was a success because we got two big bags of garbage.
DESCRIPTION: Olivi-Claw holds up two full garbage bags.
[Children cheer]
IN GREEN SQUAD HEADQUARTERS, ERIC: It's so fun to see them have this great activity and also have the sense of worth to contribute to something way large you know, they're really making a difference.
SHAKIRA: And it's really cool that Olivia started as like a leader to her few friends, but now she's expanded the team.
[Children exclaim]
DESCRIPTION: In the park, the Eco Heroes run to a picnic table and sit down. In Olivia’s living room, Taylor Tornado and Isa-Beetle pose.
IN HER LIVING ROOM, OLIVIA: Shakira and Lisa were helping us make the costumes, and they helped us a lot. And my favourite part about making the costume was getting to design our own things. We got to cut up a bunch of stuff.
IN GREEN SQUAD HEADQUARTERS, LISA: Those were so fun to make.
SHAKIRA: Yeah, and costumes are not only to get noticed, but also to spread awareness about the causes that you care about.
KYLE: Shakira, why don't we have cool costumes like that?
[They laugh]
LISA: That's a good question.
ERIC: We might need to step up our costume.
[They laugh]
LISA: That's a good point. We've got major competition.
[Background chatter]
DESCRIPTION: In Olivia’s living room, the three original Eco Heroes pose in front of the couch. In a flashback, they serve Lemon Balm-onade at the lemonade stand.
IN HER LIVING ROOM, OLIVIA: It was a lot of fun because we got to go out and make a lemonade stand, which I really wanted to do for a long time. But I didn't think it would take that many leaves to make just two pitchers of Lemon Balm-onade. So that was really cool. I think we raised a lot of awareness because we made so many little posters of like information. And that helped a lot.
IN GREEN SQUAD HEADQUARTERS, LISA: It seems like they learned a lot about fundraising and working as a team.
SHAKIRA: Yeah.
KYLE: The Eco Heroes were incredible.
SHAKIRA: Looks like she saved the day.
DESCRIPTION: The Green Squad stands.
[Text Reads] Go Olivi-Claw!

TAYLOR: If you have like a small T-shirt, you can just, like, make it into a cape or something.
[Pop]
DESCRIPTION: An illustration of the cape in a plastic package appears.

[Upbeat music plays, scissors snip, chimes]

[Cheers, applause, fireworks explode]
DESCRIPTION: In animation, fireworks spark as Isa-Beetle leaves the room. On the floor, a short-haired boy claps. The Eco Heroes return to the room.

[Soft music plays]
LISA: Now, are you girls ready to use your superpowers to work to save the planet?
[Text Reads] Yeah!

[Pop]

[Children exclaim]
TAYLOR: Yeah.

LISA NARRATES: One animal that’s had more than just a bad hair day is the bald eagle.
[Engine rumbles, boing, bald eagle squeaks, gavel bangs]

Text beside a bald eagle reads, “Stop.” A judge bangs a gavel, and brass scales shift on the table. A cut-out photograph of Lisa smiles.
LISA NARRATES: These majestic birds started to disappear after years of being hunted, poisoned by pesticides and having their nesting grounds destroyed. Activists spoke up, and finally they were listed as endangered under the law, and measures were taken to protect them.
[Harp chord plays, upbeat music continues, boings]
