At night, the stars and full moon shine above the Moon family’s mansion. Isadora Moon, a young half-vampire, half-fairy girl with long black hair, pointy ears, pink bat wings and vampire fangs, wears a light purple cardigan over a light pink dress with black stars.

[Upbeat music plays]

A singer sings, ISADORA MOON THE ONE AND ONLY, HERE I GO. I'M TOTALLY UNIQUE AND EXTRA-STARRY.

Isadora spins and waves her star wand.

The singer sings, WAVING MY WAND, FLYING FEARLESSLY, YEAH IT'S YOUR GIRL, ISADORA.

Isadora’s fairy mom, Cordelia, and vampire dad, Bartholomew, join Isadora. Cordelia has long, wavy pink hair, pointy ears and green wings. She wears a flower crown and a green cardigan over a pink dress. Bartholomew has short black hair and wears a black and purple cape with a striped, grey suit vest.

The singer sings, A LITTLE BIT OF BOTH. HALF A VAMPIRE, HALF A FAIRY.

Isadora flies over her neighbourhood with Pink Rabbit, a pink rabbit stuffed toy come to life.

The singer sings, READY FOR A NEW EXCITING JOURNEY!

Isadora dives into the ocean. Text reads, “Written by Denise Cassar. Theme Song by Helen Park.”

The singer sings, SPARKLY AND EXTRAORDINARY.

Isadora swims underwater as a mermaid and transforms into a black cat. Text reads, “Series Director William Gordon. Showrunner Deborah Thorpe.”

The singer sings, YEAH, THAT'S ME, ISADORA WATCH ME BE.

Isadora flies around the show title and waves her wand. Text reads, “Isadora Moon. Based on the Isadora Moon books and characters by Harriet Muncaster.”

[Light, cheerful music plays]

The episode title reads, “Isadora Goes Vampire.” As the sun rises, Bartholomew flies over the neighbourhood. Isadora closely follows.

Isadora says, DAD! WATCH MY LOOP-DE-LOOP!

Isadora flies in a loop-de-loop,

Bartholomew says, OH! VERY IMPRESSIVE!

Isadora and Bartholomew hover in the air.

Bartholomew says, YOU KNOW I'M SO GLAD YOU HAD A GREAT TIME WITH YOUR COUSINS.

Isadora says, BEING A VAMPIRE IS AWESOME!

Isadora and Bartholomew fly away.

Isadora cheers, WHEE!

Outside the Moon family’s mansion, Cordelia stands on the sidewalk holding Honey Blossom. Pink Rabbit stands at her feet. Cordelia and Pink Rabbit look around. Honey Blossom sucks her thumb. Pink Rabbit smiles and points toward the sky. Bartholomew lands on the sidewalk beside Cordelia and smiles.

Bartholomew sighs, AH.

Isadora flies toward the sidewalk and skids across the cement.

Isadora yelps, UH!

Isadora falls headfirst into a bush.

Isadora yelps, OH!

[Rustling]

[Isadora giggling]

Isadora climbs out of the bush and cheers, WE'RE BACK, MUM!

Isadora joins her family on the sidewalk.

Isadora says, I HAD THE BEST VAMPIRE WEEKEND EVER WITH MY COUSINS! GUESS WHAT? WE DID ACRO-FLYING. I WENT NIGHT-VISION HOVERBOARDING. AND, WE DID BAT TRAINING!

Pink Rabbit waves his arms around.

Cordelia says, WOW! WHAT A WEEKEND!

Isadora says, I KNOW. OH, AND AUNT OMI SAID MY FLYING'S COMING ALONG REALLY NICELY! AND OMARI GAVE ME HIS OLD CLOAK! I'M NEVER TAKING IT OFF.

[Bartholomew chuckling]

Bartholomew says, VERY STYLISH.

Pink Rabbit pulls on Isadora’s cloak.

Isadora says, HI, PINK RABBIT!

Isadora pulls Pink Rabbit’s paws off the cloak.

Isadora says, CAREFUL. MY CLOAK. IT'S PRECIOUS.

Pink Rabbit frowns.

Cordelia says, SOUNDS LIKE YOU HAD A WONDERFUL TIME WITH YOUR COUSINS.

Isadora says, I DID!

[Isadora loudly yawning]

[Honey Blossom quietly yawning]

[Cordelia laughing]

Cordelia says, MY WORD! YOU ALMOST SWALLOWED ME! YOU'VE BEEN UP ALL NIGHT. WHY DON'T YOU GO AND HAVE A NAP?

Isadora says, I'M NOT TIRED! I WANT TO TRY SOME SHAPE-SHIFTING. MAYBE INTO A WOLF!

[Isadora imitating a wolf roaring]

Isadora spreads her arms and skips across the sidewalk.

[Isadora imitating a wolf roaring]

[Bartholomew chuckling]

Bartholomew says, OKAY! SLOW DOWN, ISADORA. YOU'RE NOT QUITE READY FOR SHAPE-SHIFTING YET, AND YOUR MOM'S RIGHT. YOU KNOW, VAMPIRES AND FAIRIES NEED THEIR SLEEP.

Isadora says, BUT COULD I SAY GOODNIGHT… MORNING TO THE BATS FIRST?

[Bartholomew sighing]

[Cordelia giggling]

Bartholomew and Cordelia turn toward the house.

[Isadora giggling]

In the lounge at the top of the stairs, Bartholomew’s three bats sleep upside down on a bookshelf above the fireplace.

Isadora says, HI, BORIS! DID YOU MISS ME?

[Bats softly snoring]

One of the bats, Boris, opens one eye and glances toward Isadora and Bartholomew. Sunlight shines through a large window.

Isadora says, LET'S DO SOME BAT FORMATION FLYING!

Bartholomew frowns.

[Bats snoring]

Bartholomew says, UH, MAYBE TONIGHT? YOU SEE, BEFORE I CAME TO FETCH YOU, MY DEAR BAT FRIENDS AND I HAD QUITE A TIME VISITING THE LOCAL BELFRIES.

[Bartholomew yawning]

Bartholomew says, I REALLY NEED A REST. AND SO DO YOU.

Isadora says, OH! I'M NOT TIRED! SHOW ME HOW YOU SHAPE-SHIFT. YOU'RE SO GOOD AT IT!

Bartholomew says, OH, I AM RATHER, AREN'T I? OKAY, OKAY! JUST ONCE.

[Bartholomew clearing his throat]

Bartholomew asks, READY?

[Bartholomew grunting]

[Organ music plays]

Bartholomew spins and shape-shifts into a cat.

[Bartholomew meowing]

[Isadora clapping]

Isadora asks, CAN I TRY?

As a cat, Bartholomew stretches.

[Bartholomew meowing]

Bartholomew says MM, HOW ABOUT WE BOTH CURL UP AND HAVE A CAT NAP INSTEAD, HM?

Isadora says, NOT YET! I REALLY WANT TO TRY SHAPE-SHIFTING! PLEASE, DAD!

Bartholomew frowns.

Bartholomew says, OKAY, JUST ONCE.

[Bartholomew clearing his throat]

Bartholomew says, SO, YOU HAVE TO FOCUS REALLY HARD ON WHAT YOU WANT TO SHAPE-SHIFT INTO.

Isadora says, I CAN DO THAT!

[Intense music plays]

Isadora closes her eyes and says, OKAY, A CAT.

Sparkles shine around Isadora. Cat whiskers pop out of her cheeks.

[Isadora gasping]

Isadora looks at her whiskers. She frowns, and they disappear.

Isadora whines, OH.

Isadora looks disappointed.

Bartholomew says, AW! EXCELLENT START! YOU JUST NEED A BIT MORE PRACTICE, BUT RIGHT NOW, IT'S THE MIDDLE OF THE MORNING, AND SO, SLEEPSY TIME!

Still a cat, Bartholomew lies down in front of the fireplace.

[Bartholomew softly snoring]

Isadora says OKAY, DAD. I'M JUST GONNA DO A FEW LOOP-DE-LOOPS IN THE GARDEN FIRST.

Outside, the sun shines brightly. Isadora flies through the air, performing loop-de-loops.

[Isadora giggling]

Isadora cheers, WHEE!

Isadora dips toward the ground.

From nearby, Cordelia says, ISADORA?

Cordelia stands at the back door. Pink Rabbit stands by a bench close by.

Cordelia says, I THOUGHT YOU WERE GOING TO BED.

Isadora says, JUST GETTING A BIT MORE VAMPIRE FLYING PRACTICE FIRST!

Isadora flies across the backyard. She flies toward a garden, stumbles, and somersaults through the air.

Isadora yelps, WHOA!

[Banging]

[Isadora grunting]

Pink Rabbit runs after Isadora.

[Leaves rustling]

Isadora lies in a bush.

Isadora says, OOPS!

[Isadora giggling]

Cordelia flies over to Isadora with her fairy star wand.

Cordelia suggests, WHY DON'T YOU GIVE THE VAMPIRE FLYING A REST FOR THE MOMENT, AND WE COULD DO SOME CALMING FAIRY MAGIC PRACTICE INSTEAD?

Pink Rabbit helps Isadora out of the bush.

Isadora says, OR, VAMPIRE SHAPE-SHIFTING!

Pink Rabbit frowns.

Cordelia says, CLOUD SHAPING'S FUN TOO!

Cordelia waves her wand toward a cloud in the sky. Pink sparkles wrap around the cloud, and she floats it down to the garden. Cordelia waves her wand, and the cloud changes into a cat.

[Magical music briefly plays]

Isadora says, WHEN WILL I EVER NEED TO CHANGE THE SHAPE OF A CLOUD? VAMPIRE SHAPE-SHIFTING IS WAY BETTER.

Cordelia says, AH, BUT CAN VAMPIRE SHAPE-SHIFTERS DO THIS?

Cordelia waves the cat-shaped cloud over to one of her box gardens and makes it rain over the plants.

Isadora says, I DON'T WANT TO DO FAIRY MAGIC.

Cordelia frowns.

Isadora says, I ONLY WANT TO DO VAMPIRE STUFF!

[Isadora loudly yawning]

Cordelia smiles and says, TIME FOR BED, I THINK.

Isadora sighs, OH, FINE. BUT I'M WAKING UP LATER SO DAD AND I CAN GO FLYING TONIGHT.

At night, sparkles flicker around the tower that is Isadora’s bedroom. Inside, Isadora lies asleep in bed with Pink Rabbit.

[Alarm clock ringing]

Isadora wakes up with an excited smile. Pink Rabbit wakes up looking tired.

[Isadora gasping]

Isadora says, FLYING TIME! COME ON! LET'S GO AND FIND DAD!

Isadora jumps out of bed. She grabs Pink Rabbit and runs across the room. In the lounge, Boris and the other bats smile in their sleep.

Isadora says, DAD, DAD!

The bats wake up and frown.

[Bats snorting]

Isadora says, I'M READY FOR MY NIGHT FLIGHT!

Isadora drops Pink Rabbit on the chaise lounge and looks around.

Isadora says, HUH? OH, NO! DAD'S ALREADY GONE.

Isadora looks outside and frowns. Pink Rabbit shrugs and lies down.

Isadora runs over and says, WAIT!

Pink Rabbit jumps to his feet.

Isadora says, I'M AWAKE NOW. LET'S DO SOMETHING ELSE!

Pink Rabbit lies back down and closes his eyes.

A spooky voice wails, OOH!

Pink Rabbit jumps in surprise. Oscar the ghost floats through the wall toward him, and he falls.

[Isadora giggling]

Isadora says, OSCAR! YAY!

Pink Rabbit lies down and closes his eyes.

Isadora says, PINK RABBIT'S NO FUN AT NIGHT.

Pink Rabbit opens one eye and glances toward Isadora with a frown, then goes back to sleep. From above the fireplace, the bats watch Isadora.

Isadora says, OH, THE BATS ARE AWAKE! LET'S DO SOME INDOOR FORMATION FLYING!

Isadora looks around and says, NOW, WHERE'S DAD'S BAT CONDUCTOR?

Oscar says, OH, OH, I KNOW!

Oscar dives through the floor. Isadora looks surprised. Oscar pops up through the floor behind her with her star wand. Isadora jumps in surprise.

[Isadora gasping in surprise]

Oscar hands Isadora her wand.

Isadora says, GOOD IDEA, OSCAR! WE CAN USE MY WAND INSTEAD!

Isadora looks toward the bats.

Isadora says, NOW, BATS, LET'S TRY THE DIAMOND FORMATION WITH BORIS IN THE LEAD, FANGS FRONT, AND HERE WE GO.

Boris glances at the other bats and shrugs. Isadora raises her wand, and the star glows pink. The three bats fly into a triangle formation. Pink sparkles shine from Isadora’s wand. Isadora waves her wand like a conductor, and the sparkles float toward the bats. The bats fly out of the open window.

Isadora says, NO!

Isadora runs to the window.

Oscar says, UH, WAS THAT SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN?

Pink Rabbit sits up and shrugs.

Isadora says, DAD'S PRECIOUS BATS! HE LOVES THEM AND I SCARED THEM AWAY!

The bats fly away from the mansion.

Isadora asks, WHAT AM I GONNA DO?

Oscar says, MAYBE YOUR MUM COULD HELP.

Isadora says, NO! I WANT TO FIX THIS MYSELF! IT'S A VAMPIRE PROBLEM, NOT A FAIRY PROBLEM. SO, WHAT WOULD A VAMPIRE DO?

Oscar confidently says, COMB THEIR HAIR!

Isadora groans, OH!

Oscar says, NOT HELPFUL, HM?

Isadora shakes her head.

Isadora says, IT TAKES A BAT TO FIND A BAT.

[Dinging]

[Isadora gasping]

Isadora says, IF I CONCENTRATE REALLY HARD, MAYBE I CAN SHAPE-SHIFT INTO A BAT AND FIND THEM!

Oscar and Pink Rabbit share a worried look.

Isadora says, I AM HALF-VAMPIRE! I CAN DO THIS.

Isadora closes her eyes tightly.

[Isadora grunting]

A purple cloud with pink and blue sparkles wraps around Isadora.

[Magical music briefly plays]

Isadora shape-shifts into a pink and black kitten with a star on her chest.

[Isadora quietly meowing]

Isadora asks, AM I A BAT?

Oscar asks Pink Rabbit, WHO'S GOING TO TELL HER?

Pink Rabbit jumps off the chaise lounge with a hand mirror. Isadora looks in the mirror at her reflection.

[Isadora meowing with fright]

Isadora wails, NO! I HAVEN'T EVEN GOT WINGS!

Oscar says, OR OPPOSABLE THUMBS! OOH, YOU'LL PROBABLY MISS THOSE.

Isadora says, I'VE GOTTA CHANGE BACK!

Isadora closes her eyes tightly.

Isadora says, OH!

Isadora groans, OH, I CAN'T DO IT! WHAT IF I'M STUCK AS A KITTEN FOREVER?

Oscar asks, WHY DON'T YOU TRY GOING TO SLEEP? MAYBE IT'LL WEAR OFF BY THE MORNING!

Isadora asks, DO YOU THINK SO? I DON'T KNOW WHAT ELSE TO DO.

Oscar says, OH, WELL! GOODNIGHT.

Oscar leaves through the wall. Isadora leaps onto the chaise lounge. Pink Rabbit climbs up beside her.

[Isadora yawning loudly]

Isadora lies down. Pink Rabbit leans against her, and they both fall asleep.

[Gentle music plays]

Outside on a new day, the sun rises behind the mansion. In the lounge, warm sunlight shines through the window. Isadora wakes up and stretches her kitten legs.

[Isadora yawning]

Isadora looks at her paws and says, HUH?

[Gentle music abruptly ends]

Isadora jumps and squeals, MEW!

Isadora wakes up Pink Rabbit and knocks him onto the floor.

Isadora says, OH, NO! I'M STILL A KITTEN!

On the floor, Pink Rabbit frowns and rubs his side.

Isadora says, AND DAD'S BATS ARE STILL MISSING!

Isadora leaps onto the floor and says, WORST VAMPIRE DAY EVER!

Outside, Bartholomew sings, ME, ME, ME, ME!

[Suspenseful music plays]

[Isadora gasping]

Isadora says, AND IT'S ABOUT TO GET WORSE!

Outside, Bartholomew sings, IT’S ALL ABOUT ME!

Isadora says, DAD'S HOME.

Isadora and Pink Rabbit crawl under the chaise lounge. Bartholomew flies in through the window.

[Bartholomew sighing]

Bartholomew says, AH, WHAT A STUPENDOUS FLIGHT!

Oscar appears in the mirror above the fireplace. He flies out and waves his arms in front of Bartholomew.

Oscar says, GOOD MOANING, GOOD MOANING, GOOD MOANING!

Bartholomew walks toward the stairs and ducks away from Oscar.

Bartholomew says, OH, HONESTLY, OSCAR, YOU ARE FAR TOO CHEERFUL IN THE MORNINGS!

Bartholomew walks down the stairs. Oscar smiles. Isadora and Pink Rabbit crawl out from under the chaise lounge.

[Isadora giggling]

Isadora says, THANKS, OSCAR.

From downstairs, Cordelia yells, ISADORA! GOOD MORNING! COULD YOU GO AND COLLECT SOME STRAWBERRIES FOR ME FROM THE GARDEN FOR BREAKFAST?

Isadora squeals like a cat, MEW!

Isadora covers her mouth with her paw.

Isadora shouts, OKAY!

Isadora turns toward Pink Rabbit and says, LET'S GET MUM'S STRAWBERRIES, THEN THINK ABOUT THE BATS.

Isadora runs across the room with Pink Rabbit close behind. Oscar waves and leaves through the wall. In the backyard, a strawberry rolls across the grass. In the box garden, Isadora tosses Pink Rabbit strawberries. Pink Rabbit drops them in a basket. He juggles three strawberries and adds them to the basket. Pink Rabbit turns to Isadora and frowns. He points past her.

From nearby, Cordelia says, ISADORA.

[Isadora gasping]

[Cordelia quietly giggling]

Cordelia asks, IS THIS A KITTEN I SEE BEFORE ME?

Isadora says, OH, UM, I CAN EXPLAIN!

Giggling, Cordelia says, I'M LISTENING.

Cordelia walks over to the box garden.

Isadora says, I WAS TRYING TO SHAPE-SHIFT INTO A BAT, BUT I COULD ONLY DO A KITTEN, WHICH IS ACTUALLY QUITE GOOD, 'CAUSE I ONLY MANAGED WHISKERS BEFORE.

Cordelia says, I SEE.

Isadora says, THE THING IS I CAN'T SHAPE-SHIFT BACK, AND I ACCIDENTALLY SCARED DAD'S BATS AWAY. OH, I MADE SUCH A MESS OF BEING A VAMPIRE.

Isadora rests her head on the side of the garden.

Cordelia says, IT MUST BE HARD BEING A FAIRY-VAMPIRE SOMETIMES. I'M AFRAID I CAN'T HELP YOU WITH THE SHAPE-SHIFTING. THAT'S DAD'S SKILL.

Cordelia kneels and rests her hand on Isadora’s head.

Cordelia says, BUT, MAYBE I CAN HELP WITH THE BATS.

Isadora says, I LOST THE BATS, SO I'D LIKE TO BE THE ONE TO FIND THEM.

Cordelia says, WELL, YOU COULD TRY SOME FAIRY MAGIC IF YOU WANT?

Isadora says, YES, PLEASE! THANKS, MUM.

Cordelia asks, DO YOU THINK YOU CAN HOLD A WAND?

Isadora says, UH...

Isadora looks at one of her kitten paws. Later in the yard, she holds her wand with her tail and waves it around.

Cordelia says, THAT'S IT! NOW, WE NEED A NICE, DARK THUNDER CLOUD. BATS LOVE THEM. YES, POINT IT AT THE CLOUD! LIKE I SHOWED YOU YESTERDAY.

Isadora flicks her tail and waves her wand. Pink and blue sparkles shine from the wand and wrap around a cloud in the sky. Isadora floats the cloud down to the yard.

Cordelia says, YOU CAN DO IT!

Isadora spins and points her wand toward the cloud. The cloud grows bigger and darker. Lightning flashes through it.

[Thunder rolling]

Isadora says, I DID IT! ARE THE BATS COMING BACK?

Cordelia looks toward the sky. Pink Rabbit looks up and points upward. Isadora follows his line of sight.

[Bats squeaking]

[Isadora gasping]

[Celebratory music plays]

Isadora says, IT'S BORIS AND THE OTHERS!

Boris and the other two bats fly toward the backyard.

Isadora cheers, THEY'RE COMING BACK!

[Bats squeaking]

The bats hover around the dark storm cloud. They fly up to one of the castle towers.

Isadora whispers, DON'T WAKE DAD!

From inside, Bartholomew says, BORIS! WHAT TIME DO YOU CALL THIS?

Isadora cringes. Pink Rabbit covers his eyes.

Isadora says, OOPS.

[Isadora giggling]

Isadora looks at Cordelia and says, THANK YOU FOR HELPING ME WITH MY FAIRY MAGIC. I KNOW IT'S JUST AS IMPORTANT AS MY VAMPIRE SKILLS.

Cordelia says, YOU'RE WELCOME, SWEETHEART.

Cordelia picks up Isadora and says, I THINK WE'LL STILL NEED SOME HELP FROM DAD TO GET YOU BACK TO YOUR FAIRY-VAMPIRE SELF.

Inside, Bartholomew says, WELL, WHAT A PICKLE.

In the lounge, Isadora stands on the chaise lounge.

Bartholomew says, EVERYONE KNOWS THERE'S ONLY ONE THING HARDER THAN SHAPE-SHIFTING, AND THAT'S SHAPE-SHIFTING BACK AGAIN.

Boris and the other bats sleep upside down on the bookshelf above the fireplace. Isadora and Pink Rabbit frown. Cordelia smiles.

[Bartholomew chuckling]

Isadora says, DAD, IT'S NOT FUNNY! I CAN'T GO TO SCHOOL WITH WHISKERS AND A TAIL!

Bartholomew says, I KNOW, I KNOW. COME HERE, MY LITTLE VAMPIRE-FAIRY KITTEN!

Bartholomew picks up Isadora. Isadora looks annoyed.

Bartholomew says, LET'S FOCUS TOGETHER.

Isadora smiles. She and Bartholomew close their eyes.

[Isadora slowly exhaling]

[Suspenseful music plays]

Pink Rabbit and Cordelia watch closely. A purple cloud with pink and blue sparkles wraps around Isadora. Isadora shape-shifts back into her normal self.

Isadora opens her eyes and says, I'M ME AGAIN!

[Bartholomew sighing happily]

Bartholomew places Isadora on her feet.

Isadora says, I'M BACK! ISADORA MOON, HALF FAIRY, HALF VAMPIRE, TOTALLY ME!

Pink Rabbit leaps into Isadora’s arms.

Bartholomew says, WONDEROUS!

[Bartholomew chuckling]

Bartholomew asks, UM, PLEASE COULD I GO BACK TO BED NOW?

Isadora and Pink Rabbit smile.

[Upbeat music plays]
