[Leaves rustling]

[Wilbur giggling]

[Wilbur giggling]
DESCRIPTION: The mansion doors open, and Isadora flies out with Cordelia and J.J.
ISADORA: Wilbur, you're here!
DESCRIPTION: Isadora and J.J. meet Wilbur and his mum on the sidewalk. Wilbur’s mum waves to Cordelia.
ISADORA: Yay!

J.J.: Hey, Wilbur.
WILBUR: J.J.! Hi. I didn't know you'd be here, too.
J.J.: Oh, yeah!
DESCRIPTION: Cordelia flies down to the sidewalk.
WILBUR’S MUM: Thanks for letting Wilbur stay while we're away with Mirabelle at the potions parlour.
CORDELIA: Oh, we're delighted to have him.
WILBUR’S MUM: Maybe you can convince him to do some cleaning up with his broom instead of flying around on it.
WILBUR: Mum…
ISADORA: Come on!
DESCRIPTION: Isadora flies back to the house. J.J. runs after her. Wilbur starts to follow, then turns back to his mum. He hugs his mum and smiles.

WILBUR: I will. Bye!

J.J.: Wilbur, please do some magic.
ISADORA: Oh, I love your wizard magic, Wilbur.
DESCRIPTION: Wilbur pulls out his staff.
WILBUR: Hmm. What magic should I do? I'm good at so many magical things it's hard to choose.
J.J.: Um, remember when you turned me into a frog? That was really awesome.
ISADORA: Oh, yes. Turn something into a frog.
WILBUR: Um, a pretty flower you may be, but now you're a frog in a tree!
DESCRIPTION: Wilbur points his staff at a flower, and the green orb on the end glows. Swirls of light wrap around the flower, and the flower soars into the sky. Wilbur frowns. The flower flies away, and Oscar the ghost appears.
OSCAR: Hi, Isadora. What are you doing, and can I do it, too?
DESCRIPTION: The flower flies past Oscar.
OSCAR: Oh. Oh!
DESCRIPTION: The flower flies around Oscar. Oscar floats down to Isadora, Wilbur and J.J.
OSCAR: Ooh! Oh, well. There is nothing like being bombarded with flowers when you make your entrance.
WILBUR: Uh, that wasn't supposed to happen. Let me try again. Not a flower, not a log. Watering can, become a frog.
DESCRIPTION: Wilbur points his staff at a watering can, and the watering can turns into a rabbit. The rabbit hops across the yard.
[Gasping]
WILBUR: What?! Oh.
ISADORA: Well, it hops like a frog.
OSCAR: And yet it's not.
J.J.: So cool!
ISADORA: Yes. I love rabbits.

OSCAR: A boot.
WILBUR: Frog!

OSCAR: A bigger boot.
WILBUR GROANING: Oh!
ISADORA: Don't worry, Wilbur. We'll figure out what's going on. Mum, Mum?
DESCRIPTION: Cordelia walks out the back door.
ISADORA: Wilbur's magic isn't working.
WILBUR: Look. I'll try to turn that apple into a frog.
DESCRIPTION: Wilbur points his staff at an apple in a tree, and the apple turns into a butterfly.
WILBUR: A butterfly?!
OSCAR: Very strange. He can magic bunnies and boots and butterflies, but no frogs.
CORDELIA: Hmm. I'm not quite sure what's going on here, Wilbur. How about we give your mum a call? I'm sure she'll know exactly what to do.
DESCRIPTION: Inside, in the entryway with Isadora, J.J., Oscar and Cordelia, Wilbur stands before the Moon’s crystal ball talking to his Mum.
WILBUR: And then, it turned into a butterfly, Mum. A butterfly! I meant to make it a frog. My magic, it's, it's... wonky?
WILBUR’S MUM: Wonky. Hmm. It sounds like you have a case of the wonky wobbles.
WILBUR: Wonky wobbles?!
WILBUR’S MUM: Most witches and wizards get a case of them at some point.
OSCAR: I don’t remember my old friend Merlin ever having wonky wobbles, and he was a wizard.
ISADORA: Oscar!
WILBUR’S MUM: Sometimes, when a witch or wizard has been overdoing it a bit, their magic can go wonky. I did warn you about overdoing it.
WILBUR: I didn't know this would happen!
WILBUR’S MUM: Oh, it's okay, Wilbur. You just need to avoid doing any magic for a day, and the wonky wobbles will be gone, and you'll be as good as new. You can do that, can't you?
WILBUR: No magic for a whole day?
DESCRIPTION: In the backyard with Isadora, J.J. and Oscar, Wilbur paces.
WILBUR: I've never gone a whole day without magic. What am I supposed to do?
J.J.: I know!
WILBUR: No magic? That is the worst.
ISADORA: Um…
DESCRIPTION: Isadora glances at J.J.
ISADORA: I know what. I won't use my wand all day, either.
DESCRIPTION: Isadora flies to the back door with her wand.
ISADORA: Mum, please look after my wand. I'm not doing magic today.
DESCRIPTION: Isadora flies inside.
CORDELIA FROM INSIDE: Of course, darling.
DESCRIPTION: Isadora flies back outside and drops to the ground between J.J. and Wilbur.
ISADORA: It's just one day, Wilbur. I do loads of fun and magical things with my school friends.
WILBUR: Humph. I don't. Mine are wizards.
ISADORA: I'm sure we'll find something non-magical that you like.
WILBUR: Like what?
OSCAR: Jousting! Wilbur, if you could just magic up a couple of horses –
ISADORA: Oscar!
OSCAR: Oh, right. Yes. Wonky wobbles. My mistake. Terribly sorry.
DESCRIPTION: Wilbur rolls his eyes.
[Isadora gasping]
ISADORA: I know! How about a game of dodgeball? It's loads of fun, and no magic needed.
J.J.: I love dodgeball! It's one of my favourite games.
OSCAR: Oh, yes! Dodgeball sounds positively splendid!
[Wilbur sighing]
WILBUR: Sure. Dodgeball, I guess.
OSCAR: A teeny, tiny question. Um, what is dodgeball, exactly?
ISADORA: You see, someone throws a ball, and you have to dodge out of the way of it. Super-easy and super-fun.
DESCRIPTION: J.J. holds up a red dodge ball.
J.J.: Ready, set, dodgeball!
DESCRIPTION: J.J. throws the ball across the yard, and it soars through Oscar.
OSCAR: Ooh! Well, this dodgeball is a jolly jape.
DESCRIPTION: Oscar picks up the ball. J.J. and Isadora run around the yard. Wilbur stands in the middle of the yard.
J.J. AND ISADORA: Dodgeball!
DESCRIPTION: Oscar throws the ball at Wilbur. It bounces off him, and he frowns.
WILBUR: Is this supposed to be fun?
J.J.: Yeah!
OSCAR: And it was for me.
WILBUR: Ugh. Wizards don't play this stuff.
ISADORA: Give it a try, Wilbur. If a fairy vampire can play, so can a wizard.
DESCRIPTION: Wilbur picks up the ball.
J.J.: Dodgeball!
DESCRIPTION: Willbur throws the ball a few feet in front of him.
OSCAR: Oh.
J.J.: Come on, Wilbur. Try again. Ready, set, dodgeball!
WILBUR: Dodgeball isn't fun. I don't want to play anymore.
ISADORA: Oh. What do you want to do instead?
WILBUR: Magic!
DESCRIPTION: Wilbur sits on the ground with his knees to his chest. Isadora, J.J. and Oscar join him.
WILBUR: Magic is what I'm good at, and it's what I have fun doing.
J.J.: You know, one of the most fun things about playing sports is getting better at them.
ISADORA: Yeah! Come on. Give it another try, Wilbur. Please?
WILBUR: Fine.
DESCRIPTION: Wilbur gets up, and J.J. passes him the ball. Wilbur raises the ball.
EVERYONE: Dodgeball!
DESCRIPTION: Wilbur throws the ball, and his wizard hat falls off. The ball rolls away.
WILBUR: Ugh!
DESCRIPTION: Wilbur puts on his hat and clenches his fists. He walks across the yard and picks up the ball. Isadora, J.J. and Oscar run away from him.
ISADORA, J.J. AND OSCAR: Dodgeball!
DESCRIPTION: Wilbur smirks and pulls out his staff.
WILBUR: Just a teeny, little magical 'oomph'.
DESCRIPTION: Wilbur points his staff at the ball. The ball glows and grows in size. The ball bounces away, and Wilbur frowns. J.J. runs up to the ball.
J.J.: Wow!
ISADORA: Wilbur, did you use your magic?
OSCAR: Oh, my.
DESCRIPTION: Wilbur points his staff at the ball, and it glows.
J.J.: Whoa!
DESCRIPTION: The ball bounces over to J.J., and J.J. falls on the ball.
[Isadora gasping]
J.J.: Whoa!
ISADORA: J.J.!
DESCRIPTION: The ball grows bigger and bounces away with J.J.
[Isadora gasping]
J.J.: Oh, whoa!
Isadora: Hang on, J.J!
J.J.: Whoa-ho!
WILBUR: I can try to stop it.
DESCRIPTION: Wilbur points his staff toward the ball. Isadora flies over and lowers the staff.
ISADORA: Wilbur, no. Your magic is still wonky.
[J.J. laughing]
DESCRIPTION: J.J. rides the now giant ball like a horse.
WILBUR: Isadora, try your magic!
ISADORA: I can't, Wilbur. I don't have my wand. Remember?
J.J.: Wow! Whoa-ho-ho!
[Isadora gasping]
ISADORA: I've got an idea. You go that way, and I'll go this way.
DESCRIPTION: Isadora points to her right, then her left. She runs left across the yard. Wilbur leans his staff against a nearby box garden and runs to the other side of the yard.
J.J.: Whoa-ho-ho!
ISADORA: Now!
DESCRIPTION: Isadora and Wilbur jump on the giant ball. The ball continues bouncing.
[Cheering, giggling]
WILBUR: I don't think it worked.
J.J.: All my insides are jiggling!
OSCAR: Don't worry. I'm coming to save you all!
DESCRIPTION: Oscar dives toward the ball.
[Oscar grunting]
DESCRIPTION: Oscar flies through the ball.
OSCAR: Woo-hoo!
DESCRIPTION: Oscar frowns.
OSCAR: Oh, dear. I keep forgetting about that.
[Isadora, J.J. and Wilbur cheering, giggling]
J.J.: How long until the magic wears off, Wilbur?
WILBUR: Um, with my magic all wonky like this, it's kind of hard to say.
ISADORA, J.J. AND WILBUR: Whee!
J.J.: I think I want to get off now. My tummy's a bit too jiggly.
WILBUR: Ah. Mine, too. What's the plan, Isadora?
ISADORA: Um, not sure. Just stay here till the magic wears off?
[J.J. shouting]
J.J.: I definitely need to get off now.
WILBUR: Me, too. I'm dizzy!
DESCRIPTION: Isadora flies off the ball.
ISADORA: Just jump off.
J.J.: I can't! Do some magic to stop it.
ISADORA: Uh, okay. I'll have to get my wand.
J.J.: No! Don't leave us here bouncing about!
OSCAR: Well. This is quite the dilemma.
ISADORA: Uh…
DESCRIPTION: Isadora looks around. She smiles and flies over to J.J.
ISADORA: Hold my hands. I'll help you down.
DESCRIPTION: J.J. grabs Isadora’s hands, and she flies him down to the ground.
J.J.: Oh. Thanks, Isadora!
ISADORA: Now, you, Wilbur!
DESCRIPTION: Wilbur takes Isadora’s hands, and she flies him to the ground. Wilbur wobbles.
WILBUR: Thanks, Isadora.
DESCRIPTION: The giant ball bounces away.
[Ball thudding]
J.J.: Whoa! It's trying to get me!
DESCRIPTION: J.J. runs from the ball. The ball bounces in a circle around Isadora, Wilbur and J.J., then toward them.
ISADORA, WILBUR AND J.J.: Whoa!
DESCRIPTION: Isadora, Wilbur and J.J. run from the ball.
WILBUR: Get it away from me!
OSCAR: I thought jousting was fun, but extreme dodgeball is superb!
DESCRIPTION: Oscar dodges the giant ball. J.J. dives to the ground as the ball bounces toward him. The ball bounces off Cordelia’s greenhouse.
[J.J. shouting]
DESCRIPTION: The ball bounces between Isadora and Wilbur. Isadora flies to the left, and Wilbur runs to the right.
ISADORA: Watch out!
DESCRIPTION: The ball bounces across the yard and rolls toward Wilbur.
WILBUR: Here it comes!
DESCRIPTION: Wilbur runs toward J.J. and Isadora.
J.J.: We're going to get squished!
DESCRIPTION: Isadora flies higher. Wilbur and J.J. run toward a tree.
[Isadora gasping]
[Wilbur and J.J. shouting]
DESCRIPTION: The ball rolls into Wilbur and J.J. and presses them against the tree.
[Wilbur and J.J. shouting]
ISADORA: Not if I have anything to do with it. Playtime's over.
DESCRIPTION: Isadora grabs Wilbur’s staff from the box garden. She presses the pointed end opposite the orb into the ball and pops it.
[Popping]
[Air whooshing]
DESCRIPTION: Wilbur and J.J. stumble to the ground.
WILBUR AND J.J.: Whoa!
DESCRIPTION: The ball deflates and soars through the air. Oscar dodges the ball as it races past him.
OSCAR: Oh. Just as it was getting interesting.
DESCRIPTION: Oscar looks disappointed. Isadora lands and sets the staff on a bench. Wilbur and J.J. run over.
WILBUR AND J.J.: Oh, thanks, Isadora!
DESCRIPTION: Wilbur and J.J. hug Isadora.
[Isadora chuckling]
ISADORA: You're welcome.
WILBUR: I'm really sorry about doing magic when I had the wonky wobbles. I didn't feel like me not doing magic.
ISADORA: Wilbur, you're so much more than just all magic.
WILBUR: I am?
ISADORA: Of course. I'm a fairy vampire, but I do loads of other things, too. Come on. Let's play something else.
[Oscar gasping]
OSCAR: Ooh! I know a good game you could try. Catch the ghost!
[Oscar giggling]
OSCAR: You can't catch me!
DESCRIPTION: Isadora, Wilbur and J.J. chase Oscar around the yard.
[Isadora, Wilbur and J.J. giggling]
DESCRIPTION: Oscar dives in and out of the ground as he flies around the yard.

J.J.: Wow!
