At night, the stars and full moon shine above the Moon family’s mansion. Isadora Moon, a young half-vampire, half-fairy girl with long black hair, pointy ears, pink bat wings and vampire fangs, wears a light purple cardigan over a light pink dress with black stars.

[Upbeat music plays]

A singer sings, ISADORA MOON THE ONE AND ONLY, HERE I GO. I'M TOTALLY UNIQUE AND EXTRA-STARRY.

Isadora spins and waves her star wand.

The singer sings, WAVING MY WAND, FLYING FEARLESSLY, YEAH IT'S YOUR GIRL, ISADORA.

Isadora’s fairy mom, Cordelia, and vampire dad, Bartholomew, join Isadora. Cordelia has long, wavy pink hair, pointy ears and green wings. She wears a flower crown and a green cardigan over a pink dress. Bartholomew has short black hair and wears a black and purple cape with a striped, grey suit vest.

The singer sings, A LITTLE BIT OF BOTH. HALF A VAMPIRE, HALF A FAIRY.

Isadora flies over her neighbourhood with Pink Rabbit, a stuffed toy that comes to life.

The singer sings, READY FOR A NEW EXCITING JOURNEY!

Isadora dives into the ocean. Text reads, “Written by Jen Upton. Theme Song by Helen Park.”

The singer sings, SPARKLY AND EXTRAORDINARY.

Isadora swims underwater as a mermaid and transforms into a black cat. Text reads, “Series Director William Gordon. Showrunner Deborah Thorpe.”

The singer sings, YEAH, THAT'S ME, ISADORA WATCH ME BE.

Isadora flies around the show title and waves her wand. Text reads, “Isadora Moon. Based on the Isadora Moon books and characters by Harriet Muncaster.”

[Gentle, cheerful music plays]

Outside Amma and Omari’s mansion at sunset, Isadora, Amma and Omari sit on a bench by a tree. Pink Rabbit sits at their feet. Cordelia’s flying fairy car is parked by the door. The episode title reads, “Flight Fright.”

[Amma giggling]

Isadora asks, HOW CAN IT BE SUNDAY NIGHT ALREADY?

Amma says, I KNOW! I LOVED YOU STAYING WITH US, ISADORA.

Amma hugs Isadora.

Omari says, HEY! STILL TIME FOR YOU TO CHECK OUT THIS TOTALLY COOL STUNT I LEARNED AT FLYING CLUB. IT'S CALLED A TRIPLE-TWIST DIVE. WATCH!

Omari flies into the air and somersaults.

Omari cheers, WOO-HOO!

[Omari laughing]

Omari dives toward the ground. He holds his arms tight against his body and twists in the air.

Omari cheers, WOO-HOO! WOO-HOO-HOO!

Omari lands on his feet beside the bench.

Amma cheers, YES!

Isadora says, WHOA, OMARI! THAT WAS AMAZING!

[Isadora and Amma applauding]

Omari says, I KNOW, RIGHT?

Amma says, I CAN TOTALLY DO THAT.

Amma leaps into the air.

[Isadora gasping]

Amma does a somersault and cheers, WOO-HOO!

Amma twists and cheers, YEAH!

Amma stumbles onto the ground and says, WHOOPS!

Amma straightens and says, TA-DAH!

[Isadora applauding]

Omari says, WOW!

Omari says, NOT BAD, LITTLE SIS. HOW ABOUT YOU, ISADORA?

Isadora says, OH, I'M AH, NOT SURE. I'M ONLY HALF-VAMPIRE. REMEMBER? MY FLYING IS NOT THE BEST.

Amma says, YOU CAN DO IT, ISADORA!

Isadora says, HMM.

Isadora glances at Pink Rabbit, who smiles and nods.

Isadora says, OKAY, I CAN DO THIS!

Isadora leaps into the air.

[Amma and Omari cheering]

Omari shouts, NOW, THE SOMERSAULT!

Isadora somersaults in the air.

[Isadora grunting]

Isadora dives toward the ground.

Amma shouts, TWIST!

Isadora twists and starts to spin.

Isadora yelps, WHOA!

Omari shouts, PULL UP! PULL UP! PULL UP!

Pink Rabbit covers his eyes. Isadora kicks her feet forward.

Isadora yelps, WHOA!

Isadora falls feet first into a bush and yells, WHOA!

[Isadora grunting]

[Rustling]

[Isadora panting]

Isadora sticks her head out of the bush.

[Amma gasping]

Amma says, ISADORA!

Amma, Omari and Pink Rabbit run over to Isadora. Isadora climbs out of the bush.

Amma asks, ARE YOU OKAY?

Panting, Isadora says, YEAH, I'M FINE.

Isadora dusts off her dress.

Omari says, YOU JUST NEED A BIT MORE PRACTICE. GIVE IT ANOTHER GO.

Isadora says, NO! I MEAN, MAYBE LATER.

Amma and Omari look worried. At the front door, Cordelia steps outside with Honey Blossom.

Cordelia sings, ISADORA!

Bartholomew and Aunt Omi follow Cordelia outside.

Bartholomew says, TIME TO SAY 'GOODBYE' TO YOUR COUSINS, ISADORA!

Omari groans, AW! WE WERE DOING STUNTS!

Amma asks, CAN'T ISADORA STAY A TINY BIT LONGER?

Cordelia says, I'M SORRY, DARLINGS, BUT ISADORA HAS SCHOOL IN THE MORNING.

Amma says, OKAY.

Amma and Omari say, BYE, ISADORA!

Isadora, Amma and Omari share a hug.

Isadora says, BYE, OMARI! SEE YOU SOON, AMMA!

Isadora waves and runs to the car. Cordelia closes the back passenger door with Honey Blossom in her seat.

[Bartholomew sighing]

Bartholomew says, IT'S A LOVELY EVENING, ISN'T IT?

[Bartholomew gasping]

Bartholomew says, HEY. WHY DON'T YOU AND I FLY HOME?

Isadora says, NO!

Bartholomew and Cordelia frown.

Isadora says, I MEAN, NO, THANK YOU, DAD. I'LL GO HOME WITH MUM AND HONEY BLOSSOM IN THE CAR.

Bartholomew says, OH! HMM. OKAY, THEN. LET'S GO!

Bartholomew leaps into the air. In the car, Isadora rests her elbow against the window and her chin on her hand.

[Isadora sighing]

At night, under the full moon, Cordelia drives through the sky and leaves a trail of pink sparkles.

[Bubbles popping]

Bartholomew flies beside the car.

Bartholomew sings, LA-DA-DA-DEE-LA-DA-DA-DA!

Bartholomew flies ahead of the car. On a new day, in the school playground, a soccer ball soars through the air.

J.J. cheers, YEAH!

[Isadora giggling]

Zoe catches the ball with her foot.

[Zoe giggling]

Giggling, Zoe says, YES!

Zoe kicks the ball to J.J., who balances it on his foot and tosses it to Isadora.

Zoe says, TO ME!

Isadora kicks the ball to Zoe.

Zoe says, SHE SHOOTS! SHE SCORES!

Zoe kicks the ball over Isadora and J.J.

[Zoe giggling]

The ball bounces off the frame of a soccer net and over the school.

J.J. groans, OH, ZOE!

J.J. crosses his arms and says, GUESS THAT'S THE END OF THE GAME THEN.

Zoe says, WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT, J.J. ISADORA CAN JUST FLY UP AND GET THE BALL.

Isadora says, NO!

[Zoe gasping]

Isadora says, I MEAN, UM, OKAY.

[Isadora breathing deeply]

Isadora jumps and hovers a short distance above the ground.

[Isadora grunting]

Isadora drops onto her feet and says, OH. IT'S NO USE. I CAN'T!

Zoe asks, ISADORA, WHAT'S WRONG?

J.J. asks, HAVE YOU HURT YOUR WING?

Isadora says, NO. IT'S JUST, I'M SCARED.

J.J. asks, SCARED OF FLYING? SINCE WHEN?

Isadora says, SINCE I CRASHED INTO A BUSH TRYING TO DO A STUNT LAST NIGHT. AND NOW JUST THE THOUGHT OF FLYING MAKES MY TUMMY FEEL LIKE IT'S FULL OF ENORMOUS BUTTERFLIES.

Zoe says, DON'T WORRY. YOU'RE PROBABLY JUST A BIT SHAKEN UP.

J.J. says, YEAH! YOU'LL BE FLYING AGAIN IN LIKE NO SECONDS FLAT!

Zoe and J.J. put their arms around Isadora. Isadora steps away from them.

Isadora asks, BUT HOW DO YOU KNOW?

[Isadora sighing]

Isadora says, I WISH I WASN'T HALF-FAIRY, HALF-VAMPIRE. IF I WAS JUST ONE THING OR THE OTHER, I'D HAVE NO PROBLEM FLYING.

J.J. asks, WHAT DID YOUR MUM AND DAD SAY?

Isadora says, I DON'T WANT TO TELL THEM. WHAT ARE THEY GOING TO THINK WHEN THEY FIND OUT THEIR FAIRY-VAMPIRE DAUGHTER CAN'T FLY?

Isadora turns her back to Zoe and J.J.

Zoe says, WE JUST NEED TO HELP YOU GET OVER IT. LET'S START WITH SOMETHING SIMPLE.

Zoe glances at a basketball net and says, HMM.

Zoe smiles and says, FLY UP AND TOUCH THE BASKETBALL HOOP.

Isadora says, OH, OKAY.

Isadora walks over to the net.

J.J. cheers, YOU CAN DO IT! YES!

[Inspirational music plays]

Isadora looks up at the net and flaps her wings. She narrows and then briefly closes her eyes.

Isadora says, OH. I JUST CAN'T. LOOK, I'M REALLY GRATEFUL FOR THE HELP, BUT I THINK I NEED TO FIGURE THIS OUT ON MY OWN.

Isadora walks away and takes a seat on a bench.

[Isadora sighing]

J.J. says, UM, SO, NO FOOTBALL THEN?

[Zoe sighing]

At the Moon family mansion, the sun begins to set.

[Cordelia humming]

Inside, Isadora sits at the kitchen table with Pink Rabbit and moves her spoon around her bowl. At the kitchen island, Cordelia casts a spell, and a spoon starts moving in a mixing bowl on the counter.

Cordelia asks, ISADORA, SWEETHEART. COULD YOU FETCH ME SOME APPLES FROM THE GARDEN? I NEED THEM FOR DESSERT.

Isadora says, OKAY, MUM.

Isadora smiles and slides out of her seat. Pink Rabbit follows. In the backyard, Isadora gazes up at red apples in a tree.

Isadora says, HMM. HOW AM I GOING TO GET THE APPLES WITHOUT FLYING?

Pink Rabbit glances toward the house.

Isadora says, NO WAY! I'M NOT TELLING MUM I CAN'T FLY. I'LL HAVE TO FIGURE THIS OUT ON MY OWN. IF ONLY I WAS TALLER. MMM. WAIT! I DON'T NEED TO BE TALLER, I NEED TO BE SMALLER. THIS TREE MIGHT BE IMPOSSIBLE FOR A FAIRY-VAMPIRE TO CLIMB, BUT NOT FOR A KITTEN! ISN'T IT A GOOD JOB I CAN TURN INTO ONE?

Isadora closes her eyes and clenches her fists. A cloud of purple smoke and blue sparkles wraps around her, and she shapeshifts into a black and pink kitten.

[Isadora grunting]

As a kitten, Isadora says, CATS ARE FAMOUS FOR CLIMBING TREES, RIGHT?

Isadora leaps onto the tree and climbs to a branch.

[Isadora giggling]

Isadora swats at an apple with her paw.

[Isadora grunting]

[Isadora sighing]

Isadora says, OH. RIGHT. NO OPPOSABLE THUMBS. PICKING APPLES WITH PAWS IS NOT HAPPENING.

Pink Rabbit waves his arms.

Isadora says, ALL RIGHT, I'M COMING!

Isadora walks backward down the branch.

Isadora says, HOW DO I DO THIS BACKWARDS?

Isadora slips and yelps, WHOA!

Isadora grips the branch with her paws. Pink Rabbit slaps his face.

Isadora says, PINK RABBIT, I CAN'T! I'M STUCK! I FORGOT. CATS ARE ALSO FAMOUS FOR GETTING STUCK IN TREES.

Pink Rabbit runs toward the house.

Isadora yells, NO, PINK RABBIT! WAIT! PLEASE DON'T TELL, MUM!

Pink Rabbit runs inside through the greenhouse door.

[Isadora groaning]

A sparkly purple cloud wraps around Isadora. She shapeshifts back into her regular fairy-vampire self and sits on the branch.

[Isadora sighing]

Isadora says, I CAN FIGURE THIS OUT.

Pink Rabbit returns to the tree with a book with a bat on the cover.

Isadora says, HUH? "FLYING FOR BEGINNER VAMPIRES".

Pink Rabbit smiles.

Isadora says, OH, THANKS, PINK RABBIT, BUT THAT'S NOT GOING TO HELP!

Pink Rabbit frowns.

Isadora says, I KNOW HOW TO FLY. I'M JUST TOO SCARED TO DO IT.

From nearby, Oscar the ghost says, ISADORA, HELLO!

Oscar hovers near a tower in the mansion.

Oscar says, I DIDN'T KNOW YOU LIKED SITTING IN TREES! I LOVE SITTING IN TREES!

Oscar joins Isadora on the tree branch.

Isadora says, OSCAR! I'M NOT SITTING HERE BECAUSE I WANT TO. I'M STUCK!

Oscar says, HUH? WELL, WHY DON'T YOU JUST FLY DOWN?

Isadora says, I CAN'T! I'M SCARED.

Oscar says, SCARED OF FLYING? BUT IT'S SO EASY!

Oscar flies around the yard.

Oscar cheers, WOO!

[Oscar giggling]

Oscar says, SEE? NOT SCARY AT ALL!

Isadora says, NOT SCARY FOR YOU MAYBE. THANKS, OSCAR, BUT I NEED TO GET OVER THIS ON MY OWN.

[Wind gusting]

A gust of wind blows leaves past Isadora, and she hugs herself.

Isadora says, I'M COLD.

Pink Rabbit hugs himself.

[Pink Rabbit shivering]

[Isadora’s stomach gurgling]

Isadora says, AND HUNGRY.

Oscar says, YOU'RE LUCKY! I HAVEN'T BEEN COLD OR HUNGRY FOR 200 YEARS!

Isadora says, I'M SORRY, OSCAR. BUT WHAT IF I'M STUCK UP HERE FOREVER?

Oscar says, I DON'T MIND SITTING WITH YOU.

Oscar sits on the branch beside Isadora, and Isadora smiles.

On the ground below, Cordelia says, HAVE FUN FLYING.

Bartholomew and Cordelia stand at the back door with their arms around each other.

Cordelia adds, AND BE BACK BEFORE DINNER.

Bartholomew and Cordelia share a kiss.

Bartholomew says, AH! YOU MEAN BREAKFAST!

[Bartholomew and Cordelia chuckling]

Cordelia says, WILL I EVER GET USED TO THAT?

[Bartholomew sighing happily]

Bartholomew says, SUCH A LOVELY EVENING. OOH! MAYBE ISADORA WOULD LIKE TO COME FLY WITH ME!

Cordelia says, HMM. ACTUALLY, WHERE IS ISADORA? I SENT HER TO FETCH SOME APPLES, BUT THAT WAS AGES AGO.

Cordelia frowns and looks around the yard.

Bartholomew says, OH. HMM.

[Oscar whistling a tune]

Isadora covers her eyes.

Bartholomew says, ISADORA! IS THAT YOU UP THERE?

Cordelia spots Isadora and says, OH! YOU'RE COMMUNING WITH NATURE!

Isadora says, YEAH, SOMETHING LIKE THAT.

Oscar says, OH, NO. I THOUGHT YOU SAID YOU WERE SITTING UP HERE BECAUSE YOU WERE TOO SCARED TO FLY DOWN.

Isadora says, OSCAR!

Cordelia and Bartholomew fly over to the tree.

Bartholomew says, TOO SCARED TO FLY? ISADORA, WHAT IS GOING ON?

Isadora says, IT'S TRUE. I AM SCARED TO FLY.

Bartholomew says, SOUNDS TO ME LIKE YOU'VE GOT A CASE OF THE FLIGHT FRIGHTS.

Bartholomew and Cordelia fly up to Isadora and join her on the tree branch.

Isadora says, FLIGHT FRIGHTS?

Bartholomew says, UH-HUH. TELL YOUR DAD WHAT HAPPENED.

Isadora says, IT WAS YESTERDAY WITH OMARI AND AMMA. WE WERE DOING STUNTS, BUT I MESSED UP AND CRASHED INTO A BUSH.

Cordelia says, OH, ISADORA! WHY DIDN'T YOU SAY ANYTHING? WERE YOU HURT?

Isadora says, NO, BUT I'VE BEEN SCARED TO FLY EVER SINCE. I'M SORRY. YOU MUST THINK I'M SUCH A FAILURE.

Cordelia says, NEVER!

Bartholomew says, THAT IS RIDICULOUS!

Isadora says, I'M SURE IF I WAS FULL VAMPIRE OR FULL FAIRY I WOULDN'T BE SCARED.

[Bartholomew chuckling]

Bartholomew says, I WOULDN'T BE SO SURE!

[Bartholomew briefly chuckling]

Bartholomew says, I REMEMBER WHEN I HAD THE CASE OF THE FLIGHT FRIGHTS.

Isadora says, REALLY?

Bartholomew says, OH, YES! I WAS TRYING TO BEAT THE SCHOOL RECORD FOR FLYING BACKWARDS, AND…

[Bartholomew laughing]

Bartholomew says, …I FLEW RIGHT INTO A WALL. TOOK ME AGES TO GET UP THE NERVE TO FLY AGAIN.

Isadora says, YOU WERE SCARED OF FLYING? BUT YOU'RE A FULL-VAMPIRE!

Cordelia says, FAIRIES CAN GET FLIGHT FRIGHT TOO. ALTHOUGH, NOT AS OFTEN AS VAMPIRES.

Cordelia glances at Bartholomew, who smiles and shakes his head.

Cordelia says, FAIRIES ARE MUCH MORE SENSIBLE.

[Cordelia giggling]

Cordelia says, WE PREFER HOVERING AND FLUTTERING.

Cordelia flutters her wings.

Bartholomew says, HOVERING AND FLUTTERING! THAT IS NOT FLYING.

[Bartholomew chuckling]

[Cordelia giggling]

Cordelia says, IT'S OKAY TO FEEL SCARED AFTER AN ACCIDENT.

Bartholomew says, FEAR IS PART OF BEING ALIVE. AS IS THE THRILL WHEN YOU GET OVER THAT FEAR.

[Isadora giggling]

Isadora says, I MUST BE VERY ALIVE AS I'M VERY SCARED.

[Cordelia and Bartholomew laughing]

Cordelia says, IT'S ALSO OKAY TO ACCEPT A HELPING HAND TO GET YOU GOING AGAIN.

Isadora says, THANKS, MUM. THANKS, DAD.

Isadora smiles. She takes Cordelia and Bartholomew’s hands and frowns.

[Isadora sighing]

Isadora smiles and says, LET'S DO THIS!

Isadora flies down from the tree with Cordelia and Bartholomew.

Isadora says, I FLEW! PINK RABBIT! I'M NOT GROUNDED FOREVER!

Isadora picks up Pink Rabbit and spins him around.

[Bartholomew sighing happily]

Bartholomew says, IT'S A LOVELY EVENING, ISN'T IT?

Bartholomew gazes up at the evening sky.

Bartholomew asks, SO, DO YOU FANCY A LITTLE TWILIGHT FLIGHT BEFORE DINNER?

Isadora nods and says, MMM-HMM. AS LONG AS YOU'RE THERE TO HOLD MY HAND.

Isadora takes Bartholomew’s hand, and they take off into the sky.

Bartholomew cheers, YES!

Isadora cheers, WAHOO!

[Bartholomew chuckling]
