Mr. Hugo’s Little Library: A Hundred Million Ways

Descriptive Transcript

DESCRIPTION: On the storybook stage of Mr. Hugo’s Little Library, drag queens in elaborate sea creature costumes dance. Marama the Mermaid, wearing a voluminous blue wig with a seashell crown and a tiny pirate ship, wears a sparkly blue dress that forms a mermaid tail and is adorned with pearl jewelry.

MARAMA SINGING: But you'll have sailed the bestest ship. And that is friend.

SHELLY: That sounds like fun!

DESCRIPTION: Gabby, Whaea Wheke and Shelly dance side by side behind Marama.

MARAMA SINGING: A sign of shiny things to come. Except for seaweed bubble gum. As we sail out on the seas. I can put your mind at ease!
