DESCRIPTION: On an indoor hard court, T.V.O. Kids host Gabrielle sits on a bench and ties her right shoelace. Gabrielle has short brown hair and wears a purple T.V.O. Kids t-shirt.

GABRIELLE: Hey, T.V.O. Kids! One of the coolest things about soccer is that it's played all over the world in so many different ways.

DESCRIPTION: A video clip shows a professional soccer match in a stadium. A video montage features a person dribbling a soccer ball on a wet beach, the setting sun reflecting on the sand; teens playing soccer on a paved court scattered with fallen leaves; two players with above-knee amputations using forearm crutches as a defender moves to block a shot on the net, and people playing soccer using a basketball on a patchy field.

GABRIELLE: In some places, soccer is played in big stadiums with cheering crowds. In others, it's played on beaches and alleyways and parks, or even on schoolyards with just a few friends and a ball. Some kids play barefoot, some use cones, bags, or shoes to mark goals, and some play with lots of teammates, and some play just for fun.

DESCRIPTION: On a snowy day, a child bounces a soccer ball off the tops of their shoes. On the hard court, Gabrielle sits on the bench.

GABRIELLE: That's why the World Cup in Toronto is so special.

DESCRIPTION: A spinning soccer ball features flags from different countries.

GABRIELLE: It brings together players and fans from everywhere, all sharing the same love for the game. And now, you're part of it too. No matter where you live or how you play, soccer has room for you, and that's what makes it a beautiful game. See you next time!

DESCRIPTION: Gabrielle waves, then turns to her left shoe.
