At night, the stars and full moon shine above the Moon family’s mansion. Isadora Moon, a young half-vampire, half-fairy girl with long black hair, pointy ears, pink bat wings and vampire fangs, wears a light purple cardigan over a light pink dress with black stars.
[Upbeat music plays]
A singer sings, ISADORA MOON THE ONE AND ONLY, HERE I GO. I'M TOTALLY UNIQUE AND EXTRA-STARRY.
Isadora spins and waves her star wand.
The singer sings, WAVING MY WAND, FLYING FEARLESSLY, YEAH IT'S YOUR GIRL, ISADORA.
Isadora’s fairy mom, Cordelia, and vampire dad, Bartholomew, join Isadora. Cordelia has long, wavy pink hair, pointy ears and green wings. She wears a flower crown and a green cardigan over a pink dress. Bartholomew has short black hair and wears a black and purple cape with a striped, grey suit vest.
The singer sings, A LITTLE BIT OF BOTH. HALF A VAMPIRE, HALF A FAIRY.
Isadora flies over her neighbourhood with Pink Rabbit, a pink rabbit stuffed toy come to life.
The singer sings, READY FOR A NEW EXCITING JOURNEY!

The singer sings, SPARKLY AND EXTRAORDINARY.

[Light, cheerful music plays]
Outside the Moon family’s mansion, Cordelia stands on the sidewalk with a basket. Isadora stands on the front porch with Pink Rabbit.
Isadora says, ENJOY THE STRAWBERRY-PICKING, MUM! AND SEE YOU LATER FOR YOUR SPECIAL SUNSET BIRTHDAY TEA!
The episode title reads, “Broken Wand.”
Cordelia says, CAN'T WAIT! BYE!
Cordelia flies away. Isadora and Pink Rabbit wave.
Isadora says, COME ON. I'M GOING TO MAKE MUM A MAGICAL BIRTHDAY SURPRISE!
Isadora runs inside with Pink Rabbit. She flies into the greenhouse, and Pink Rabbit follows.
[Greenhouse door squeaking]
Isadora says, MMM… OH!
Isadora lands by a table with a daisy plant in a clay pot and a rusty watering can with a hole in the side.
Isadora says, MAYBE I CAN FIX THE HOLE IN MUM'S OLD WATERING CAN FOR HER!
Pink Rabbit hops onto the table, and Isadora waves her wand toward the watering can. The watering can shakes and bumps into the daisy flower pot.
[Rattling]
Pink Rabbit stumbles off the table. The watering can disappears, and a single daisy falls onto the table.
Isadora says, OOPSIE.
Pink Rabbit hops back onto the table. Isadora picks up the fallen daisy.
Isadora says, AW. POOR DAISY.
[Isadora gasping]
Isadora says, I BET I COULD TURN THIS INTO A DAISY CROWN FOR MUM!
Oscar the ghost’s face appears on the side of the flower pot. Pink Rabbit jumps back with a look of surprise and stumbles off the table. Oscar flies out of the pot.
Oscar says, WOO-OOH! GOOD MOANING!
[Isadora giggling]
Pink Rabbit glares at Oscar.
Isadora says, OSCAR, HI!
Oscar spots Isadora’s daisy.
[Oscar gasping]
Oscar says, OOH! WHAT ARE WE DOING?
Isadora says, PINK RABBIT AND I ARE MAKING SOMETHING SPECIAL FOR MUM'S BIRTHDAY!
Isadora waves her star wand. The single daisy multiples into a flower crown.
Isadora says, A BIRTHDAY CROWN. WHAT DO YOU THINK?
Pink Rabbit climbs onto the table.
Oscar says, I MEAN, YOU COULD TRY MAKING IT BIGGER? IT IS SUPPOSED TO BE A SPECIAL BIRTHDAY PRESENT.
Isadora says, BIGGER? YOU THINK?
Oscar says, DEFINITELY! I ONCE SAW AN ANCIENT EGYPTIAN QUEEN WITH A PROPER GOLD CROWN. NOT JUST DAISIES.
Isadora playfully says, YOU RUDE GHOST! COME HERE!
Isadora drops the flower crown and leaps into the air. She chases Oscar around the greenhouse.
Isadora says, I'LL TURN YOU INTO A DAISY!
[Oscar giggling]
Oscar dodges Isadora and says, OR NOT!
[Oscar and Isadora giggling]
Isadora flies over Pink Rabbit, and he covers his eyes.
[Oscar and Isadora giggling]
Isadora waves her wand toward the flower crown, and it grows bigger.
Isadora says, TA-DA!
Oscar says, OH, NO, NO, NO. EVEN BIGGER!
[Isadora giggling]
Isadora waves her wand, and the crown grows bigger. Green leaves pop up between the flowers.
Oscar says, BIGGER STILL.
[Isadora giggling]
Isadora cheers, WHEE!
Isadora spins through the air. She bumps her wand against the daisy flower pot. The wand cracks, the pink star turns green, and sparks flicker.
[Electricity zapping]
Isadora says, HUH? WHAT HAPPENED?
Isadora waves her broken wand toward the flower crown. She zaps the crown with green sparks, and the leaves and flowers turn brown.
[Isadora loudly gasping]
Isadora turns and waves her wand. Oscar turns away. Pink Rabbit jumps off the table. Isadora zaps the daisy flower pot, and the flowers turn brown.
Isadora says, OH, NO, NO, NO! IT'S MUM'S FAVOURITE PLANT! I HAVE TO FIX THIS.
Isadora frantically waves her wand. Green sparks fly toward the door as Bartholomew enters the greenhouse.
Bartholomew says, GOOD MORNING!
The sparks hit Bartholomew, and he turns green.
Bartholomew says, OH, WHAT WAS THAT?!
Isadora and Oscar stare at Bartholomew, then share a look. Oscar flies over to Bartholomew.
Oscar asks, ARE YOU OKAY? YOU LOOK A BIT GREEN.
Bartholomew says, I'M QUITE FINE, THANK YOU, OSCAR.
[Oscar snorting]
Oscar says, NO. NO, NO, NO. I MEAN, YOU LITERALLY LOOK GREEN, LIKE A FROG.
[Oscar giggling
Bartholomew says, WHAT DO YOU MEAN, A –
Bartholomew glances at his hand.
[Bartholomew screaming]
Bartholomew says, MY FACE. WHAT ABOUT MY FACE?
Isadora says, GREEN, TOO.
Isadora walks over to Bartholomew with Pink Rabbit.
Bartholomew wails, NO! NOT MY PRECIOUS FACE! OH!
Isadora says, I'M SORRY, DAD. I WAS TRYING SOME BIRTHDAY MAGIC FOR MUM, AND I THINK I BROKE MY WAND. AND EVEN WORSE, LOOK WHAT I DID TO MUM'S PLANT!
Isadora turns toward the now-brown daisies.
Bartholomew says, OH, DEAR. THAT IS NOT GOOD. BUT ALSO, WHAT ABOUT MY FACE?!
Isadora says, I REALLY WANT TO FIX EVERYTHING BEFORE MUM GETS HOME. PLEASE, CAN WE TAKE MY WAND TO THE WAND REPAIR TREE IN THE FOREST?
Bartholomew says, WELL, I WAS JUST ABOUT TO GO TO BED...
Isadora gazes at her broken wand.
Bartholomew says, …BUT I DON'T SLEEP KNOWING MY HANDSOME FEATURES ARE GREEN. OKAY, OKAY, OKAY.
[Isadora gasping]
Isadora says, THANKS, DAD!
Isadora leaps into Bartholomew’s arms and hugs him.
Bartholomew says, LET'S GO!
Bartholomew frowns and says, AH. YOU KNOW, I HAVE NO IDEA WHERE THE FAIRY WAND PLACE IS.
[Isadora giggling]
Isadora says, DON'T WORRY, DAD. I KNOW EXACTLY WHERE IT IS.
In a forest, a stone staircase leads to a small pink door in a large tree. Isadora stands between Bartholomew and Pink Rabbit.
Isadora says, LOOK! THERE IT IS. COME ON!
Isadora leads Bartholomew and Pink Rabbit to the tree. She pulls out her wand and reaches for the door.
Bartholomew says, NO, NO. NO, NO.
Bartholomew runs behind the tree.
Bartholomew peeks around the tree and says, I'LL WAIT HERE FOR YOU. GREEN IS NOT MY COLOUR. IF ANYONE SAW ME, I WOULD BE A LAUGHINGSTOCK.
Isadora says, ON THE UPSIDE, YOU BLEND IN REALLY NICELY WITH THE LEAVES.
[Bartholomew gasping]
Bartholomew says, RUDE! BUT TRUE.
Bartholomew smiles.
[Isadora giggling]
Isadora flies up to the pink door and knocks.
[Knocking]
The blue-haired fairy Mignonette answers.
Isadora says, MIGNONETTE! LOOK, PINK RABBIT. IT'S THE TOOTH FAIRY.
Mignonette says, WAND REPAIR FAIRY, ACTUALLY! THE TOOTH FAIRY THING DIDN'T WORK OUT. ANYWAY, HOW CAN I HELP?
Isadora says, IT'S MY WAND. I ACCIDENTALLY BASHED IT.
Mignonette says, OH, THAT SOUNDS BAD.
Isadora says, AND NOW, IT MAKES GREEN SPARKLES.
Mignonette says, GREEN SPARKLES?!
[Dramatic music plays]
Mignonette says, THOSE ARE THE WORST ONES.
Isadora says, I SHRIVELLED MY MUM'S FAVOURITE PLANT!
Bartholomew peeks around the tree.
[Bartholomew clearing his throat]
Isadora says, OH, YEAH. AND I TURNED MY DAD GREEN.
Bartholomew says, MORTIFYING!
Bartholomew ducks behind the tree. Mignonette flies down to Isadora.
Mignonette says, LET'S HAVE A LOOK.
Mignonette takes Isadora’s wand and zaps the ground with a green spark.
[Electricity zapping]
Mignonette says, OH! YOU HAVE BEEN CARELESS!
Isadora says, I'M NOT CARELESS. IT'S JUST BECAUSE I'M, I'M ONLY HALF-FAIRY, SO MAGIC'S HARD. CAN YOU FIX IT, PLEASE?
Mignonette says, I'D LIKE TO SAY YES, BUT I'M STILL IN TRAINING, AND THE ACTUAL WAND REPAIRERS HAVE TO ATTEND A TOADSTOOL EMERGENCY.
[Isadora gasping]
Isadora says, WHAT AM I GOING TO DO? MUM WILL BE HOME SOON, AND HER BIRTHDAY WILL BE RUINED!
[Mignonette gasping]
Mignonette says, WAIT A MINUTE!
Mignonette returns Isadora’s wand and flies into the tree.
[Banging]
[Clanking]
[Cat hissing]
Mignonette steps out of the tree with a yellow star on the end of a stick.
Mignonette says, I COULD GIVE YOU THIS EMERGENCY WAND. THING IS, IT CAN PERFORM ONE SPELL ONLY.
Isadora says, THAT COULD WORK. I COULD FIX MUM'S PLANT, AND THEN TELL HER ABOUT MY BROKEN WAND LATER.
Pink Rabbit nods. Isadora reaches for the emergency wand. Mignonette pulls the wand away.
Mignonette says, NOT SO FAST!
Isadora frowns.
Mignonette says, THE INSTRUCTIONS. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT. YOU HAVE TO STAND IN FULL SUNLIGHT. YOU NEED TO GIVE IT A SMALL FLOURISH TO GET IT STARTED, AND THEN THREE TAPS. TAP-TAP-TAP. AND THEN –
Isadora takes the wand from Mignonette and says, YES, YES. I'VE GOT IT. THANKS, MIGNONETTE! THIS IS GREAT.
Isadora flies around to the back of the tree.
Isadora says, DAD!
[Snoring]
Bartholomew lies asleep against the tree.
[Bartholomew snowing]
Isadora says, LOOK!
Bartholomew jerks awake and says, HUH? WHAT?
Isadora says, A NEW WAND!
Bartholomew says, OH, EXCELLENT! QUICKLY! TURN ME BACK TO MY NATURAL SHADE OF MAGNIFICENT MARBLE.
Bartholomew stands, and Isadora frowns.
Isadora says, DAD, I CAN ONLY DO ONE SPELL, AND I REALLY WANT TO FIX MUM'S PLANT. AFTER ALL, IT IS HER BIRTHDAY.
Bartholomew sighs, AH, OKAY. I UNDERSTAND.
Isadora says, BYE, MIGNONETTE!
Isadora picks up Pink Rabbit and flies away with Bartholomew.
Mignonette flies around the tree and shouts, USE IT CAREFULLY! ONCE THE SPELL IS USED, THE WAND WILL JUST BE A STICK!
At home, Bartholomew says, YOU KNOW WHAT? YOU DO YOUR PLANT MAGIC AND I WILL HAVE A NAP, SO I'LL BE FRESH FOR YOUR MUM'S SUNSET BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION.
Isadora says, OKAY, DAD!
Bartholomew flies up the stairs.
Isadora says to Pink Rabbit, LET'S GO FIX MUM'S PRECIOUS PLANT!
In the greenhouse, Isadora waves the emergency wand toward the potted daisy plant. Pink Rabbit looks worried. Nothing happens to the plant, and Isadora frowns. She aggressively waves the wand.
Isadora says, OH, WHY WON'T IT WORK? MIGNONETTE MUST HAVE GIVEN ME A FAULTY WAND.
Pink Rabbit looks thoughtful. He smiles and drags the pot across the floor.
Isadora says, WHAT ARE YOU DOING? WAIT FOR ME!
Isadora follows Pink Rabbit outside. In the backyard, the sun shines brightly over the garden and the lush plants.
Isadora says, OH, YES! MIGNONETTE DID SAY SOMETHING ABOUT USING THE WAND IN FULL SUNLIGHT. GOOD THINKING, PINK RABBIT! NOW, WHAT ELSE DID MIGNONETTE SAY?
Isadora looks at the emergency wand and says, HMM.
Isadora shakes her head.
Isadora says, CAN'T REMEMBER. NEVER MIND!
Isadora waves the wand toward the daisies. Behind Isadora, swirls of bright light wrap around a pot of pink flowers with green vines. Isadora frowns at the daisies.
[Whooshing]
[Suspenseful music plays]
[Electricity sparking]
Isadora glances at the pink flowers behind her. She turns and watches the vines grow up and across the side of the house. Small and giant daisies grow on the vines.
Isadora says, UH-OH.
Daisies cover the house. They wrap around the towers and block the doors and windows.
Isadora says, THAT WASN'T SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN.
Isadora waves the emergency wand and says, REVERSE. REVERSE! PINK RABBIT, IT'S NOT WORKING!
The star on the wand disappears.
Isadora says, OH! IT'S JUST A STICK NOW!
From inside, Bartholomew says, ISADORA, WHAT'S GOING ON? I CAN'T GET OUT.
Isadora flies up to a balcony blocked by vines and daisies.
Isadora says, SORRY, DAD. I'M TRYING TO FIX IT.
Isadora flies down the side of the house. Oscar pops out of a giant daisy.
Oscar cheers, WOO-HOO! WHAT FUN! THE HOUSE IS COVERED IN DAISIES AND DAD CAN'T GET OUT! OH, WHAT A DAY TO BE ALIVE!
Isadora lands beside the potted daisy plant.
Oscar says, OR NOT, IF YOU SEE WHAT I MEAN.
[Oscar giggling]
Isadora says, THANKS, OSCAR. NOT HELPFUL.
Oscar frowns.
Isadora says, WHAT AM I GOING TO DO? MUM WILL BE HERE ANY MINUTE!
From close by, Cordelia says, ISADORA!
Cordelia flies into the backyard with her basket full of strawberries.
Cordelia says, OH! BLOOMING FLORA!
Cordelia looks around, and her smile falls.
[Isadora gasping]
Isadora, Oscar and Pink Rabbit stand in front of the potted daisy plant. They block Cordelia’s view of the brown flowers. Cordelia lands in front of them.
Isadora says, MUM, I WANTED TO GIVE YOU A LOVELY FLOWER SURPRISE FOR YOUR BIRTHDAY.
Cordelia says, WELL…
[Cordelia briefly chuckling]
Cordelia says, YOU CERTAINLY DID THAT.
Isadora says, YES, BUT I DIDN'T MEAN TO DO…
Isadora, Oscar and Pink Rabbit move away from the daisy plant.
Isadora says, …THIS.
Cordelia says, OH. MY POOR DAISY. WHAT HAPPENED?
Isadora says, I WAS TRYING TO MAKE YOU A FLOWER CROWN, AND I WAS A BIT CARELESS.
Isadora pulls out her broken wand and says, I BROKE MY WAND AND DID THIS TO YOUR PRECIOUS PLANT.
Cordelia smiles and says, I SEE.
Isadora says, I TRIED TO FIX IT WITH AN EMERGENCY WAND, BUT I DIDN'T LISTEN TO INSTRUCTIONS. I'M SORRY.
Cordelia says, I THINK A LITTLE MAGIC SHOULD FIX YOUR WAND.
Cordelia waves her wand over Isadora’s wand. Sparkles shine around Isadora’s wand, and it snaps together.
[Isadora gasping]
Isadora says, YOU FIXED IT! THANKS, MUM.
Isadora hugs Cordelia.
Isadora asks, WHAT ABOUT YOUR PLANT?
Cordelia puts down her basket.
Cordelia says, A LITTLE LOVE AND ATTENTION WITH MY GREEN FINGERS SHOULD DO THE TRICK.
Oscar says, SPEAKING OF GREEN FINGERS, YOU SHOULD SEE DAD!
On the balcony, Bartholomew calls out, HELLO? I'M STILL TRAPPED IN THE GREAT BIG DAISY HOUSE. I WANT TO COME AND WISH YOU A HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MY DARLING!
Bartholomew spins and shape-shifts into a green cat. As a cat, he climbs down the vines on the side of the house. On a tower, Bartholomew slips on a giant daisy.
[Bartholomew yelping]
[Bartholomew meowing]
Bartholomew leaps off the tower onto the ground.
Giggling, Isadora says, DAD!
Bartholomew spins and transforms back into his vampire self beside Cordelia.
Bartholomew says, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MY DARLING!
Bartholomew kisses Cordelia’s hand and says, MWAH! FORGIVE THE NEW APPEARANCE. I DON'T THINK IT'S CONTAGIOUS.
[Cordelia laughing]
Cordelia says, I LOVE IT! GREEN IS ONE OF MY FAVOURITE COLOURS.
[Bartholomew chuckling]
Bartholomew scratches the back of his head.
Cordelia turns to Isadora and says, AND NOW, FOR THE HOUSE. IT MIGHT TAKE A WHILE TO REVERSE THIS MAGIC.
Isadora asks, PLEASE, CAN I DO IT? IT WAS MY MESS, AND I REALLY WANT TO FIX IT.
Cordelia says, ISADORA, TAKING RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR MISTAKES IS A WONDERFUL THING TO DO, WHETHER YOU'RE HUMAN OR FAIRY OR VAMPIRE.
Isadora smiles.
Cordelia says, GO ON. CAREFULLY POINT YOUR WAND AT THE DAISIES.
Isadora points her wand toward the daisies on the side of the house. Her wand lights up, and pink sparkles billow out. A giant daisy disappears.
[Magical music plays]
Isadora frowns and says, HUH? IT ONLY DID ONE.
Cordelia says, AH, THAT'S THE THING WITH THE BEGINNER'S WAND. IT WILL ONLY DO ONE DAISY AT A TIME.
Isadora says, WHAT?!
Oscar says, ONLY ANOTHER 400 TO GO BEFORE SUNSET!
[Oscar giggling]
Isadora glares at Oscar.
[Isadora sighing]
Later, in the greenhouse, Isadora stands by the table with Bartholomew and Cordelia. Honey Blossom sits at the table in her highchair. Pink Rabbit stands by Isadora, and Oscar hovers above her. A floral orange tablecloth decorates the table, which has a jug of juice, a teapot and a tiered tray of fruit and sandwiches.
Isadora and Oscar say, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MUM!
At the same time, Bartholomew says, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MY DARLING.
Isadora, Bartholomew and Cordelia drink glasses of juice. Isadora puts her glass on the table and grabs an instant camera.
Isadora says, LET'S HAVE A BIRTHDAY PHOTO!
Isadora sets up the camera on a tripod.
Isadora says, SMILE!
Isadora stands beside Cordelia, and everyone smiles.
Bartholomew frowns and says, NO, WAIT! I'M STILL GREEN!
[Camera shutter clicking]
A photo of the family shows Bartholomew with his hands on his face and Isadora and Cordelia giggling.
Bartholomew groans, OH!
[Isadora giggling]
Isadora says, I DIDN'T MANAGE TO MAKE YOUR FLOWER CROWN, BUT I HOPE YOU LIKE THIS INSTEAD.
Isadora offers Cordelia the photo.
Cordelia says, I LOVE IT!
Isadora says, OH, WAIT! ONE MORE THING!
Isadora waves her wand and taps the photograph. Blue and pink sparkles shine around it. Daisies form a border around the photo.
Bartholomew says, OH, VERY GOOD WAND ACTION, ISADORA! AND COULD I ASK YOU TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT THE GREEN?
[Bartholomew chuckling]
Isadora says, OOPSIE.
Isadora waves her wand toward Bartholomew.
[Bartholomew sighing]
Bartholomew turns orange with green polka dots.
Bartholomew says, BACK TO MY HANDSOME SELF AGAIN!
[Cordelia laughing]
Isadora says, UH...
Isadora waves her wand, and the orange and green colour fades.
Isadora says, NOW, YOU ARE.
[Isadora giggling]

Isadora runs inside with Pink Rabbit. She flies into the greenhouse, and Pink Rabbit follows.
[Greenhouse door squeaking]
Isadora says, MMM… OH!
Isadora lands by a table with a daisy plant in a clay pot and a rusty watering can with a hole in the side.
Isadora says, MAYBE I CAN FIX THE HOLE IN MUM'S OLD WATERING CAN FOR HER!
Pink Rabbit hops onto the table, and Isadora waves her wand toward the watering can. The watering can shakes and bumps into the daisy flower pot.
[Rattling]
Pink Rabbit stumbles off the table. The watering can disappears, and a single daisy falls onto the table.
Isadora says, OOPSIE.
Pink Rabbit hops back onto the table. Isadora picks up the fallen daisy.
Isadora says, AW. POOR DAISY.
[Isadora gasping]
Isadora says, I BET I COULD TURN THIS INTO A DAISY CROWN FOR MUM!
Oscar the ghost’s face appears on the side of the flower pot. Pink Rabbit jumps back with a look of surprise and stumbles off the table. Oscar flies out of the pot.
Oscar says, WOO-OOH! GOOD MOANING!
[Isadora giggling]
Pink Rabbit glares at Oscar.
Isadora says, OSCAR, HI!
Oscar spots Isadora’s daisy.
[Oscar gasping]
Oscar says, OOH! WHAT ARE WE DOING?
Isadora says, PINK RABBIT AND I ARE MAKING SOMETHING SPECIAL FOR MUM'S BIRTHDAY!
Isadora waves her star wand. The single daisy multiples into a flower crown.
Isadora says, A BIRTHDAY CROWN. WHAT DO YOU THINK?
Pink Rabbit climbs onto the table.
Oscar says, I MEAN, YOU COULD TRY MAKING IT BIGGER? IT IS SUPPOSED TO BE A SPECIAL BIRTHDAY PRESENT.
Isadora says, BIGGER? YOU THINK?
Oscar says, DEFINITELY! I ONCE SAW AN ANCIENT EGYPTIAN QUEEN WITH A PROPER GOLD CROWN. NOT JUST DAISIES.
Isadora playfully says, YOU RUDE GHOST! COME HERE!
Isadora drops the flower crown and leaps into the air. She chases Oscar around the greenhouse.
Isadora says, I'LL TURN YOU INTO A DAISY!
[Oscar giggling]
Oscar dodges Isadora and says, OR NOT!
[Oscar and Isadora giggling]
Isadora flies over Pink Rabbit, and he covers his eyes.
[Oscar and Isadora giggling]
Isadora waves her wand toward the flower crown, and it grows bigger.
Isadora says, TA-DA!
Oscar says, OH, NO, NO, NO. EVEN BIGGER!
[Isadora giggling]
Isadora waves her wand, and the crown grows bigger. Green leaves pop up between the flowers.
Oscar says, BIGGER STILL.
[Isadora giggling]
Isadora cheers, WHEE!
Isadora spins through the air. She bumps her wand against the daisy flower pot. The wand cracks, the pink star turns green, and sparks flicker.
[Electricity zapping]
Isadora says, HUH? WHAT HAPPENED?
Isadora waves her broken wand toward the flower crown. She zaps the crown with green sparks, and the leaves and flowers turn brown.
[Isadora loudly gasping]
Isadora turns and waves her wand. Oscar turns away. Pink Rabbit jumps off the table. Isadora zaps the daisy flower pot, and the flowers turn brown.
Isadora says, OH, NO, NO, NO! IT'S MUM'S FAVOURITE PLANT! I HAVE TO FIX THIS.
Isadora frantically waves her wand. Green sparks fly toward the door as Bartholomew enters the greenhouse.
Bartholomew says, GOOD MORNING!
The sparks hit Bartholomew, and he turns green.
Bartholomew says, OH, WHAT WAS THAT?!
Isadora and Oscar stare at Bartholomew, then share a look. Oscar flies over to Bartholomew.
Oscar asks, ARE YOU OKAY? YOU LOOK A BIT GREEN.
Bartholomew says, I'M QUITE FINE, THANK YOU, OSCAR.
[Oscar snorting]
Oscar says, NO. NO, NO, NO. I MEAN, YOU LITERALLY LOOK GREEN, LIKE A FROG.
[Oscar giggling
Bartholomew says, WHAT DO YOU MEAN, A –
Bartholomew glances at his hand.
[Bartholomew screaming]
Bartholomew says, MY FACE. WHAT ABOUT MY FACE?
Isadora says, GREEN, TOO.
Isadora walks over to Bartholomew with Pink Rabbit.
Bartholomew wails, NO! NOT MY PRECIOUS FACE! OH!
Isadora says, I'M SORRY, DAD. I WAS TRYING SOME BIRTHDAY MAGIC FOR MUM, AND I THINK I BROKE MY WAND. AND EVEN WORSE, LOOK WHAT I DID TO MUM'S PLANT!
Isadora turns toward the now-brown daisies.
Bartholomew says, OH, DEAR. THAT IS NOT GOOD. BUT ALSO, WHAT ABOUT MY FACE?!
Isadora says, I REALLY WANT TO FIX EVERYTHING BEFORE MUM GETS HOME. PLEASE, CAN WE TAKE MY WAND TO THE WAND REPAIR TREE IN THE FOREST?
Bartholomew says, WELL, I WAS JUST ABOUT TO GO TO BED...
Isadora gazes at her broken wand.
Bartholomew says, …BUT I DON'T SLEEP KNOWING MY HANDSOME FEATURES ARE GREEN. OKAY, OKAY, OKAY.
[Isadora gasping]
Isadora says, THANKS, DAD!
Isadora leaps into Bartholomew’s arms and hugs him.
Bartholomew says, LET'S GO!
Bartholomew frowns and says, AH. YOU KNOW, I HAVE NO IDEA WHERE THE FAIRY WAND PLACE IS.
[Isadora giggling]
Isadora says, DON'T WORRY, DAD. I KNOW EXACTLY WHERE IT IS.
In a forest, a stone staircase leads to a small pink door in a large tree. Isadora stands between Bartholomew and Pink Rabbit.
Isadora says, LOOK! THERE IT IS. COME ON!
Isadora leads Bartholomew and Pink Rabbit to the tree. She pulls out her wand and reaches for the door.
Bartholomew says, NO, NO. NO, NO.
Bartholomew runs behind the tree.
Bartholomew peeks around the tree and says, I'LL WAIT HERE FOR YOU. GREEN IS NOT MY COLOUR. IF ANYONE SAW ME, I WOULD BE A LAUGHINGSTOCK.
Isadora says, ON THE UPSIDE, YOU BLEND IN REALLY NICELY WITH THE LEAVES.
[Bartholomew gasping]
Bartholomew says, RUDE! BUT TRUE.
Bartholomew smiles.
[Isadora giggling]
Isadora flies up to the pink door and knocks.
[Knocking]
The blue-haired fairy Mignonette answers.
Isadora says, MIGNONETTE! LOOK, PINK RABBIT. IT'S THE TOOTH FAIRY.
Mignonette says, WAND REPAIR FAIRY, ACTUALLY! THE TOOTH FAIRY THING DIDN'T WORK OUT. ANYWAY, HOW CAN I HELP?
Isadora says, IT'S MY WAND. I ACCIDENTALLY BASHED IT.
Mignonette says, OH, THAT SOUNDS BAD.
Isadora says, AND NOW, IT MAKES GREEN SPARKLES.
Mignonette says, GREEN SPARKLES?!
[Dramatic music plays]
Mignonette says, THOSE ARE THE WORST ONES.
Isadora says, I SHRIVELLED MY MUM'S FAVOURITE PLANT!
Bartholomew peeks around the tree.
[Bartholomew clearing his throat]
Isadora says, OH, YEAH. AND I TURNED MY DAD GREEN.
Bartholomew says, MORTIFYING!
Bartholomew ducks behind the tree. Mignonette flies down to Isadora.
Mignonette says, LET'S HAVE A LOOK.
Mignonette takes Isadora’s wand and zaps the ground with a green spark.
[Electricity zapping]
Mignonette says, OH! YOU HAVE BEEN CARELESS!
Isadora says, I'M NOT CARELESS. IT'S JUST BECAUSE I'M, I'M ONLY HALF-FAIRY, SO MAGIC'S HARD. CAN YOU FIX IT, PLEASE?
Mignonette says, I'D LIKE TO SAY YES, BUT I'M STILL IN TRAINING, AND THE ACTUAL WAND REPAIRERS HAVE TO ATTEND A TOADSTOOL EMERGENCY.
[Isadora gasping]
Isadora says, WHAT AM I GOING TO DO? MUM WILL BE HOME SOON, AND HER BIRTHDAY WILL BE RUINED!
[Mignonette gasping]
Mignonette says, WAIT A MINUTE!
Mignonette returns Isadora’s wand and flies into the tree.
[Banging]
[Clanking]
[Cat hissing]
Mignonette steps out of the tree with a yellow star on the end of a stick.
Mignonette says, I COULD GIVE YOU THIS EMERGENCY WAND. THING IS, IT CAN PERFORM ONE SPELL ONLY.
Isadora says, THAT COULD WORK. I COULD FIX MUM'S PLANT, AND THEN TELL HER ABOUT MY BROKEN WAND LATER.
Pink Rabbit nods. Isadora reaches for the emergency wand. Mignonette pulls the wand away.
Mignonette says, NOT SO FAST!
Isadora frowns.
Mignonette says, THE INSTRUCTIONS. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT. YOU HAVE TO STAND IN FULL SUNLIGHT. YOU NEED TO GIVE IT A SMALL FLOURISH TO GET IT STARTED, AND THEN THREE TAPS. TAP-TAP-TAP. AND THEN –
Isadora takes the wand from Mignonette and says, YES, YES. I'VE GOT IT. THANKS, MIGNONETTE! THIS IS GREAT.
Isadora flies around to the back of the tree.
Isadora says, DAD!
[Snoring]
Bartholomew lies asleep against the tree.
[Bartholomew snowing]
Isadora says, LOOK!
Bartholomew jerks awake and says, HUH? WHAT?
Isadora says, A NEW WAND!
Bartholomew says, OH, EXCELLENT! QUICKLY! TURN ME BACK TO MY NATURAL SHADE OF MAGNIFICENT MARBLE.
Bartholomew stands, and Isadora frowns.
Isadora says, DAD, I CAN ONLY DO ONE SPELL, AND I REALLY WANT TO FIX MUM'S PLANT. AFTER ALL, IT IS HER BIRTHDAY.
Bartholomew sighs, AH, OKAY. I UNDERSTAND.
Isadora says, BYE, MIGNONETTE!
Isadora picks up Pink Rabbit and flies away with Bartholomew.
Mignonette flies around the tree and shouts, USE IT CAREFULLY! ONCE THE SPELL IS USED, THE WAND WILL JUST BE A STICK!
At home, Bartholomew says, YOU KNOW WHAT? YOU DO YOUR PLANT MAGIC AND I WILL HAVE A NAP, SO I'LL BE FRESH FOR YOUR MUM'S SUNSET BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION.
Isadora says, OKAY, DAD!
Bartholomew flies up the stairs.
Isadora says to Pink Rabbit, LET'S GO FIX MUM'S PRECIOUS PLANT!
In the greenhouse, Isadora waves the emergency wand toward the potted daisy plant. Pink Rabbit looks worried. Nothing happens to the plant, and Isadora frowns. She aggressively waves the wand.
Isadora says, OH, WHY WON'T IT WORK? MIGNONETTE MUST HAVE GIVEN ME A FAULTY WAND.
Pink Rabbit looks thoughtful. He smiles and drags the pot across the floor.
Isadora says, WHAT ARE YOU DOING? WAIT FOR ME!
Isadora follows Pink Rabbit outside. In the backyard, the sun shines brightly over the garden and the lush plants.
Isadora says, OH, YES! MIGNONETTE DID SAY SOMETHING ABOUT USING THE WAND IN FULL SUNLIGHT. GOOD THINKING, PINK RABBIT! NOW, WHAT ELSE DID MIGNONETTE SAY?
Isadora looks at the emergency wand and says, HMM.
Isadora shakes her head.
Isadora says, CAN'T REMEMBER. NEVER MIND!
Isadora waves the wand toward the daisies. Behind Isadora, swirls of bright light wrap around a pot of pink flowers with green vines. Isadora frowns at the daisies.
[Whooshing]
[Suspenseful music plays]
[Electricity sparking]
Isadora glances at the pink flowers behind her. She turns and watches the vines grow up and across the side of the house. Small and giant daisies grow on the vines.
Isadora says, UH-OH.
Daisies cover the house. They wrap around the towers and block the doors and windows.
Isadora says, THAT WASN'T SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN.
Isadora waves the emergency wand and says, REVERSE. REVERSE! PINK RABBIT, IT'S NOT WORKING!
The star on the wand disappears.
Isadora says, OH! IT'S JUST A STICK NOW!
From inside, Bartholomew says, ISADORA, WHAT'S GOING ON? I CAN'T GET OUT.
Isadora flies up to a balcony blocked by vines and daisies.
Isadora says, SORRY, DAD. I'M TRYING TO FIX IT.
Isadora flies down the side of the house. Oscar pops out of a giant daisy.
Oscar cheers, WOO-HOO! WHAT FUN! THE HOUSE IS COVERED IN DAISIES AND DAD CAN'T GET OUT! OH, WHAT A DAY TO BE ALIVE!
Isadora lands beside the potted daisy plant.
Oscar says, OR NOT, IF YOU SEE WHAT I MEAN.
[Oscar giggling]
Isadora says, THANKS, OSCAR. NOT HELPFUL.
Oscar frowns.
Isadora says, WHAT AM I GOING TO DO? MUM WILL BE HERE ANY MINUTE!
From close by, Cordelia says, ISADORA!
Cordelia flies into the backyard with her basket full of strawberries.
Cordelia says, OH! BLOOMING FLORA!
Cordelia looks around, and her smile falls.
[Isadora gasping]
Isadora, Oscar and Pink Rabbit stand in front of the potted daisy plant. They block Cordelia’s view of the brown flowers. Cordelia lands in front of them.
Isadora says, MUM, I WANTED TO GIVE YOU A LOVELY FLOWER SURPRISE FOR YOUR BIRTHDAY.
Cordelia says, WELL…
[Cordelia briefly chuckling]
Cordelia says, YOU CERTAINLY DID THAT.
Isadora says, YES, BUT I DIDN'T MEAN TO DO…
Isadora, Oscar and Pink Rabbit move away from the daisy plant.
Isadora says, …THIS.
Cordelia says, OH. MY POOR DAISY. WHAT HAPPENED?
Isadora says, I WAS TRYING TO MAKE YOU A FLOWER CROWN, AND I WAS A BIT CARELESS.
Isadora pulls out her broken wand and says, I BROKE MY WAND AND DID THIS TO YOUR PRECIOUS PLANT.
Cordelia smiles and says, I SEE.
Isadora says, I TRIED TO FIX IT WITH AN EMERGENCY WAND, BUT I DIDN'T LISTEN TO INSTRUCTIONS. I'M SORRY.
Cordelia says, I THINK A LITTLE MAGIC SHOULD FIX YOUR WAND.
Cordelia waves her wand over Isadora’s wand. Sparkles shine around Isadora’s wand, and it snaps together.
[Isadora gasping]
Isadora says, YOU FIXED IT! THANKS, MUM.
Isadora hugs Cordelia.
Isadora asks, WHAT ABOUT YOUR PLANT?
Cordelia puts down her basket.
Cordelia says, A LITTLE LOVE AND ATTENTION WITH MY GREEN FINGERS SHOULD DO THE TRICK.
Oscar says, SPEAKING OF GREEN FINGERS, YOU SHOULD SEE DAD!
On the balcony, Bartholomew calls out, HELLO? I'M STILL TRAPPED IN THE GREAT BIG DAISY HOUSE. I WANT TO COME AND WISH YOU A HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MY DARLING!
Bartholomew spins and shape-shifts into a green cat. As a cat, he climbs down the vines on the side of the house. On a tower, Bartholomew slips on a giant daisy.
[Bartholomew yelping]
[Bartholomew meowing]
Bartholomew leaps off the tower onto the ground.
Giggling, Isadora says, DAD!
Bartholomew spins and transforms back into his vampire self beside Cordelia.
Bartholomew says, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MY DARLING!
Bartholomew kisses Cordelia’s hand and says, MWAH! FORGIVE THE NEW APPEARANCE. I DON'T THINK IT'S CONTAGIOUS.
[Cordelia laughing]
Cordelia says, I LOVE IT! GREEN IS ONE OF MY FAVOURITE COLOURS.
[Bartholomew chuckling]
Bartholomew scratches the back of his head.
Cordelia turns to Isadora and says, AND NOW, FOR THE HOUSE. IT MIGHT TAKE A WHILE TO REVERSE THIS MAGIC.
Isadora asks, PLEASE, CAN I DO IT? IT WAS MY MESS, AND I REALLY WANT TO FIX IT.
Cordelia says, ISADORA, TAKING RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR MISTAKES IS A WONDERFUL THING TO DO, WHETHER YOU'RE HUMAN OR FAIRY OR VAMPIRE.
Isadora smiles.
Cordelia says, GO ON. CAREFULLY POINT YOUR WAND AT THE DAISIES.
Isadora points her wand toward the daisies on the side of the house. Her wand lights up, and pink sparkles billow out. A giant daisy disappears.
[Magical music plays]
Isadora frowns and says, HUH? IT ONLY DID ONE.
Cordelia says, AH, THAT'S THE THING WITH THE BEGINNER'S WAND. IT WILL ONLY DO ONE DAISY AT A TIME.
Isadora says, WHAT?!
Oscar says, ONLY ANOTHER 400 TO GO BEFORE SUNSET!
[Oscar giggling]
Isadora glares at Oscar.
[Isadora sighing]
Later, in the greenhouse, Isadora stands by the table with Bartholomew and Cordelia. Honey Blossom sits at the table in her highchair. Pink Rabbit stands by Isadora, and Oscar hovers above her. A floral orange tablecloth decorates the table, which has a jug of juice, a teapot and a tiered tray of fruit and sandwiches.
Isadora and Oscar say, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MUM!
At the same time, Bartholomew says, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MY DARLING.
Isadora, Bartholomew and Cordelia drink glasses of juice. Isadora puts her glass on the table and grabs an instant camera.
Isadora says, LET'S HAVE A BIRTHDAY PHOTO!
Isadora sets up the camera on a tripod.
Isadora says, SMILE!
Isadora stands beside Cordelia, and everyone smiles.
Bartholomew frowns and says, NO, WAIT! I'M STILL GREEN!
[Camera shutter clicking]
A photo of the family shows Bartholomew with his hands on his face and Isadora and Cordelia giggling.
Bartholomew groans, OH!
[Isadora giggling]
Isadora says, I DIDN'T MANAGE TO MAKE YOUR FLOWER CROWN, BUT I HOPE YOU LIKE THIS INSTEAD.
Isadora offers Cordelia the photo.
Cordelia says, I LOVE IT!
Isadora says, OH, WAIT! ONE MORE THING!
Isadora waves her wand and taps the photograph. Blue and pink sparkles shine around it. Daisies form a border around the photo.
Bartholomew says, OH, VERY GOOD WAND ACTION, ISADORA! AND COULD I ASK YOU TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT THE GREEN?
[Bartholomew chuckling]
Isadora says, OOPSIE.
Isadora waves her wand toward Bartholomew.
[Bartholomew sighing]
Bartholomew turns orange with green polka dots.
Bartholomew says, BACK TO MY HANDSOME SELF AGAIN!
[Cordelia laughing]
Isadora says, UH...
Isadora waves her wand, and the orange and green colour fades.
Isadora says, NOW, YOU ARE.
[Isadora giggling]
