Isadora Moon.

Descriptive Transcript.

[Upbeat music plays]

DESCRIPTION: In an animation, stars twinkle in the night sky over a pink and white castle. Some of the turrets are grey and black, and others are pink and white. Isadora Moon flies up in front of the full moon and waves her wand. She has long black hair, pink bat-like wings, and two sharp fangs. Isadora wears a grey sweater over a pink dress with black stars on the skirt. She wears black-and-white striped leggings and pink boots.

[Song] Isadora Moon, the one and only, here I go. I'm totally unique and extra-starry. Waving my wand, flying fearlessly, yeah.

DESCRIPTION: Isadora stands with her parents, Countess Cordelia Moon and Count Bartholomew Moon. Cordelia has long, curly, pink hair and wears flowers in it. She has transparent, butterfly-like green wings and wears a green sweater and a pink dress. Bartholomew has short black hair and fangs. He wears a long black-and-purple cape, grey pants, and a grey-striped vest over a red shirt.

[Song] It's your girl, Isadora, a little bit of both, half a vampire, half a fairy.

DESCRIPTION: Isadora holds Pink Rabbit’s paw as she flies. Isadora transforms into a mermaid, then into a grey-and-pink cat.

[Opening Credits] Written by Jen Upton. Theme song by Helen Park. Series Director, William Gordon. Based on the Isadora Moon Books and Characters by Harriet Muncaster.

[Song] Ready for a new, exciting journey, sparkly and extraordinary. Yeah, that's me, Isadora. Watch me be.

[Title] Isadora Moon.

[Episode Title] Primrose’s Bluebells.

[Light music plays]

DESCRIPTION: In a forest, Isadora and Cordelia dance. Cordelia carries a picnic basket as she follows Isadora.

CORDELIA: Woo!

[Cordelia giggles, Isadora gasps]

DESCRIPTION: Bartholomew walks behind Cordelia, carrying Honey Blossom. Pink Rabbit runs past him towards Isadora.

ISADORA: Our family Spring Festival in the woods is the best!

[Cordelia giggles, whooshes]

DESCRIPTION: Isadora twirls, then runs ahead of her parents and her sister.

CORDELIA: Isn't it? I'm so looking forward to seeing Alvin and Seraphina and your cousins.

BARTHOLOMEW: And I'm looking forward to tasting your fairy fruit pops.

[The music stops]

CORDELIA: Not too many, darling.

[She chuckles]

CORDELIA: Remember last year?

[Happy music plays, whoosh]

DESCRIPTION: Isadora dances with Pink Rabbit, following her. She twirls.

ISADORA: Oh, I remember last year. I found the first bluebell of the season and was crowned Spring Princess.

[She giggles]

DESCRIPTION: Pink Rabbit bows to Isadora.

ISADORA: I really want to do it again this year. Come on!

DESCRIPTION: Isadora gestures at Pink Rabbit, and they run ahead.

BARTHOLOMEW: I have never seen anyone move so fast for a bluebell.

[Whoosh, upbeat music plays]

DESCRIPTION: The family arrives in a clearing. Seraphina stands at a table laden with fruit and drinks on top while Alvin floats near a string of flowers hanging around the clearing. Mirabelle sits on a large chair decorated with flowers, while Primrose and Wilbur stand on each side.

SERAPHINA: Ah, Cordelia. Bartholomew.

CORDELIA: Seraphina. Mwah, mwah.

DESCRIPTION: Cordelia and Seraphina kiss each other’s cheeks. Alvin flies down and lays his palms against Cordelia’s.

CORDELIA: And Alvin. So good to see you.

[Alvin chuckles]

ALVIN: You too, sis.

[Wilbur grunts]

DESCRIPTION: Wilbur pulls on Mirabelle’s arm.

ISADORA: Hi.

MIRABELLE AND PRIMROSE: Hi, Isadora.

[Wilbur grunts]

DESCRIPTION: Wilbur pulls on Mirabelle’s arm.

WILBUR: You're not the Spring Princess!

MIRABELLE: Not yet.

DESCRIPTION: Wilbur pulls Mirabelle off the flower chair, and they both fall.

WILBUR: Whoa!

[Hand taps]

DESCRIPTION: Isadora flies to Wilbur and pulls him to his feet.

ISADORA: Actually, I'm going to be the first to find a bluebell again.

[Upbeat music plays]

DESCRIPTION: Wilbur runs to the flower chair and sits on it.

WILBUR: Not if I have anything to do with it, and when I'm crowned Spring Prince, I'll order everyone to be my servants. You'll all have to bring me food and do as I say, or I'll turn you into slugs.

[Primrose chuckles]

PRIMROSE: That's horrible, Wilbur. Why not order everyone to do something nice, like play fairy hide-and-seek?

[Wilbur scoffs]

WILBUR: 'Cause I'm not a fairy. I'm a wizard, and she's a witch.

MIRABELLE: And being a witch means I'm definitely going to win. Flotus potus.

[Magic chimes, eyedropper drips]

DESCRIPTION: Mirabelle drips a potion from an eyedropper onto Wilbur, and he floats out of the chair. He grabs to the back of the chair and his feet fly up over his head.

WILBUR: Mirabelle! Let me down!

MIRABELLE: Okay.

[Mirabelle claps, thunk, Wilbur grunts, Primrose sighs]

DESCRIPTION: Mirabelle ends the spell, and Wilbur falls back onto the chair.

[Sad music plays]

PRIMROSE: I've always dreamed of being Spring Princess, but I've never found the first bluebell.

[The music stops]

ISADORA: Oh, you'll find one.

[Fanfare plays, birds chirp]

DESCRIPTION: Alvin plays a horn and then lowers it.

[Upbeat music plays]

ALVIN: Fairies and fairy-friends, the time has come for the annual bluebell hunt.

[Children cheer]

ALVIN: Whoever's first to find a bluebell will be crowned Spring Prince or Princess. I wish you all luck, and remember, no magic.

DESCRIPTION: Alvin looks at Mirabelle, and she smiles.

ALVIN: Now, off you go!

[Fanfare plays, children laugh, cheer]

DESCRIPTION: Alvin plays his horn, and Wilbur, Mirabelle, and Primrose run into the forest. Isadora turns to Pink Rabbit.

ISADORA: You know what, Pink Rabbit? How about we help Primrose try to win? She's never won before, and it would make her so happy.

[Whoosh]

DESCRIPTION: Pink Rabbit smiles and follows Isadora into the forest. Near a tree, Primrose writes in a notebook. She kneels and touches the grass.

PRIMROSE: Hm. Partial shade. Moist soil. This is the optimal place.

ISADORA: Primrose!

PRIMROSE: Hi, Isadora. I've been researching the habitats of bluebells.

[Primrose sighs, birds sing, light music plays]

PRIMROSE: But I still haven't found one.

ISADORA: So, Primrose, as I won the bluebell hunt last year, Pink Rabbit and I thought this year, maybe we could help you try to win.

[Primrose gasps]

PRIMROSE: That would be fantastic. Although, is that in the rules?

ISADORA: Mm, we're not using magic, are we?

[Primrose chuckles]

Okay. Let's win this.

PRIMROSE: Ooh, there's an oak tree near here with prime bluebell growing conditions.

[Whoosh, the music stops, birds chirp]

DESCRIPTION: Primrose flies to the oak tree, and Isadora and Pink Rabbit follow her.

ISADORA: What'll be your first rule of command, Primrose, when you're crowned Spring Princess?

[Upbeat music plays]

PRIMROSE: Ooh, I haven't thought about it. Maybe order an extra fairy fruit pop? Or I could be it in fairy tag.

[Whoosh]

DESCRIPTION: Isadora flies and twirls.

ISADORA: Primrose, you need to think bigger! What about strawberries with loads of fairy nectar? Or how about you make all the grown-ups play fairy hide and seek with us?

PRIMROSE: Gosh! Oh, maybe I could insist that everyone does a silly dance.

[Wilbur chuckles]

DESCRIPTION: Wilbur arrives.

WILBUR: I'm definitely not doing silly dancing.

[Whoosh]

DESCRIPTION: Isadora twirls.

ISADORA: Sorry, Wilbur. Get ready to dance, because me and Pink Rabbit are helping Primrose win.

WILBUR: Hey! That's not fair!

PRIMROSE: Oh, dear. Maybe it isn't fair.

MIRABELLE, DISTANTLY: Star spell wishing well. Bring me spring's first bluebell.

ISADORA: That sounds like Mirabelle.

[Tense music plays]

PRIMROSE: Casting a spell!

WILBUR: Now, that definitely isn't fair!

[Potion bubbles]

DESCRIPTION: Wilbur runs to a clearing, and Primrose and Isadora follow. Mirabelle uses her eyedropper over a cauldron.

WILBUR: Mirabelle! You're using magic!

PRIMROSE: That's cheating.

[Mirabelle gasps]

MIRABELLE: Is it? When Dad said "no magic," I guessed he meant fairy magic, not witch magic.

ISADORE: Mirabelle, you know Uncle Alvin meant all magic.

[Upbeat music plays]

MIRABELLE: Well, you snooze, you lose, and casting spells is what witches do.

[Gentle music plays]

PRIMROSE: And winning is what fairies do. We're going to find a bluebell without breaking any rules.

[Upbeat music plays, birds sing]

MIRABELLE: You better be quick. My spell's almost done, then I'll be Spring Princess and order you guys to, uh, do a crazy dance for me in front of everyone.

WILBUR: No way! That's not fair!

ISADORA: Wilbur's right, if you're going to use magic, then so will we.

DESCRIPTION: Pink Rabbit tugs on Isadora’s skirt. He puts his hands on his hips and shakes his head.

PRIMROSE: But it's against the rules!

[Whoosh]

ISADORA: I don't care. Watch this.

[Magic chimes, Wilbur giggles]

DESCRIPTION: Isadora casts a spell, and a pink bluebell grows at her feet.

WILBUR: Uh, we're hunting for bluebells, Isadora, not pinkbells.

[Slide whistle, magic chimes]

DESCRIPTION: The bluebells disappear. Isadora lifts her wand.

PRIMROSE: Isadora, stop. Two wrongs don't make a right.

[Magic chimes, Mirabelle laughs]

DESCRIPTION: Isadora casts a spell on the ground.

MIRABELLE: That fairy magic really is amazing, Isadora.

[Rumbling, tense music plays]

DESCRIPTION: Pink Rabbit taps Isadora. She glances down, and he points behind her. Primrose and Wilbur look behind Isadora with wide eyes.

PRIMROSE: Uh, Isadora...

WILBUR: You're going to want to see this.

ISADORA: Oh!

DESCRIPTION: Isadora turns and watches a wave of bluebells approach. She hovers in the air as the bluebells knock everyone else over.

WILBUR: Whoa!

ISADORA: Primrose, are you okay? Wilbur, Mirabelle.

WILBUR: Now, that's what I call magic.

[Cauldron clanks, upbeat music plays]

DESCRIPTION: Mirabelle stands, and her cauldron falls off her head.

MIRABELLE: That was amazing!

PRIMROSE: Fairy magic can be pretty powerful.

MIRABELLE: I noticed.

[Tense music plays]

DESCRIPTION: Isadora points.

ISADORA: The bluebells! They're heading for the picnic.

[Bluebells whoosh]

DESCRIPTION: The wave of bluebells moves away from the children.

PRIMROSE: Oh, no!

[The music stops]

ISADORA: We've got to stop them before they flatten everything.

WILBUR: You magicked it up. Can't you just reverse the magic?

ISADORA: I don't know how!

PRIMROSE: We just need to work together.

[Upbeat music plays]

ISADORA: I've got vampire speed. I'll fly ahead and try to slow them down.

MIRABELLE: She's fast.

PRIMROSE: Let's go!

[Whoosh, whoosh, bluebells rustle, upbeat music plays]

DESCRIPTION: Wilbur and Mirabelle follow Primrose on their broomsticks. Pink Rabbit stands beside Wilbur’s staff on the ground. At the picnic, Bartholomew throws Honey Blossom in the air and catches her.

BARTHOLOMEW: Where are those children? How hard can it be to find a bluebell?

[Honey Blossom giggles, Bartholomew sniffs]

DESCRIPTION: Bartholomew sniffs the back of Honey Blossom’s diaper with his mouth downturned.
[Whoosh, bluebells rumble, whoosh, adventure music plays, magic chimes, rumbling]

DESCRIPTION: In the forest, Isadora flies ahead of the bluebell wave. She casts a spell, and the bluebells stop.

ISADORA: Yes! But I can't hold it for long!

DESCRIPTION: Primrose casts a spell at the bluebells and hovers beside Isadora.

PRIMROSE: Hold my hand. We'll do this together.

[Isadora grunts, whoosh]

DESCRIPTION: Mirabelle and Wilbur arrive on their broomsticks.

ISADORA: It stopped! Now what?

PRIMROSE: Not sure.

MIRABELLE: I know!

[Whoosh]

DESCRIPTION: Mirabelle and Wilbur land in front of the bluebell wave.

MIRABELLE: Just hold on for a bit longer. I'll whip up a spell to banish the bluebells.

[Whoosh, magic chimes, Isadora grunts]

DESCRIPTION: Mirabelle takes out her cauldron and her potion box.

ISADORA: Hurry, Mirabelle!

[Potion bubbles]

DESCRIPTION: Mirabelle adds ingredients to the bubbling potion in her cauldron.

MIRABELLE: I'm going to need leech slime, lacewings-- Oh, no! I haven't got any stinkwort.

[Whoosh, magic chimes]

DESCRIPTION: Wilbur offers Mirabelle stinkwort, and she adds it to the potion.

MIRABELLE: Ah. Thanks, Wilbur.

WILBUR: Never leave home without it.

[Adventure music plays]

ISADORA: I can't hold on.

MIRABELLE: Nearly there.

[Magic chimes, whoosh]

DESCRIPTION: Mirabelle watches the last bit of sand flow to the bottom of an hourglass, then gives Isadora and Primrose a thumbs-up. She lifts green magic out of the cauldron.

MIRABELLE: Bluebells stop! Go with a pop.

[Bluebells pop, Honey Blossom munches, light music plays]

DESCRIPTION: At the picnic, Bartholomew holds Honey Blossom on his knees as Cordelia feeds her.

BARTHOLOMEW: Hm? Did you hear something?

CORDELIA: Hm, I don't think so.

[Hands slap]

DESCRIPTION: In the forest, the children high-five. Pink Rabbit runs to them.

ISADORA: Pink Rabbit, we did it!

DESCRIPTION: Pink Rabbit smiles.

[Upbeat music plays]

PRIMROSE: You did it, with your vampire flying.

MIRABELLE: Combined with your fairy magic. Amazing.

[Isadora giggles]

ISADORA: I couldn't have done it without your fairy magic, too, Primrose. Oh, and your witch spell.

WILBUR: And my stinkwort.

ISADORA: And your stinkwort, Wilbur. I'm sorry I magicked up the bluebells. You were right, Primrose. Two wrongs don't make a right.

MIRABELLE: Although, it was loads of fun.

WILBUR: Best Spring Festival ever.

ISADORA: But now none of us have bluebells.

WILBUR: What if you vanished them away with your spell?

MIRABELLE: I can't have! It only works on magic bluebells, not real ones.

PRIMROSE: It's a shame we didn't find one.

DESCRIPTION: Pink Rabbit runs to Isadora, pulls on her skirt, and points.

ISADORA: What's wrong, Pink Rabbit?

[Isadora gasps]

DESCRIPTION: A sunbeam shines on a bluebell.

ISADORA: It's a—

DESCRIPTION: Isadora and Mirabelle glance at each other.

[Upbeat music plays]

MIRABELLE: Wow, Primrose. Is that a baby glitter dragon in the bush behind you?

PRIMROSE: A dragon? Where?

DESCRIPTION: Primrose turns around and flaps her wings.

PRIMROSE: Wait, it's not a glitter dragon.

[Whoosh]

DESCRIPTION: Primrose flies to the bluebell.

PRIMROSE: It's a bluebell! The first bluebell of spring.

ISADORA: Primrose, I can't believe you found it! You're going to be the Spring Princess.

DESCRIPTION: Primrose holds up her notebook.

PRIMROSE: And I didn't even need this.

ISADORA: Come on, let's tell your dad you found it.

DESCRIPTION: Later, Primrose sits on the flower chair, and Alvin puts a floral wreath on her head.

ALVIN: I now pronounce Primrose Spring Princess.

ISADORA: YEAH!

MIRABELLE: You're amazing!

WILBUR: Woo-hoo!

ISADORA: I'm so proud!

WILBUR: Woo-hoo! So, what's your first royal command?

PRIMROSE: I think I'd like you all to do a silly dance for me.

[Primrose chuckles, wand whooshes, upbeat music plays, flower plays upbeat music]

DESCRIPTION: Alvin takes out his wand and casts a spell on a flower. Alvin dances the robot, while Wilbur, Mirabelle, Isadora, and Pink Rabbit dance silly dances beside Mirabelle. Cordelia does the cannonball move from the swim dance.

PRIMROSE: Okay!

[Whoosh]

DESCRIPTION: Isadora picks up Pink Rabbit and flies around the clearing as everyone dances beneath them.

PRIMROSE: Go on! Woo-hoo!

[Cheers, giggles]

[Pop, upbeat music plays]
