[Upbeat music plays]
T.V.O. host Gabrielle stands in front of a backdrop covered with doodles of cups, arrows, stars, shapes, faces, scissors, hearts, an airplane, and a bicycle on a lined piece of paper. She wears a red T.V.O. Kids sweater.
Gabrielle says, HEY, TVOKIDS! IT'S GABRIELLE WITH SOME ONTARIO STAYCATION TIPS, AND TODAY, I WANNA TALK TO YOU ABOUT AN AMAZING PLACE YOU CAN VISIT FOR FREE WITH YOUR FAMILY: THE SLEEPING GIANT IN THUNDER BAY. HAVE YOU EVER BEEN THERE BEFORE?
Aerial video footage shows the Sleeping Giant rock formation from across Lake Superior. At a beach, a girl leans down behind a dog and removes a toy from the shallow water.
Gabrielle narrates, THE SLEEPING GIANT IS A HUGE ROCK FORMATION THAT LOOKS LIKE A GIANT LYING ON ITS BACK. AND IT'S LOCATED IN SLEEPING GIANT PROVINCIAL PARK, WHICH IS JUST OUTSIDE OF THUNDER BAY. AND THE PARK IS NAMED AFTER THIS INCREDIBLE NATURAL WONDER, AND IT'S A GREAT PLACE TO EXPLORE WITH YOUR FAMILY.
On a rocky shoreline, two people sit on a large rock by the water. A person hikes on a trail in the forest. A smiling child wearing water wings swims.
Gabrielle narrates, THERE ARE SO MANY ACTIVITIES YOU CAN DO AT THE PARK. YOU CAN GO HIKING ON ONE OF THE MANY TRAILS, ENJOY A PICNIC WITH YOUR FAMILY, OR YOU CAN EVEN GO SWIMMING IN LAKE SUPERIOR.
A sandhill crane stands by the edge of the water on a beach. A toad hops in patchy grass.
Gabrielle narrates, THE PARK IS ALSO A GREAT PLACE FOR BIRDWATCHING AND WILDLIFE PHOTOGRAPHY.
In front of the backdrop, Gabrielle says, YOU MIGHT SEE DEER, FOXES, AND MANY DIFFERENT TYPES OF BIRDS. AND IF YOU LOVE ADVENTURE, YOU CAN HIKE TO THE TOP OF THE SLEEPING GIANT AND ENJOY THE BREATHTAKING VIEWS OF THUNDER BAY AND LAKE SUPERIOR.
Video footage shows people sitting on the rocks on top of the Sleeping Giant. A graphic of a flower appears.
Gabrielle narrates, IT'S A CHALLENGING HIKE, BUT THE VIEW FROM THE TOP IS DEFINITELY WORTH IT.
In front of the backdrop, Gabrielle says, VISITING THE SLEEPING GIANT IS A WONDERFUL WAY TO SPEND TIME WITH YOUR FAMILY AND CONNECT WITH NATURE, AND THE BEST PART IS A LOT OF THE ACTIVITIES ARE FREE!
