[Upbeat music plays, basketball thumps]

DESCRIPTION: On an indoor hard court, T.V.O. Kids host Gabrielle stands with her hands on her hips beside Coach Ann-Merrie. Gabrielle has short brown hair and wears a purple T.V.O. Kids t-shirt. Coach Ann-Merrie has long brown hair and wears a blue jacket with white stripes on the sleeves over a black shirt. Video footage shows Coach Ann-Merrie kicking a soccer ball into a net at one end of the court. On the other side of a small barrier behind them, a person on a small basketball court shoots baskets.

GABRIELLE: I am here on the field with Coach Ann-Merrie, and this is my first time doing a soccer drill, and Coach Ann-Merrie, I'm a little bit nervous.

DESCRIPTION: Gabrielle swings her arms.

COACH ANN-MERRIE: That's okay, this one's all about dribbling.

DESCRIPTION: Gabrielle nods.

COACH ANN-MERRIE: So we're gonna move the ball and keep it nice and close to our feet. The trick is little touches, not big kicks.

DESCRIPTION: The coach passes a soccer ball from foot to foot, hitting it gently with the inside of her shoe. She passes the ball to Gabrielle.

GABRIELLE: Okay, okay.

DESCRIPTION: Gabrielle bounces the ball off her heels and backs up.

GABRIELLE: Eh!

COACH ANN-MERRIE: There we go.

GABRIELLE: This is kinda hard, low-key.

COACH ANN-MERRIE: Yeah, so we wanna stay light on our feet, right? And just keep nice and loose to keep it nice and close to your feet.

DESCRIPTION: Gabrielle passes the ball from foot to foot.

GABRIELLE: Okay, okay.

COACH ANN-MERRIE: There we go.

DESCRIPTION: Gabrielle stops practicing her dribbling and stands with her hands on her hips.

GABRIELLE: So, why do we practice dribbling?

COACH ANN-MERRIE: Because dribbling is how we move the ball up the field without the other team stealing it from us. And practicing control helps us at every part of the game.

GABRIELLE: Okay, well, there you go, T.V.O. Kids. Hey, why don't you pick up a ball and practice your own soccer dribble? See you next time.

DESCRIPTION: Gabrielle and Coach Ann-Merrie wave. Gabrielle practices dribbling the ball.

GABRIELLE: Here I go!

COACH ANN-MERRIE: There we go!

GABRIELLE: I'm cooking!

COACH ANN-MERRIE: Nice.

GABRIELLE: I'm cooking! Yeah-h-h!
