At night, the stars and full moon shine above the Moon family’s mansion. Isadora Moon, a young half-vampire, half-fairy girl with long black hair, pointy ears, pink bat wings and vampire fangs, wears a light purple cardigan over a light pink dress with black stars.
[Upbeat music plays]
A singer sings, ISADORA MOON THE ONE AND ONLY, HERE I GO. I'M TOTALLY UNIQUE AND EXTRA-STARRY.
Isadora spins and waves her star wand.
The singer sings, WAVING MY WAND, FLYING FEARLESSLY, YEAH IT'S YOUR GIRL, ISADORA.
Isadora’s fairy mom, Cordelia, and vampire dad, Bartholomew, join Isadora. Cordelia has long, wavy pink hair, pointy ears and green wings. She wears a flower crown and a green cardigan over a pink dress. Bartholomew has short black hair and wears a black and purple cape with a striped, grey suit vest.
The singer sings, A LITTLE BIT OF BOTH. HALF A VAMPIRE, HALF A FAIRY.
Isadora flies over her neighbourhood with Pink Rabbit, a pink rabbit stuffed toy come to life.
The singer sings, READY FOR A NEW EXCITING JOURNEY!
Isadora dives into the ocean. Text reads, “Written by Stephanie Wahlstrom. Theme Song by Helen Park.”
The singer sings, SPARKLY AND EXTRAORDINARY.
Isadora swims underwater as a mermaid and transforms into a black cat. Text reads, “Series Director William Gordon. Showrunner Deborah Thorpe.”

[Light, gentle music plays]
[Birds chirping]
The episode title reads, “Double Booked.” At the Moon family’s mansion, Isadora dances across her bedroom.
Isadora says, ...AND THREE, AND FOUR!
Pink Rabbit follows Isadora’s ballet steps. Isadora waves her star wand, and Pink Rabbit spins into the air. Isadora floats Pink Rabbit over her head from one side of the room to the other.
Isadora says, YAY! SASHI'S GOING TO LOVE OUR DANCE PERFORMANCE FOR HER BIRTHDAY BASH!
Pink Rabbit nods.
From close by, Cordelia calls out, ISADORA!
Pink Rabbit frowns. Cordelia opens the door and peeks inside.
Cordelia says, PINK RABBIT! TIME TO GO TO YOUR COUSIN WILBUR'S MAGIC SHOW!
Cordelia leaves and closes the door. Isadora frowns.
[Isadora gasping]
Isadora says, I TOTALLY FORGOT ABOUT WILBUR'S SHOW!
Pink Rabbit frowns.
Isadora says, AND I FORGOT TO TELL MOM ABOUT SASHI'S BIRTHDAY PARTY TODAY!
[Suspenseful music plays]
Pink Rabbit dramatically faints.
Isadora says, I KNOW! I WANTED TO PERFORM THE DANCE TOO!
Isadora pulls Pink Rabbit to his feet.
Isadora says, BUT WE PROMISED WILBUR AGES AGO THAT WE'D BE AT HIS SHOW. I GUESS WE HAVE TO MISS SASHI'S BIRTHDAY PARTY.
Isadora looks disappointed.
Isadora says, OH, WELL! WILBUR'S MAGIC SHOW WILL STILL BE FUN. AND MIRABELLE WILL BE THERE!
Pink Rabbit covers his face with his paw.
[Isadora giggling]
Isadora says, I KNOW SHE'S NOT YOUR MOST FAVOURITE PERSON, BUT IT'LL STILL BE
FUN! COME ON!
Isadora runs out the door with Pink Rabbit. In Cordelia’s flying car, they ride in the back with Honey Blossom. Bartholomew rides in the passenger seat beside Cordelia. The car leaves a trail of pink sparkles in the sky.
[Bubbling]
In a lush forest, Cordelia lands the car outside a large castle. Inside, Isadora walks into a theatre with Pink Rabbit. On the stage, Wilbur, a boy with short, dark purple hair wearing a striped blue long-sleeved shirt, wears a green cone-shaped wizard hat with stars and a matching green cape.
Wilbur says, ISADORA, YOU CAME! I'M GLAD I SAW YOU NOW, BECAUSE I'LL BE VERY BUSY WITH MY FANS AFTER THE SHOW.
Mirabelle, a girl with long, half-black, half-green hair and walks over with a small purple pet dragon. Mirabelle wears a black long-sleeved shirt with blue stars and a sparkly black and green skirt.
Wilbur says, MIRABELLE! IS VIOLET READY FOR MY PERFORMANCE? I'M TURNING HER INTO A FROG.
Isadora and Pink Rabbit frown.
Mirabelle says, OF COURSE! VIOLET WILL BE THE STAR OF THE SHOW!
Wilbur says, HMPH! I NEED TO GO BACKSTAGE AND PREPARE.
Wilbur walks away.
Mirabelle says, COME ON! LET’S GO AND FIND OUR SEATS!
Mirabelle takes Isadora’s hand and pulls her away.
Isadora says, OKAY...
Mirabelle stops and frowns. She looks at Isadora and drops her hand.
Mirabelle asks, WHAT'S WRONG? WIZARD END OF THE YEAR SHOWS ARE SO MUCH FUN! A TEACHER ALMOST ALWAYS GETS TURNED INTO A TOAD BY ACCIDENT.
[Isadora giggling]
Isadora says, OH, I CAN'T WAIT FOR THAT. BUT, IT'S ALSO SASHI'S BIRTHDAY PARTY TODAY. AND I CAN'T BE IN TWO PLACES AT ONCE, SO I HAD TO MISS IT.
Mirabelle says, IS THAT ALL?! ISADORA, I'M A WITCH. THERE'S A SPELL TO FIX EVERYTHING!
Mirabelle pulls out a miniature cauldron. Pink Rabbit covers his face with his paw. Isadora looks uncertain. She takes the cauldron from Mirabelle. Mirabelle pulls out a bag.
Isadora asks, EVEN THIS?
Mirabelle says, ESPECIALLY THIS! YOU DON'T HAVE TO PICK ONE THING, YOU CAN DO BOTH! ALL WE NEED IS SOME...
Mirabelle looks in her bag. She pulls out a blue pencil and frowns.
Mirabelle says, ...NOPE, NOT THAT.
Mirabelle tosses the pencil aside and pulls a toad out of the bag.
Mirabelle says, OH, THAT'S WHERE IT WENT!
The toad hops off Mirabelle’s hand onto the floor.
[Toad croaking]
The toad hops away.
[Toad croaking]
Isadora frowns.
Mirabelle says, AH! HERE WE GO!
Mirabelle pulls three vials out of her bag.
Mirabelle says, A TOUCH OF DRAGON WHISPER.
Mirabelle pours a drop of Dragon Whisper from a vial into the cauldron, and a blue foam rises.
[Faint whispering]
[Bubbling]
Mirabelle says, A SPRINKLE OF SPIDEY GIGGLES.
Mirabella adds a drop of Spidey Giggles to the cauldron, and green bubbles billow.
[Faint giggling]
Mirabelle says, AND A SMIDGE OF FROG SNEEZE.
Mirabelle adds a drop of Frog Sneeze to the cauldron, and wispy white smoke floats out.
[Faint sneezing]
Mirabelle takes the cauldron from Isadora.
Mirabelle says, IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE TOAD SNEEZE, BUT FROG SNEEZE IS CLOSE ENOUGH!
Mirabelle holds up the cauldron. Green smoke billows out.
Mirabelle says, TA-DAH! A HOP-TO-IT POTION. JUST A TEENY-TINY SPRINKLE OF THIS WILL LET YOU HOP FROM ONE EVENT TO THE OTHER.
Isadora says, UH, I DON'T KNOW, MIRABELLE. ARE YOU SURE THIS WILL WORK?
Mirabelle says, PISH-POSH, WATERMELON SQUASH. OF COURSE IT'LL WORK! BESIDES, YOU AREN'T DOING ANYTHING WRONG, YOU'RE JUST TRYING TO MAKE EVERYONE HAPPY! IT'S NOT YOUR FAULT THAT WILBUR'S SHOW AND SASHI'S BIRTHDAY ARE ON THE SAME DAY.
Mirabelle takes a sample of her potion out of the cauldron with a dropper. She gives the dropper to Isadora, and Isadora smiles.
Isadora says, COME ON, PINK RABBIT! WE COULD USE IT JUST ONCE, SO WE'D GET TO DO OUR DANCE.
Mirabelle says, OKAY, REMEMBER, YOU JUST NEED ONE TEENY-TINY DROP, AND IT WILL WHISK YOU AWAY TO WHEREVER YOU SAY. JUST BE BACK BEFORE THE SHOW STARTS!
Isadora squeezes a drop of potion onto herself and Pink Rabbit.
Isadora says, TAKE ME TO SASHI, FOR HER BIRTHDAY BASH-IE!
[Magical music plays]
Isadora and Pink teleport to Sashi’s living room. By the window, Isadora stands up behind the couch with Pink Rabbit on her head. They both look dizzy.
Isadora says, WHOA!
Isadora and Pink Rabbit shake their heads. Isadora walks out from behind the couch. She meets Sashi, J.J., Oliver and Zoe on a rug in front of a fireplace. Sashi holds a wrapped gift.
Isadora waves and says, OOH, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SASHI!
Sashi says, OH, ISADORA, PINK RABBIT! I WAS BEGINNING TO THINK YOU COULDN'T COME.
Isadora says, ERM, WELL, WE JUST DROPPED IN.
[Isadora gasping]
Isadora adds, AND WE HAVE A SPECIAL BIRTHDAY PERFORMANCE FOR YOU!
Sashi says, OOH! THAT SOUNDS GREAT! CAN WE DO IT RIGHT AFTER WE PLAY PASS THE PARCEL?
J.J. cheers, YAY!
[Others giggling]
Oliver cheers, YEAH!
J.J. says, COME ON!
Everyone sits in a circle on the rug.
[Upbeat radio music plays]
[Giggling]
Sashi says, OOH!
Everyone sways to the music.
Sashi says, GO ON!
Sashi passes the gift, the parcel, to Zoe on her left.
Oliver says, COME ON, COME ON!
[Giggling]
Zoe passes the gift to Oliver. Oliver passes it to J.J., and J.J. passes it to Isadora.
[Isadora giggling]
Isadora passes the gift to Pink Rabbit.
[Music stops]
[Isadora gasping]
Isadora says, IT'S YOURS, PINK RABBIT!
Pink Rabbit shakes the gift and tears off a layer of wrapping paper.
[Paper shredding]
Pink Rabbit holds up the first layer of wrapping paper.
[Isadora gasping]
Isadora whispers, PINK RABBIT! TIME TO GO!
Isadora squeezes a drop of potion on her and Pink Rabbit’s heads. They hide behind the wrapping paper.
Isadora says, WILBUR'S SHOW, GO, GO, GO!
Isadora and Pink Rabbit disappear, and the wrapping paper falls.
Sashi says, PINK RABBIT! OH.
Sashi picks up the wrapping paper.
Sashi says, WHERE DID THEY GO?
J.J. says, WHOA! I THINK THERE'S MAGIC GOING ON HERE.
Isadora and Pink Rabbit reappear backstage in the theatre with the pass-the-parcel gift. Wilbur turns around and frowns at them.
Wilbur whispers, WHAT ARE YOU DOING BACKSTAGE?! YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO BE IN THE FRONT ROW!
Isadora says, I, UM…
Mirabelle walks over and says, ISADORA BROUGHT YOU A SURPRISE PRESENT FOR AFTER THE SHOW!
Wilbur says, OH! THANK YOU.
Wilbur reaches for the gift. Isadora pulls it away.
Isadora says, SORRY, WILBUR! YOU CAN'T HAVE IT YET.
Wilbur says, OKAY, I'LL GET IT LATER THEN. COME ON, MIRABELLE. I NEED YOUR HELP SETTING UP MY ACT.
Wilbur walks away with Mirabelle. Violet, Mirabelle’s purple pet dragon, lingers behind and sniffs Pink Rabbit. Pink Rabbit frowns.
[Violet purring]
Isadora says, PHEW! THAT WAS CLOSE. WE STILL HAVE TIME TO PERFORM WITH SASHI, AND THEN GET BACK HERE BEFORE HE STARTS.
Isadora holds up the potion dropper and says, TAKE ME TO SASHI, FOR HER BIRTHDAY BASH-IE!
Isadora squeezes a drop of potion on her head. She swings the dropper and splashes Pink Rabbit and Violet with potion.
[Isadora gasping]
Isadora says, VIOLET!
[Whooshing]
Violet teleports to Sashi’s living room.
From behind the couch, Isadora says, OUCH!
Isadora steps out from behind the couch with Pink Rabbit and glances toward Violet flying over Sashi, Zoe, J.J. and Oliver.
[Isadora gasping]
Isadora says, UH, HI AGAIN! ERM, EXCUSE US!
Isadora holds onto Pink Rabbit and flies over Sashi. She drops the pass-the-parcel gift in Sashi’s lap and follows Violet into the kitchen. In the kitchen, Sashi’s orange cat sleeps on a counter beside a fruit bowl, a juice jug, a birthday cake and a fruit tray. Violet flies up to the counter and sniffs the cat. The cat wakes and jumps to its feet.
[Cat meowing]
The cat leaps off the counter. Violet follows it. Isadora lands by the counter and drops Pink Rabbit on his feet. She spots Violet chasing the cat.
[Isadora gasping]
The cat leaps onto the counter.
[Cat meowing]
Isadora blocks Violet and says, HERE, VIOLET! BACK TO WILBUR'S SHOW.
Isadora pulls out the potion dropper and says, GO, GO, GO!
The cat swats the dropper out of Isadora’s hand.
[Cat meowing]
Isadora wails, WHOA!
Potion drips on Isadora, Pink Rabbit and the cat. Isadora catches the dropper.
Isadora says OH NO!
Isadora, Pink Rabbit and the cat teleport to the theatre backstage. Wilbur looks surprised.
Isadora and Pink Rabbit fall on the floor. Wilbur catches the cat as it falls.
[Cat meowing]
Wilbur says, A CAT! PERFECT. I COULDN'T FIND VIOLET FOR MY GRAND FINALE, BUT I'M SURE I CAN TURN A CAT INTO A FROG JUST AS EASILY AS A DRAGON.
Isadora and Pink Rabbit share a look.
[Cat mewing]
The cat wiggles in Wilbur’s grasp and swats at him.
[Wilbur grunting]
Wilbur’s hat falls off, and Isadora takes the cat from him.
[Wilbur grunting]
[Wilbur groaning]
[Isadora giggling]
Isadora squeezes drops of potion on her and Pink Rabbit.
Isadora says, BACK TO SASHI'S BIRTHDAY BASH-IE.
Isadora disappears with the cat in her arms and Pink Rabbit.
[Wilbur sighing in frustration]
Isadora, Pink Rabbit and the cat reappear in Sashi’s kitchen.
[Isadora gasping]
J.J. runs through the kitchen.
J.J. waves and says, HI, ISADORA!
The cat follows J.J.
Isadora grabs Pink Rabbit and says, COME ON!
Isadora follows J.J. and the cat into the backyard with Pink Rabbit. In the yard, Sashi, Oliver and Zoe watch Violet bounce around a bouncy castle. They turn as J.J. runs into the castle. Isadora flies in after him and bounces off a wall with the potion dropper.
Isadora yelps, WHOA-OA!
Isadora drops the potion dropper. Potion rains down across the bouncy castle over Isadora, Pink Rabbit, Violet, and J.J. Isadora falls. Pink Rabbit lands on her head. They both look tired.
Isadora sighs, OH WELL. BACK TO WILBUR'S SHOW, GO, GO, GO!
The entire bouncy castle disappears with Isadora, Pink Rabbit, J.J. and Violet inside. It reappears on the theatre stage behind the curtains. Violet lies on J.J.’s head.
Wilbur runs up and says, WHOA!
Mirabelle closely follows Wilbur.
Mirabelle says, I THINK YOU USED TOO MUCH POTION.
J.J. says, UH... DRAGON?
Isadora nods and says, MMM-HMM. WAY TOO MUCH.
J.J. says, HELLO! DRAGON!
Wilbur says, I'M SUPPOSED TO START ANY MINUTE, AND THERE'S A CASTLE ON STAGE? HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO INCLUDE A CASTLE IN MY ACT?
J.J. demands, DOES ANYONE ELSE SEE THE DRAGON?!
Mirabelle says, THAT'S MY PET DRAGON, VIOLET.
Violet flies over to Mirabelle. Mirabelle scratches Violet’s chin.
[Violet purring]
J.J. says, OH. COOL.
J.J., Isadora and Pink Rabbit stand up in the bouncy castle.
J.J. says, I KNEW YOU WERE DOING MAGIC AT SASHI'S PARTY.
[Isadora sighing tiredly]
Isadora takes Pink Rabbit’s paw and flies out of the bouncy castle.
Isadora says, HOW DID THIS HAPPEN?
Mirabelle says, YOU NEEDED TO BE IN TWO PLACES AT ONCE, SO I MADE A REALLY AMAZING POTION.
Isadora says, THIS WHOLE MESS HAS GOT OUT OF CONTROL BECAUSE I WAS TRYING TO DO TWO THINGS AT ONCE. BASICALLY, I RUINED SASHI'S PARTY AND WILBUR'S SHOW.
Mirabelle says, WE AREN'T OUT OF TIME YET. WE CAN FIX THIS! I'M SURE I KNOW A POTION FOR –
Isadora interrupts and says, NO! I DON'T WANT TO PLAY WITH ANYMORE POTIONS UNTIL I KNOW I CAN GET J.J. BACK TO SASHI'S BIRTHDAY PARTY SAFELY.
An announcer says, NEXT UP, FOR OUR GRAND FINALE, WILBUR STARSPELL.
Isadora and Mirabell share a look of worry. The curtains open, revealing Wilbur, J.J., Mirabell, Isadora, Violet, Pink Rabbit and the bouncy castle facing a large audience. Violet bounces in the castle.
[Applause]
Cordelia and Bartholomew sit in the audience with Honey Blossom in Cordelia’s lap.
Bartholomew says, WONDEROUS!
Cordelia says, OH, YAY!
[Applause]
Wilbur whispers to J.J., HEY, WANT TO BE IN MY SHOW?
J.J. says, YEAH, OF COURSE I DO.
J.J. and Wilbur fist-bump. Wilbur pulls out a staff with a green ball and steps forward. J.J. waves.
Wilbur says, WELCOME! PREPARE TO BE AMAZED, AS I TURN A MEAN OLD PRINCE INTO A FROG, BEFORE HE SLAYS THIS HARMLESS DRAGON.
[Applause]
J.J. says, YOU'RE GOING TO TURN ME INTO A WHAT?!
Wilbur says, COME ON. BEING A FROG WILL BE FUN!
[Applause]
J.J. looks worried. Isadora takes his hand.
Isadora quietly says, WE'LL DO THIS TOGETHER.
J.J. smiles and says, OKAY.
Isadora announces, IN FACT, WILBUR'S GOING TO TURN ALL OF US DRAGON SLAYERS INTO FROGS!
Pink Rabbit looks scared.
Wilbur says, UM, YES, OF COURSE. I WILL TURN EVERYONE HERE INTO A FROG! NO CATS OR DOGS, LET'S TURN MY FRIENDS INTO FROGS!
Wilbur points his staff toward J.J., Isadora, Pink Rabbit and Mirabell, and the ball on the staff lights up. Swirling streams of green and blue light create a green cloud around J.J., Isadora, Pink Rabbit and Mirabell.
[Whooshing]
J.J., Isadora, Pink Rabbit and Mirabell turn into frogs.
[Croaking]
[Cordelia laughing]
[Applause]
Wilbur waves to the audience.
Wilbur says, NOW FOR THE EASY PART. I'LL CHANGE THEM BACK. TO AND FRO, BACK TO NORMAL, MY FRIENDS GO!
Wilbur points his staff toward J.J., Isadora, Pink Rabbit and Mirabell and blasts them with swirling green and blue streams of light. Isadora, Pink Rabbit and Mirabelle turn back to their normal selves. J.J. remains a frog.
[J.J. croaking]
As a frog, J.J. glances toward Wilbur and frowns.
[Applause]
[Cordelia laughing]
[Bartholomew chuckling]
[Cheering]
[Wilbur giggling nervously]
Wilbur says, OH YES, I MEANT TO DO THAT. TO AND FRO, BACK TO NORMAL, MY FRIENDS GO!
Wilbur blasts J.J. with green and blue streams of light and turns him back to his normal self. J.J. smiles. J.J., Isadora, Pink Rabbit and Mirabelle wave.
[Cordelia laughing]
Cordelia says, WONDERFUL, WILBUR!
[Applause]
[Audience cheering]
Wilbur says, THANK YOU! THANK YOU!
Wilbur, J.J., Isadora, Pink Rabbit and Mirabelle bow. Violet continues bouncing in the bouncy castle. The curtains close. Later, backstage, Cordelia and a woman with a streak of green in her chin-length, teal hair, wearing a teal dress, stand with J.J., Isadora, Pink Rabbit, Mirabelle, and Wilbur. Mirabelle holds Violet.
Isadora explains, AND THEN, THE CASTLE CAME WITH US, BY ACCIDENT.
The teal-haired woman says, MIRABELLE, TOAD SNEEZE AND FROG SNEEZE ARE NOT THE SAME THING! SHORTCUTS LEAD TO LONG MENDS.
A wand with a green ball on the tip appears in the teal-haired woman’s hand.
The teal-haired woman says, OKAY, NOT TO WORRY. I'LL SEND J.J. BACK TO THE PARTY.
Isadora says, ERM, MOM, I KNOW I WASN'T SUPPOSED TO HOP BETWEEN EVENTS, AND I SHOULD'VE TOLD YOU ABOUT SASHI'S BIRTHDAY PARTY, BUT, CAN I GO BACK WITH J.J.? I WANT TO APOLOGIZE TO SASHI FOR, WELL, EVERYTHING.
Cordelia says, OH, GOOD CHOICE ISADORA! I'LL COME BY LATER TO PICK YOU UP.
Isadora says, THANKS, MOM!
Isadora hugs Cordelia. She joins J.J. and Pink Rabbit by the bouncy castle. Cordelia takes a step back. The teal-haired woman waves her wand and sends J.J., Isadora, Pink Rabbit and the bouncy castle back to Sashi’s now-empty backyard.
[Magical music briefly plays]
Isadora says, OH NO! WE'RE TOO LATE!
Isadora looks around the empty yard.
Isadora says, THE PARTY'S OVER. I'M SORRY, J.J.
J.J. smiles and says, IT'S OKAY.
Sashi runs across the yard and says, HI, ISADORA!
J.J. says, SASHI! ISADORA MAGICKED ME TO A WIZARD SCHOOL END OF THE YEAR SHOW! AND I GOT TURNED INTO A FROG!
Sashi says, WOW!
Isadora says, I'M REALLY SORRY, SASHI. I DOUBLE-BOOKED MYSELF, AND INSTEAD OF TELLING YOU, I TRIED TO DO BOTH THINGS AT ONCE. AND ENDED UP NOT REALLY DOING EITHER.
Sashi says, THAT'S OKAY! MY BIRTHDAY BASH HAD A REAL DRAGON AT IT, WHICH WAS REALLY COOL. AND A WIZARD SCHOOL END OF YEAR SHOW DOES SOUND LIKE A LOT OF FUN TOO.
Isadora asks, HOW CAN I MAKE IT UP TO YOU?
Sashi says, OH! MAYBE YOU AND PINK RABBIT CAN DO THAT SPECIAL PERFORMANCE FOR ME AND J.J.
[Isadora gasping]
Isadora and Pink Rabbit look excited.
[Gentle music plays]
Isadora and Pink Rabbit perform their dance. They tiptoe and leap across the yard.
[J.J. gasping]
[Sashi giggling]
Isadora waves her wand, and Pink Rabbit spins into the air.
J.J. says, WHOA!
Isadora floats Pink Rabbit over her head and lowers him back onto the ground.
Sashi says, I LOVE IT!
[Sashi giggling]
Isadora smiles.
[Upbeat music plays]

Isadora’s fairy mom, Cordelia, and vampire dad, Bartholomew, join Isadora. Cordelia has long, wavy pink hair, pointy ears and green wings. She wears a flower crown and a green cardigan over a pink dress. Bartholomew has short black hair and wears a black and purple cape with a striped, grey suit vest.

Pink Rabbit nods.
From close by, Cordelia calls out, ISADORA!
Pink Rabbit frowns. Cordelia opens the door and peeks inside.
Cordelia says, PINK RABBIT! TIME TO GO TO YOUR COUSIN WILBUR'S MAGIC SHOW!
Cordelia leaves and closes the door. Isadora frowns.
[Isadora gasping]
Isadora says, I TOTALLY FORGOT ABOUT WILBUR'S SHOW!
Pink Rabbit frowns.
Isadora says, AND I FORGOT TO TELL MOM ABOUT SASHI'S BIRTHDAY PARTY TODAY!
[Suspenseful music plays]
Pink Rabbit dramatically faints.
Isadora says, I KNOW! I WANTED TO PERFORM THE DANCE TOO!
Isadora pulls Pink Rabbit to his feet.
Isadora says, BUT WE PROMISED WILBUR AGES AGO THAT WE'D BE AT HIS SHOW. I GUESS WE HAVE TO MISS SASHI'S BIRTHDAY PARTY.
Isadora looks disappointed.
Isadora says, OH, WELL! WILBUR'S MAGIC SHOW WILL STILL BE FUN. AND MIRABELLE WILL BE THERE!
Pink Rabbit covers his face with his paw.
[Isadora giggling]
Isadora says, I KNOW SHE'S NOT YOUR MOST FAVOURITE PERSON, BUT IT'LL STILL BE
FUN! COME ON!
Isadora runs out the door with Pink Rabbit. In Cordelia’s flying car, they ride in the back with Honey Blossom. Bartholomew rides in the passenger seat beside Cordelia. The car leaves a trail of pink sparkles in the sky.
[Bubbling]
In a lush forest, Cordelia lands the car outside a large castle. Inside, Isadora walks into a theatre with Pink Rabbit. On the stage, Wilbur, a boy with short, dark purple hair wearing a striped blue long-sleeved shirt, wears a green cone-shaped wizard hat with stars and a matching green cape.
Wilbur says, ISADORA, YOU CAME! I'M GLAD I SAW YOU NOW, BECAUSE I'LL BE VERY BUSY WITH MY FANS AFTER THE SHOW.
Mirabelle, a girl with long, half-black, half-green hair and walks over with a small purple pet dragon. Mirabelle wears a black long-sleeved shirt with blue stars and a sparkly black and green skirt.
Wilbur says, MIRABELLE! IS VIOLET READY FOR MY PERFORMANCE? I'M TURNING HER INTO A FROG.
Isadora and Pink Rabbit frown.
Mirabelle says, OF COURSE! VIOLET WILL BE THE STAR OF THE SHOW!
Wilbur says, HMPH! I NEED TO GO BACKSTAGE AND PREPARE.
Wilbur walks away.
Mirabelle says, COME ON! LET’S GO AND FIND OUR SEATS!
Mirabelle takes Isadora’s hand and pulls her away.
Isadora says, OKAY...
Mirabelle stops and frowns. She looks at Isadora and drops her hand.
Mirabelle asks, WHAT'S WRONG? WIZARD END OF THE YEAR SHOWS ARE SO MUCH FUN! A TEACHER ALMOST ALWAYS GETS TURNED INTO A TOAD BY ACCIDENT.
[Isadora giggling]
Isadora says, OH, I CAN'T WAIT FOR THAT. BUT, IT'S ALSO SASHI'S BIRTHDAY PARTY TODAY. AND I CAN'T BE IN TWO PLACES AT ONCE, SO I HAD TO MISS IT.
Mirabelle says, IS THAT ALL?! ISADORA, I'M A WITCH. THERE'S A SPELL TO FIX EVERYTHING!
Mirabelle pulls out a miniature cauldron. Pink Rabbit covers his face with his paw. Isadora looks uncertain. She takes the cauldron from Mirabelle. Mirabelle pulls out a bag.
Isadora asks, EVEN THIS?
Mirabelle says, ESPECIALLY THIS! YOU DON'T HAVE TO PICK ONE THING, YOU CAN DO BOTH! ALL WE NEED IS SOME...
Mirabelle looks in her bag. She pulls out a blue pencil and frowns.
Mirabelle says, ...NOPE, NOT THAT.
Mirabelle tosses the pencil aside and pulls a toad out of the bag.
Mirabelle says, OH, THAT'S WHERE IT WENT!
The toad hops off Mirabelle’s hand onto the floor.
[Toad croaking]
The toad hops away.
[Toad croaking]
Isadora frowns.
Mirabelle says, AH! HERE WE GO!
Mirabelle pulls three vials out of her bag.
Mirabelle says, A TOUCH OF DRAGON WHISPER.
Mirabelle pours a drop of Dragon Whisper from a vial into the cauldron, and a blue foam rises.
[Faint whispering]
[Bubbling]
Mirabelle says, A SPRINKLE OF SPIDEY GIGGLES.
Mirabella adds a drop of Spidey Giggles to the cauldron, and green bubbles billow.
[Faint giggling]
Mirabelle says, AND A SMIDGE OF FROG SNEEZE.
Mirabelle adds a drop of Frog Sneeze to the cauldron, and wispy white smoke floats out.
[Faint sneezing]
Mirabelle takes the cauldron from Isadora.
Mirabelle says, IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE TOAD SNEEZE, BUT FROG SNEEZE IS CLOSE ENOUGH!
Mirabelle holds up the cauldron. Green smoke billows out.
Mirabelle says, TA-DAH! A HOP-TO-IT POTION. JUST A TEENY-TINY SPRINKLE OF THIS WILL LET YOU HOP FROM ONE EVENT TO THE OTHER.
Isadora says, UH, I DON'T KNOW, MIRABELLE. ARE YOU SURE THIS WILL WORK?
Mirabelle says, PISH-POSH, WATERMELON SQUASH. OF COURSE IT'LL WORK! BESIDES, YOU AREN'T DOING ANYTHING WRONG, YOU'RE JUST TRYING TO MAKE EVERYONE HAPPY! IT'S NOT YOUR FAULT THAT WILBUR'S SHOW AND SASHI'S BIRTHDAY ARE ON THE SAME DAY.
Mirabelle takes a sample of her potion out of the cauldron with a dropper. She gives the dropper to Isadora, and Isadora smiles.
Isadora says, COME ON, PINK RABBIT! WE COULD USE IT JUST ONCE, SO WE'D GET TO DO OUR DANCE.
Mirabelle says, OKAY, REMEMBER, YOU JUST NEED ONE TEENY-TINY DROP, AND IT WILL WHISK YOU AWAY TO WHEREVER YOU SAY. JUST BE BACK BEFORE THE SHOW STARTS!
Isadora squeezes a drop of potion onto herself and Pink Rabbit.
Isadora says, TAKE ME TO SASHI, FOR HER BIRTHDAY BASH-IE!
[Magical music plays]
Isadora and Pink teleport to Sashi’s living room. By the window, Isadora stands up behind the couch with Pink Rabbit on her head. They both look dizzy.
Isadora says, WHOA!
Isadora and Pink Rabbit shake their heads. Isadora walks out from behind the couch. She meets Sashi, J.J., Oliver and Zoe on a rug in front of a fireplace. Sashi holds a wrapped gift.
Isadora waves and says, OOH, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SASHI!
Sashi says, OH, ISADORA, PINK RABBIT! I WAS BEGINNING TO THINK YOU COULDN'T COME.
Isadora says, ERM, WELL, WE JUST DROPPED IN.
[Isadora gasping]
Isadora adds, AND WE HAVE A SPECIAL BIRTHDAY PERFORMANCE FOR YOU!
Sashi says, OOH! THAT SOUNDS GREAT! CAN WE DO IT RIGHT AFTER WE PLAY PASS THE PARCEL?
J.J. cheers, YAY!
[Others giggling]
Oliver cheers, YEAH!
J.J. says, COME ON!
Everyone sits in a circle on the rug.
[Upbeat radio music plays]
[Giggling]
Sashi says, OOH!
Everyone sways to the music.
Sashi says, GO ON!
Sashi passes the gift, the parcel, to Zoe on her left.
Oliver says, COME ON, COME ON!
[Giggling]
Zoe passes the gift to Oliver. Oliver passes it to J.J., and J.J. passes it to Isadora.
[Isadora giggling]
Isadora passes the gift to Pink Rabbit.
[Music stops]
[Isadora gasping]
Isadora says, IT'S YOURS, PINK RABBIT!
Pink Rabbit shakes the gift and tears off a layer of wrapping paper.
[Paper shredding]
Pink Rabbit holds up the first layer of wrapping paper.
[Isadora gasping]
Isadora whispers, PINK RABBIT! TIME TO GO!
Isadora squeezes a drop of potion on her and Pink Rabbit’s heads. They hide behind the wrapping paper.
Isadora says, WILBUR'S SHOW, GO, GO, GO!
Isadora and Pink Rabbit disappear, and the wrapping paper falls.
Sashi says, PINK RABBIT! OH.
Sashi picks up the wrapping paper.
Sashi says, WHERE DID THEY GO?
J.J. says, WHOA! I THINK THERE'S MAGIC GOING ON HERE.
Isadora and Pink Rabbit reappear backstage in the theatre with the pass-the-parcel gift. Wilbur turns around and frowns at them.
Wilbur whispers, WHAT ARE YOU DOING BACKSTAGE?! YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO BE IN THE FRONT ROW!
Isadora says, I, UM…
Mirabelle walks over and says, ISADORA BROUGHT YOU A SURPRISE PRESENT FOR AFTER THE SHOW!
Wilbur says, OH! THANK YOU.
Wilbur reaches for the gift. Isadora pulls it away.
Isadora says, SORRY, WILBUR! YOU CAN'T HAVE IT YET.
Wilbur says, OKAY, I'LL GET IT LATER THEN. COME ON, MIRABELLE. I NEED YOUR HELP SETTING UP MY ACT.
Wilbur walks away with Mirabelle. Violet, Mirabelle’s purple pet dragon, lingers behind and sniffs Pink Rabbit. Pink Rabbit frowns.
[Violet purring]
Isadora says, PHEW! THAT WAS CLOSE. WE STILL HAVE TIME TO PERFORM WITH SASHI, AND THEN GET BACK HERE BEFORE HE STARTS.
Isadora holds up the potion dropper and says, TAKE ME TO SASHI, FOR HER BIRTHDAY BASH-IE!
Isadora squeezes a drop of potion on her head. She swings the dropper and splashes Pink Rabbit and Violet with potion.
[Isadora gasping]
Isadora says, VIOLET!
[Whooshing]
Violet teleports to Sashi’s living room.
From behind the couch, Isadora says, OUCH!
Isadora steps out from behind the couch with Pink Rabbit and glances toward Violet flying over Sashi, Zoe, J.J. and Oliver.
[Isadora gasping]
Isadora says, UH, HI AGAIN! ERM, EXCUSE US!
Isadora holds onto Pink Rabbit and flies over Sashi. She drops the pass-the-parcel gift in Sashi’s lap and follows Violet into the kitchen. In the kitchen, Sashi’s orange cat sleeps on a counter beside a fruit bowl, a juice jug, a birthday cake and a fruit tray. Violet flies up to the counter and sniffs the cat. The cat wakes and jumps to its feet.
[Cat meowing]
The cat leaps off the counter. Violet follows it. Isadora lands by the counter and drops Pink Rabbit on his feet. She spots Violet chasing the cat.
[Isadora gasping]
The cat leaps onto the counter.
[Cat meowing]
Isadora blocks Violet and says, HERE, VIOLET! BACK TO WILBUR'S SHOW.
Isadora pulls out the potion dropper and says, GO, GO, GO!
The cat swats the dropper out of Isadora’s hand.
[Cat meowing]
Isadora wails, WHOA!
Potion drips on Isadora, Pink Rabbit and the cat. Isadora catches the dropper.
Isadora says OH NO!
Isadora, Pink Rabbit and the cat teleport to the theatre backstage. Wilbur looks surprised.
Isadora and Pink Rabbit fall on the floor. Wilbur catches the cat as it falls.
[Cat meowing]
Wilbur says, A CAT! PERFECT. I COULDN'T FIND VIOLET FOR MY GRAND FINALE, BUT I'M SURE I CAN TURN A CAT INTO A FROG JUST AS EASILY AS A DRAGON.
Isadora and Pink Rabbit share a look.
[Cat mewing]
The cat wiggles in Wilbur’s grasp and swats at him.
[Wilbur grunting]
Wilbur’s hat falls off, and Isadora takes the cat from him.
[Wilbur grunting]
[Wilbur groaning]
[Isadora giggling]
Isadora squeezes drops of potion on her and Pink Rabbit.
Isadora says, BACK TO SASHI'S BIRTHDAY BASH-IE.
Isadora disappears with the cat in her arms and Pink Rabbit.
[Wilbur sighing in frustration]
Isadora, Pink Rabbit and the cat reappear in Sashi’s kitchen.
[Isadora gasping]
J.J. runs through the kitchen.
J.J. waves and says, HI, ISADORA!
The cat follows J.J.
Isadora grabs Pink Rabbit and says, COME ON!
Isadora follows J.J. and the cat into the backyard with Pink Rabbit. In the yard, Sashi, Oliver and Zoe watch Violet bounce around a bouncy castle. They turn as J.J. runs into the castle. Isadora flies in after him and bounces off a wall with the potion dropper.
Isadora yelps, WHOA-OA!
Isadora drops the potion dropper. Potion rains down across the bouncy castle over Isadora, Pink Rabbit, Violet, and J.J. Isadora falls. Pink Rabbit lands on her head. They both look tired.
Isadora sighs, OH WELL. BACK TO WILBUR'S SHOW, GO, GO, GO!
The entire bouncy castle disappears with Isadora, Pink Rabbit, J.J. and Violet inside. It reappears on the theatre stage behind the curtains. Violet lies on J.J.’s head.
Wilbur runs up and says, WHOA!
Mirabelle closely follows Wilbur.
Mirabelle says, I THINK YOU USED TOO MUCH POTION.
J.J. says, UH... DRAGON?
Isadora nods and says, MMM-HMM. WAY TOO MUCH.
J.J. says, HELLO! DRAGON!
Wilbur says, I'M SUPPOSED TO START ANY MINUTE, AND THERE'S A CASTLE ON STAGE? HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO INCLUDE A CASTLE IN MY ACT?
J.J. demands, DOES ANYONE ELSE SEE THE DRAGON?!
Mirabelle says, THAT'S MY PET DRAGON, VIOLET.
Violet flies over to Mirabelle. Mirabelle scratches Violet’s chin.
[Violet purring]
J.J. says, OH. COOL.
J.J., Isadora and Pink Rabbit stand up in the bouncy castle.
J.J. says, I KNEW YOU WERE DOING MAGIC AT SASHI'S PARTY.
[Isadora sighing tiredly]
Isadora takes Pink Rabbit’s paw and flies out of the bouncy castle.
Isadora says, HOW DID THIS HAPPEN?
Mirabelle says, YOU NEEDED TO BE IN TWO PLACES AT ONCE, SO I MADE A REALLY AMAZING POTION.
Isadora says, THIS WHOLE MESS HAS GOT OUT OF CONTROL BECAUSE I WAS TRYING TO DO TWO THINGS AT ONCE. BASICALLY, I RUINED SASHI'S PARTY AND WILBUR'S SHOW.
Mirabelle says, WE AREN'T OUT OF TIME YET. WE CAN FIX THIS! I'M SURE I KNOW A POTION FOR –
Isadora interrupts and says, NO! I DON'T WANT TO PLAY WITH ANYMORE POTIONS UNTIL I KNOW I CAN GET J.J. BACK TO SASHI'S BIRTHDAY PARTY SAFELY.
An announcer says, NEXT UP, FOR OUR GRAND FINALE, WILBUR STARSPELL.
Isadora and Mirabell share a look of worry. The curtains open, revealing Wilbur, J.J., Mirabell, Isadora, Violet, Pink Rabbit and the bouncy castle facing a large audience. Violet bounces in the castle.
[Applause]
Cordelia and Bartholomew sit in the audience with Honey Blossom in Cordelia’s lap.
Bartholomew says, WONDEROUS!
Cordelia says, OH, YAY!
[Applause]
Wilbur whispers to J.J., HEY, WANT TO BE IN MY SHOW?
J.J. says, YEAH, OF COURSE I DO.
J.J. and Wilbur fist-bump. Wilbur pulls out a staff with a green ball and steps forward. J.J. waves.
Wilbur says, WELCOME! PREPARE TO BE AMAZED, AS I TURN A MEAN OLD PRINCE INTO A FROG, BEFORE HE SLAYS THIS HARMLESS DRAGON.
[Applause]
J.J. says, YOU'RE GOING TO TURN ME INTO A WHAT?!
Wilbur says, COME ON. BEING A FROG WILL BE FUN!
[Applause]
J.J. looks worried. Isadora takes his hand.
Isadora quietly says, WE'LL DO THIS TOGETHER.
J.J. smiles and says, OKAY.
Isadora announces, IN FACT, WILBUR'S GOING TO TURN ALL OF US DRAGON SLAYERS INTO FROGS!
Pink Rabbit looks scared.
Wilbur says, UM, YES, OF COURSE. I WILL TURN EVERYONE HERE INTO A FROG! NO CATS OR DOGS, LET'S TURN MY FRIENDS INTO FROGS!
Wilbur points his staff toward J.J., Isadora, Pink Rabbit and Mirabell, and the ball on the staff lights up. Swirling streams of green and blue light create a green cloud around J.J., Isadora, Pink Rabbit and Mirabell.
[Whooshing]
J.J., Isadora, Pink Rabbit and Mirabell turn into frogs.
[Croaking]
[Cordelia laughing]
[Applause]
Wilbur waves to the audience.
Wilbur says, NOW FOR THE EASY PART. I'LL CHANGE THEM BACK. TO AND FRO, BACK TO NORMAL, MY FRIENDS GO!
Wilbur points his staff toward J.J., Isadora, Pink Rabbit and Mirabell and blasts them with swirling green and blue streams of light. Isadora, Pink Rabbit and Mirabelle turn back to their normal selves. J.J. remains a frog.
[J.J. croaking]
As a frog, J.J. glances toward Wilbur and frowns.
[Applause]
[Cordelia laughing]
[Bartholomew chuckling]
[Cheering]
[Wilbur giggling nervously]
Wilbur says, OH YES, I MEANT TO DO THAT. TO AND FRO, BACK TO NORMAL, MY FRIENDS GO!
Wilbur blasts J.J. with green and blue streams of light and turns him back to his normal self. J.J. smiles. J.J., Isadora, Pink Rabbit and Mirabelle wave.
[Cordelia laughing]
Cordelia says, WONDERFUL, WILBUR!
[Applause]
[Audience cheering]
Wilbur says, THANK YOU! THANK YOU!
Wilbur, J.J., Isadora, Pink Rabbit and Mirabelle bow. Violet continues bouncing in the bouncy castle. The curtains close. Later, backstage, Cordelia and a woman with a streak of green in her chin-length, teal hair, wearing a teal dress, stand with J.J., Isadora, Pink Rabbit, Mirabelle, and Wilbur. Mirabelle holds Violet.
Isadora explains, AND THEN, THE CASTLE CAME WITH US, BY ACCIDENT.
The teal-haired woman says, MIRABELLE, TOAD SNEEZE AND FROG SNEEZE ARE NOT THE SAME THING! SHORTCUTS LEAD TO LONG MENDS.
A wand with a green ball on the tip appears in the teal-haired woman’s hand.
The teal-haired woman says, OKAY, NOT TO WORRY. I'LL SEND J.J. BACK TO THE PARTY.
Isadora says, ERM, MOM, I KNOW I WASN'T SUPPOSED TO HOP BETWEEN EVENTS, AND I SHOULD'VE TOLD YOU ABOUT SASHI'S BIRTHDAY PARTY, BUT, CAN I GO BACK WITH J.J.? I WANT TO APOLOGIZE TO SASHI FOR, WELL, EVERYTHING.
Cordelia says, OH, GOOD CHOICE ISADORA! I'LL COME BY LATER TO PICK YOU UP.
Isadora says, THANKS, MOM!
Isadora hugs Cordelia. She joins J.J. and Pink Rabbit by the bouncy castle. Cordelia takes a step back. The teal-haired woman waves her wand and sends J.J., Isadora, Pink Rabbit and the bouncy castle back to Sashi’s now-empty backyard.
[Magical music briefly plays]
Isadora says, OH NO! WE'RE TOO LATE!
Isadora looks around the empty yard.
Isadora says, THE PARTY'S OVER. I'M SORRY, J.J.
J.J. smiles and says, IT'S OKAY.
Sashi runs across the yard and says, HI, ISADORA!
J.J. says, SASHI! ISADORA MAGICKED ME TO A WIZARD SCHOOL END OF THE YEAR SHOW! AND I GOT TURNED INTO A FROG!
Sashi says, WOW!
Isadora says, I'M REALLY SORRY, SASHI. I DOUBLE-BOOKED MYSELF, AND INSTEAD OF TELLING YOU, I TRIED TO DO BOTH THINGS AT ONCE. AND ENDED UP NOT REALLY DOING EITHER.
Sashi says, THAT'S OKAY! MY BIRTHDAY BASH HAD A REAL DRAGON AT IT, WHICH WAS REALLY COOL. AND A WIZARD SCHOOL END OF YEAR SHOW DOES SOUND LIKE A LOT OF FUN TOO.
Isadora asks, HOW CAN I MAKE IT UP TO YOU?
Sashi says, OH! MAYBE YOU AND PINK RABBIT CAN DO THAT SPECIAL PERFORMANCE FOR ME AND J.J.
