(CITY BUSTLING)

A school bus stops in front of a theatre. A billboard reads "TVO Kids Theatre Presents: Where to put your stuff."

(CHILDREN CHATTERING)

Inside the theatre, the curtains open.

A bus appears on stage. A school girl loads it with boxes.

(BROADWAY MUSIC PLAYING)

They start singing.

The bus sings NOT TRYING TO BE RUDE
BUT WHAT THEY HECK
ARE YOU DOIN'

The school girl says LOADING STUFF ON THE BUS
IS WHAT I AM PURSUING

The bus says NEEDLESS TO SAY,
IT AIN'T WORKIN'
TOO MUCH STUFF,
AND THE DRIVERS LURKIN'
WHAT I THINK YOU'RE
REALLY SEARCHIN' IS
WHAT'S THE BUS RULE?

The bus driver walks in and says WHEN YOU GET ON A BUS
DON'T PUT STUFF
IN THE AISLE
WHEN YOU LOAD A BUS
DON'T PUT STUFF
IN THE AISLE
PUT IT ON YOUR LAP
BUT DON'T PUT STUFF
IN THE AISLE
OR UNDERNEATH YOUR SEAT
BUT DON'T PUT
STUFF IN THE AISLE
(CLAPPING AND CHEERING)
(WHISTLING)
(APPLAUSE CONTINUES)

The curtains close.

The bus driver says OH...
GET THE CURTAIN,
GET THE CURTAIN
OVER THE BUS.
LET'S GO. NOW.
(APPLAUSE CONTINUES)
(GIGGLING)
(CLAPPING)
