Mignonette flies to a planter of violets.
Isadora says, OH, YES. I LOVE VIOLETS.
[Primrose laughing]

Primrose says, UH-OH, THAT LOOKS LIKE A RAINCLOUD.
[Gasping]
The raincloud floats towards the fluffy dandelions.
Primrose says, AND IT'S QUITE CLOSE TO THE FLUFFY DANDELIONS. HERE, LET ME MAGIC A BUBBLE UP QUICKLY SO WE DON'T RUIN THEM.
Isadora says, YOU MEAN SO I DON'T RUIN THEM.
[Chiming, popping]
A bubble appears around the fluffy dandelions, and Isadora rolls her eyes.
Isadora says, UGH!
Primrose says, COME ON, ISADORA. YOU CAN MAKE BUBBLES TOO.
[Chiming]
Isadora encases herself in a large bubble.
Isadora says, OH! OH, NO!
Mignonette says, OH, MY!
Primrose says, UM, ISADORA, STAY CALM. I THINK I CAN HELP.
Isadora says, NO, THANK YOU. I CAN GET OUT OF THIS MYSELF.
[Isadora sighing, boinging, lively music plays]
Isadora bounces across the grass in the bubble.
Isadora says, WHOA!
[Primrose gasping]
Isadora says, WHOA, WHOA, WHOA!
[Pages rustling]
Mignonette says, OH, "FAIRY KIDS TRAPPED IN BUBBLES" DOESN'T SEEM TO BE IN THIS BOOK.
Isadora says, WHOA! WHOA!
[Wind gusting, gasping]
The wind blows the bubble into the air.
Isadora says, OH, NO!
Primrose says, ISADORA!
[Chiming, rustling]
Primrose casts a spell, and a vine grows and grabs the bubble.
Isadora says, WHOA!
[Chiming, squishing]
Isadora says, HUH?
Primrose says, OH, DEAR. I DON'T KNOW ANY FAIRY MAGIC THAT CAN POP A BUBBLE THIS BIG AND STRONG.
Isadora says, I THOUGHT YOU KNEW EVERYTHING ABOUT FAIRY MAGIC!
[Light music plays]
Primrose says, NOT EVEN CLOSE. HM, MAYBE WE COULD CALL FOR MY DAD AND AUNT CORDELIA.
Isadora says, NO, I WANT TO DO THIS MYSELF. I WANT TO SHOW I CAN BE JUST AS GOOD AS YOU, PRIMROSE.
Primroses asks, WHAT DO YOU MEAN? YOU'RE JUST AS GOOD AS ME.
[Birds chirping]
Isadora says, NO, I'M NOT. MY TULIP TURNED BACK TO YELLOW. MY FLOWER MUSIC WAS TERRIBLE. AND NOW I'VE GOT MYSELF STUCK IN THIS BIG BUBBLE!
[Boinging, gasping]
Isadora tumbles inside the bubble.
Isadora says, WHOA!
[Primrose gasping]
Primrose flies up to the bubble.
Primrose says, OH! ISADORA, YOU CAN DO LOADS OF FAIRY MAGIC AND INCREDIBLE VAMPIRE THINGS, LIKE SPEED-FLYING AND SHAPE-SHIFTING. I THINK YOU'RE AMAZING.
Isadora says, WHAT? WOW! YOU DO? I GUESS HAVING FAIRY MAGIC AND VAMPIRE TALENTS IS PRETTY COOL.
[Bubbling, birds chirping, Primrose gasping]
The bubble jiggles.
Primrose says, DID YOU SEE THAT? THE BUBBLE'S GETTING WEAKER. SAY SOMETHING ELSE GOOD ABOUT YOURSELF.
Isadora says, UH, I AM GOOD AT FLYING?
[Bubbling, Isadora gasping, light music continues]
The bubble jiggles.
Primrose says, WHOA.
Mignonette says, IT'S WORKING, ISADORA.
Isadora says, I THINK MAYBE BEING MEAN TO MYSELF HAS MADE THE BUBBLE REALLY MEAN, AND REALLY HARD TO GET OUT OF.
[Birds singing]
Mignonette says, MOODY MAGIC CAN CAUSE A LOT OF PROBLEMS.
Isadora says, WELL, I'M NOT GREAT AT MAGIC, SO I GET CROSS WITH MYSELF. THEN SEEING HOW GOOD YOU ARE, PRIMROSE, MADE ME FEEL A BIT JEALOUS.
Primrose says, AW, ISADORA, I PRACTISE A LOT AND GO TO FAIRY SCHOOL WHERE LEARN MAGIC ALL DAY. YOU GO TO HUMAN SCHOOL AND LEARN DIFFERENT STUFF.
Isadora says, HM. I GUESS.
Mignonette says, ISADORA, I'VE PRACTISED A LOT OF DIFFERENT THINGS. SOMETIMES I'M GOOD AT THEM, BUT A LOT OF THE TIME I'M NOT. LIKE BEIN' A DELIVERY FAIRY.
[Both giggling]
Mignonette says, BUT, IT DOESN'T MATTER, 'CAUSE THE THING I'M BEST AT IS BEIN' ME.
[Isadora laughing]
Isadora says, I'M GREAT AT BEING ME, TOO, HALF-FAIRY, HALF-VAMPIRE.
[Bubbling, Isadora grunting, bubble squeaking, sighing]
Isadora pushes the side of the bubble.
Isadora says, BUT THAT CAN'T GET ME OUT OF THIS BUBBLE.
[Gasping, upbeat music plays]
Isadora says, OR, CAN IT? IF THERE ISN'T ANY FAIRY MAGIC THAT CAN GET ME OUT OF THIS, MAYBE THERE'S SOMETHING VAMPIREY I CAN DO.
[Chiming, scratching, grunting, popping, Primrose and Mignonette gasping]
Isadora turns into a cat and scratches the side of the bubble. It pops, and Isadora lands on the grass.
Primrose cheers, YAY!
[Isadora laughing]
The vine shrinks and recedes into the ground.
Primrose says, WOW, ISADORA!
[Mignonette laughing, chiming]
Isadora changes back into her human form.
Isadora says, TA-DA!
Primrose says, THAT'S THE COOLEST THING I'VE EVER SEEN!
Isadora says, THANKS, PRIMROSE.
[Both laughing]
Isadora and Primrose hug.
[Upbeat music plays]
Bartholomew says, CORDELIA, HELP! PLEASE!
The back door opens, and Bartholomew floats out upside down. Cordelia grabs his hand.
Cordelia says, OH, WE SPILLED A SAMPLE OF UNCLE ALVIN'S SUPER FLOATY HAIR CONDITIONER ON DAD'S SHOES.
Alvin says, THE GOOD NEWS IS IT REALLY WORKS.
[Children laughing, chiming]
Isadora says, MAYBE I COULD TRY A BIT OF MAGIC.
Bartholomew says, AH, THANK YOU.
[Chiming]
Isadora casts a spell on the shoes.
Bartholomew says, WHAT?
[Bartholomew yelling, sighing happily]
Bartholomew falls, turning so he lands on his feet.
Isadora says, I MADE HIS SHOES AS HEAVY AS THE LEAST FLOATY THING I COULD THINK OF. ROCKS!
Bartholomew says, OH, THANK YOU.
Bartholomew leans towards Isadora, and his shoes do not move.
Bartholomew says, AH. ISADORA, HELP.
[Leather creaking]
Bartholomew says, I'M STUCK.
[Birds chirping]
Isadora says, OOPS. I WAS BETTER AT MAGIC THAN I THOUGHT.

[Everyone laughing, popping, upbeat music plays]
