[Upbeat music]
DESCRIPTION: Mr. Hugo dances with Hector, Trixie, Dawn and Naomi on the storybook stage. The coloured tiles change colours as they dance.
HECTOR [singing]: I can't hide who I am, I'm bursting at the seams, my colours flying out, blue, yellows, pinks and greens. I may not be the old me, I'm becoming something new, yeah. I've been this way all along; now my light is shining through! Every ending is a new beginning; if I change, I know that I will still be me.
DESCRIPTION: Hector and his friends spin.
HECTOR [singing]: I might not know just where I'm heading, but I am who I am, who I am meant to be.
DESCRIPTION: Mr. Hugo takes centre stage.
MR. HUGO [singing]: Now I don't need to be afraid, I'll give the world a chance. I know some adore me, exactly as I am.
HECTOR [singing]: Everybody sees my glitter, my twinkle and my spark. I don't need to hide myself or what lives in my heart!
EVERYONE [singing]: Every ending is a new beginning. If I change, I know that I will still be me. I might not know just where I'm heading, but I am who I am, who I am meant to be.
DESCRIPTION: In the library, Mr. Hugop dances with Georgie, Arlo and Tia wearing a sparkly champagne-coloured suit with a matching floral vest, shirt and green bow tie.

MR. HUGO: I'm a little sad the story's over. But I'm excited to read a new one.
GEORGIE: And a perfect time for a new suit. Looks great, Mr. Hugo.
ARLO AND TIA: Yeah!
TIA: Hey, librarians?
ARLO: Maybe we could talk about pay rises for your new volunteers?
DESCRIPTION: Tia walks toward the tree.
TIA: Hey, honorary assistant librarians?
MR. HUGO [whispering]: Shh, I think Tia's trying to say something.
TIA: Hey, honorary volunteer assistant librarians!
DESCRIPTION: Tia points toward the cocoon. Mr. Hugo, Georgie and Arlo follow her gaze, then get up from their seats and join her.
[Sparkling chime]
DESCRIPTION: A warm light shines softly on the four friends as they watch Dewey emerge from his cocoon.
[Dewey grunting]
DEWEY: Ah...
DESCRIPTION: Dewey swings in the cocoon.
[Mr. Hugo gasps]
EVERYONE: Wow!
[Popping]
DESCRIPTION: Dewey flies beside the tree as a moth.
GEORGIE: Dewey's a book moth.
TIA: Hi, Dewey.
[Dewey, in gibberish]: Hi, Tia!
ARLO: What did he say?
MR. HUGO AND TIA: He said, "Hi, Tia."
GEORGIE: You can understand him now?
TIA: Yeah?
MR. HUGO: Look at you, Dewey! You can reach books on the high up shelves now!
[Excited gibberish]
MR. HUGO: You're a little different to your old ID photo. But change looks good on you, my friend.
DESCRIPTION: Mr. Hugo hugs Dewey.
GEORGIE: Does this mean you're opening your library today, Mr. Hugo?
DESCRIPTION: Georgie, Arlo and Tia look at Mr. Hugo. Arlo crosses his fingers. Mr. Hugo straightens his bow tie and nods.
MR. HUGO: I think it's time.
[Dewey gasps]
ARLO [whisper]: Yes!
DESCRIPTION: Dewey nuzzles Mr. Hugo.
[Dewey purring]
DESCRIPTION: Mr. Hugo walks up to the front doors. He glances back at Georgie, Arlo, Tia and Dewey, who nod. Mr. Hugo opens the doors, and a large crowd of patrons walks in.
