(CITY BUSTLING)

A school bus stops in front of a theatre. A billboard reads "TVO Kids Theatre Presents: How to sit on the bus."

(CHILDREN CHATTERING)

Inside the theatre, the curtains open.

A bus appears on stage. A school girl stands in the bus, dancing and moving around.

(BROADWAY MUSIC PLAYING)

They sing.

The bus says NO ONE KNOWS HOW TO
SIT ON THE BUS
BY THE RULES
NO ONE CARES HOW TO LEARN
THOUGH THEY ALL
GO TO SCHOOL

The bus driver walks on stage and says YOU HAVE TO REMEMBER THAT
BUSES AREN'T CARS
THERE'S NO SAFETY BELTS
THE RULES ARE FOR SURE
IF YOU DON'T SIT RIGHT
YOU WON'T BE SAFE
SO IT'S IMPORTANT TO
BE ACTING MATURE

The school girl says WELL HOW SHOULD I SIT?
TO BE SAFE
SAFE AND SOUND

The bus driver says ALWAYS REMEMBER TO FOLLOW
THESE RULES
SIT FACING FORWARD

They all say SIT FACING FORWARD
SIT FACING FORWARD
WITH BOTH FEET ON THE GROUND

(CHEERING AND CLAPPING)
(APPLAUSE CONTINUES)

The curtains close.

The bus driver says OH...
IS IT CAUGHT?
IS IT CAUGHT?
I THINK THEY LIKED IT.
(APPLAUSE CONTINUES)

The driver says I THINK THAT WAS BROADWAY.

The bus says THINK THAT WAS
OUR BEST SHOW YET.
